Monitor when required rheology, LGS trends, and dilution strategies using real‑time diagnostic data .

Troubleshoot fluid-related issues and implement corrective actions aligned with patented workflows.

Collaborate with operator, rig crews, mud suppliers, and solids control personnel to maintain system integrity.

Solids Control Optimization Oversee shaker, centrifuge, and cuttings dryer performance with a focus on LGS prevention , not post‑event correction.

Assist in applying PSD and XRF data to guide equipment settings, screen selection, and dilution decisions.

Evaluate solids removal efficiency and recommend adjustments that reduce non‑productive dilution and protect fluid properties.

Document and communicate solids control performance using NPTLabs’ proprietary reporting formats.

Real‑Time Diagnostics & Patented Workflows Interpret NPTLabs’ patented PSD/XRF diagnostic tools to quantify solids loading, elemental composition, and system trends for the operator.

Convert diagnostic data into actionable recommendations that reduce cost, improve drilling performance, and prevent fluid degradation.

Support deployment of new diagnostic technologies and digital reporting systems.

Qualifications Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Geology, or related field (preferred).

5+ years of experience in management of drilling fluids, solids control, and or oilfield technical sales.

Demonstrated success in customer-facing engineering or technical sales roles.

Strong understanding of drilling fluid rheology, LGS management, and solids control equipment.

Job Summary:

  • Confers with management/client to understand work situation. Performs needs, job and task analysis to determine training required for trainees to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations and technologies.
  • Recommends an implementation plan for development of instructional methods and delivery of individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings and workshops.
  • Designs and develops teaching outlines and specific training to address the client needs by incorporating methods and requirements of instructional systems such as Instructional Systems Development (ISD), Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) or Training Systems Development (TSD) process.
  • Selects or develops teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials and reference works.
  • Delivers training sessions covering specified areas of technical specialty.
  • Designs and develops exams to measure progress and to evaluate effectiveness of recommended training.

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs procedures for testing or analysis on specimens submitted to the laboratory. Evaluates test results for accuracy and submits results for the purpose of aiding the physician in diagnostic and therapeutic treatment of patients. Performs analyses that may involve a complex network of steps, variable fine-line discriminations of several parameters, correction of a variety of errors, and the operation and maintenance of complicated instruments. Plans work activities and makes decisions connected with own work. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Requires at least three (3) years for experience in Microbiology

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs procedures for testing or analysis on specimens submitted to the laboratory. Evaluates test results for accuracy and submits results for the purpose of aiding the physician in diagnostic and therapeutic treatment of patients. Performs analyses that may involve a complex network of steps, variable fine-line discriminations of several parameters, correction of a variety of errors, and the operation and maintenance of complicated instruments. Mentors and accounts for work of trainees and other supportive technical personnel employed by the laboratory. Performs assigned duties rapidly and accurately. Plans work activities and makes decisions connected with own work. Recognizes unusual results and/or abnormalities and takes prompt and appropriate action to assure the accuracy and validity of test result. Assumes accountability for the dissemination of patient information to ensure the confidentiality and privacy of patients. Duties may also include performance of procedures associated with procurement of specimens from patients.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Requires at least three (3) years for experience in Microbiology

- Bachelor's degree in medical technology or an appropriate biological/chemical/medical science from an accredited college or university, and

- Successful completion of a structured clinical program (CAHEA approved), and certification in clinical laboratory sciences by a recognized certifying agency.

OR:

- Bachelor's degree in medical technology or an appropriate biological/chemical/medical science from an accredited college or university, and

- Successful completion of a structured clinical program (CAHEA approved) and must obtain a certification in clinical laboratory sciences or laboratory categorical within the first six (6) months from date of hire.

OR:

- Completion of an accredited structured clinical program in Medical Technology (NOTE: For Military Training, the 60-week program must have been successfully completed.) and

- Certification by a recognized certifying agency, both prior to 1963.

OR:

- Bachelor's degree or Master's Degree in an appropriate biological/chemical/medical science from an accredited college or university and

- A clinical laboratory categorical certification (certification after obtaining degree is preferred).

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION

Certification by the American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP-BOC) or American Medical Technologists (AMT) is required.
