What You'll Do:

The Impact:

This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in advancing our enterprise’s centralized logging and SOAR capabilities. You will be responsible for deploying, managing, and optimizing centralized logging tools, data pipeline, and SOAR platforms at scale, ensuring robust visibility and rapid response across the organization. Massachusetts General Hospital is one of the leading academic surgical centers in the United States. As we are expanding our activities in robotic surgery across multiple specialties, we are inviting an experienced and motivated Physician Assistant to join our team full-time. The primary responsibility in this position will include surgical first-assistance in robotic surgical cases on services including but not limited to Thoracic, Urology, Gynecology, Colorectal, and General Surgery. We are a high-volume center, averaging 150+ robotic procedures per month. A competitive candidate will have at least 2 years of operating room experience, with preference for at least 1 year of dedicated robotic surgical experience. Thoracic Surgery experience will be strongly preferred. This position reports directly to the Robotic Surgery APP Manager, Medical Director of Perioperative Services, and OR Nursing Director. PAs will be listed as being supervised by the surgical director of our PA program. This is 4-10hr shift per week position PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Primary management of mostly adult and some pediatric surgical patients in the operating room in conjunction with surgical faculty and staff. Day-to-day duties will focus on directly assisting in multispecialty robotic surgery as the first-assistant. This role is in direct support of the operating room; there will be no floor, consult, or clinic responsibilities. Operational

Our Advanced Practice Providers team with DHMTs (Medical Technicians) and are equipped with everything needed to treat common to complex injuries and illnesses through comprehensive health assessments, including diagnosis, treatment, and outcome management, for patients of all ages. Job purpose

Participate as a member of the medical service delivery team in the health management and treatment of individuals seeking medical services with Tapestry. Provide confidential medical services, counseling, and education to clients concerning reproductive health issues to enable them to make fully informed decisions and access the full range of medical services needed.

Duties and responsibilities

Perform routine initial/ annual comprehensive exams and other reproductive health related exams to all clients.

Provide for the assessment and management of sexually transmitted infections, and other reproductive health issues in accordance with Tapestry medical protocols.

Order laboratory and diagnostic tests as described in the protocol.

Perform lab tests and venipuncture as needed and within scope of practice.

Provide appropriate birth control methods and medication in accordance with Tapestry medical protocols.

Provide reproductive health counseling and distribute appropriate written information.

Make appropriate referrals to other health care providers for services beyond the scope of Tapestry.

Document all information in electronic medical record and on logs per protocol.

Assist in training and orientation of new staff, interns and/or volunteers.

Qualifications

Licensed to practice advance practice nursing as a Nurse Practitioner in Massachusetts.

Board Certified by American Nursing Association, or American College of Nurse Midwives, or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Provider is responsible for rounding and managing the clinical care of the population at the assigned SNF.
  • The provider is responsible for rounding daily and prescribing medications and treatments for residents residing at SNFs.
  • Provider will provide high quality, patient-centered, comprehensive primary care services to patients residing in SNFs.
  • Provider is responsible for timely documentation of all patient care/encounters
  • The provider will be available for phone/secure messaging consultations with facility nursing staff.

Shift Structure
