Senior Associate, CRE Underwriting (Structured/Bridge Multifamily transactions) - NYC

This role will sit 5 days in NYC (eventually possibly pulling back to 4 days in NYC over time)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required
• Ideally seeking 5+ years of working knowledge of commercial real estate debt transactions/multifamily underwriting
• Extensive prior underwriting experience pertaining to large/big-ticket/complex transitional multifamily transactions will be key (bridge, structured, mezzanine, preferred equity, etc).

Responsibilities:

• Develop and structure financing proposals for presentation internally to the Fund's Credit committee, and externally to potential debt and equity partners
• Work alongside portfolio managers and other team members collaborating CRE debt transactional process
• Collect and analyze transaction due diligence and assist in the underwriting of pipeline transactions, identifying and communicating deal strengths and risks/mitigants
• Produce short and long-form Investment Memoranda and financial models for active presentations at Investment Committee meetings
• Support the Fund's existing investment asset management functions by analyzing performance, credit and market conditions across the seasoned loan portfolio
• Collaborate with origination, underwriting, and senior management (CEO, CFO, COO) internally
• Interact and communicate with borrowers to address sensitive and non-routine matters in addition to risk related items
• Assist in business development and fund marketing, with significant external exposure to existing investors, prospective equity partners and clients
• Review, mentor, and guide the supporting analysts

Job Summary

Purpose of Position:

Under the general supervision of the Director, Engineering and Support Services, assists in directing programs to

manage building maintenance, grounds, and equipment and procurement or generation of utilities and their

distribution systems. Formulates and evaluates programs and projects and supervises functional programming

activities. Ensures ongoing compliance with NYC Health + Hospitals and relevant health care setting policies, and other appropriate regulatory requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Directs, coordinates, and maintains control over project assignments and related activities including in-house

construction, renovation, and engineering activities. Follows standard methods and procedures for the

implementation of maintenance systems and operations, construction contracts, and/or capital projects development.

2. Assists in the direction of trade staff through the development processes and procedures for the

implementation of maintenance operations, construction contracts, and capital projects. Assists the Director in

identifying staffing needs to support service delivery.

3. Prepares reports, develops and prepares engineering management audits, studies and surveys for the Director,

Minimum Qualifications

2. High school diploma or its educational equivalent, approved by a State’s Department of Education or a recognized accrediting organization; and six (6) years of experience, as described in 1 above.

The Engineering Manager supervises, trains, and inspects the performance of the engineering staff ensuring that all procedures are completed to property standards. Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer to join our team, specializing in the creation of detailed shop drawings, fabrication models, and as-built documentation. The role focuses on translating engineering design intent into precise, constructible shop drawings and high-quality 3D models using advanced CAD/BIM software. This position plays a critical role in bridging the gap between conceptual/structural design and field fabrication/installation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficient construction.

The ideal candidate has strong technical drafting and modeling skills, attention to detail, and experience producing shop drawings for fabrication and erection in structural steel, concrete, mechanical systems, or similar domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and produce detailed shop drawings (including plans, sections, elevations, details, schedules, and bills of materials) from engineering sketches, design drawings, specifications, and client requirements.
• Create, maintain, and update accurate 3D models (BIM or parametric models) using software such as Revit, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar tools.
• Generate fabrication-ready outputs, including part marks, connection details, assembly drawings, erection sequences, and material lists.

• Identify and escalate capital repair needs, system risks, and long-term infrastructure improvements

• Serve as shift lead for the Engineering team, ensuring coverage, task delegation, and work quality

• Assist in planning daily engineering priorities in collaboration with the Director of

Engineering

• Guide and mentor Engineers on technical procedures, safety standards, and quality expectations

• Review work orders for urgency, operational impact, and technical complexity

• Support scheduling coordination and shift coverage planning

• Act as a liaison between Engineering and operational departments regarding system performance and technical needs

• Support tool, parts, and inventory oversight for operational readiness

• Participate in facility upgrades, system improvements, and engineering projects Safety & Standards

• Ensure compliance with all building, safety, fire, and environmental standards

• Promote a strong culture of safety and professional engineering practices

• Immediately report system failures, hazards, or compliance concerns

• Uphold Casa Cipriani's standards of professionalism, discretion, and service excellence

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

• High school diploma required; technical school or trade certification preferred

• Minimum 4+ years of engineering experience in hotel, luxury residential, or commercial facilities

• Strong technical background in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems

• Experience serving in a lead, senior, or supervisory engineering capacity preferred

• Ability to troubleshoot complex building systems independently

• Strong communication and team leadership skills

• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

• OSHA certification, EPA certification, or trade licensing strongly preferred

• Attention to Detail: Maintains property aesthetics consistent with a five-star standard. • Professionalism: Represents Casa Cipriani's luxury brand through conduct and presentation.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION:

• Ability to walk, stand, bend, and perform maintenance tasks for extended periods.

• Ability to climb ladders, stoop, squat, and work in confined spaces.

• Must be able to push/pull carts or equipment up to 250 lbs.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. safely and repeatedly.

• Ability to work in varying temperature and environmental conditions.

• Manual dexterity and visual acuity for detailed repair work.
