- Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs, services, and equipment installations
- Coordinate and oversee outside maintenance activities to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency
Compliance & Food Safety
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), HACCP requirements, OSHA regulations, and food safety standards
- Participate in internal and external audits to ensure maintenance records and procedures meet regulatory requirements
Budgeting & Capital Projects
- Develop and manage the maintenance department budget, including monitoring expenses related to parts, repairs, and contractors
- Lead capital projects involving equipment upgrades, facility improvements, and process optimization, including planning, budgeting, vendor coordination, and project timelines.
Continuous Improvement
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, reliability, and cost control.

Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably within food manufacturing or a regulated production environment
- Prior management or supervisory experience leading maintenance teams
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment and automated production lines
- Knowledge of electrical systems including 480V three-phase power
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for work order management and equipment tracking
- Strong understanding of food safety and workplace safety regulations, including GMPs, HACCP, OSHA, and FDA standards
- Experience in food manufacturing, specifically canned good

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Vocational or Technical Certification Post Secondary degree or Technical Certifications, preferred
- Basic tools, required
- Demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines including:
- Routine preventative maintenance, which should include oil changes, brake and tire work
- Diagnostics and repairs, including AC, electrical systems
- Advanced skilled level repairs to include some major engine repairs, diesel after treatment or automotive fuel injection repairs, required
- Four (4) years or more Relevant work experience, preferred
- Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A,preferred
- All other certification as required by location, required
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to perform all T3 tasks
- Must have demonstrated advanced analytical and repair skills in vehicle maintenance
- Effective interpersonal communication skills
- Must have basic computer skills: PC, Windows, mouse, etc.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be available to work shift work/weekends and on call duty as required
- Prefer ASE Certification in PM, Brakes, A/C, electrical, Electronics or ASE Master Mechanic
- Required to operate shop computers and diagnostic test equipment proficiently
- Must have minimum tool requirement
- Must road test vehicles as necessary

- This position requires for you to drive Ryder vehicles. In order to become a Ryder employee you must:
- Must be able to obtain CDL within 6 months after hire

Responsibilities
- SBTIII trained within 180 days (SBT220)
- Complete all OEM on-line diagnostic scan tool software courses as required by location fleet mix. (completed within 365days)
- Complete Instructor led OEM courses as required to support location fleet mix.
- Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties including:
- Performs standard vehicle maintenance
- Performs preventive maintenance
- Performs complex repairs with minimal (if any) support.
- Demonstrate the ability to access and use internal and external maintenance documents
- Diagnoses and repairs complex mechanical and electronic problems with minimal (if any) support, utilizing diagnostic computers/software when applicable.
- Performs remote triage to with RCRC and customers to determine best solution to assist roadside breakdowns.
- Performs facility maintenance duties
- Interacts with customers/drivers to properly determine nature of complaint once assigned a task.
- Instructs and advises other technicians regarding maintenance repair procedures and diagnostics
- Coaches/Mentors other level technicians
- Advise shop management and other technicians on shop repairs
- Utilizes key functions of Shop Management System and electronic documentation available
- Works in accordance with all federal/ provincial and corporate compliance guidelines (i.e., safety, DOT, MOT)
- Other support duties as required to support operations. These could include but are not limited to Service Island support.

As a CNC Mill Programming Coordinator with PCB Piezotronics, Inc., you will utilizes education, experience and technical knowledge to provide process improvement through design of tooling, fixturing, and set-up reduction. Works closely with various machine shop personnel, Engineering, and customers. Works under supervision.
Additional Duties:
- Create manufacturing work instructions and processes. Research and analyze existing parts production, systems, subsystems, equipment to improve performance, reliability, quality and cost.
- Safely develop / produce advanced programs, tooling, fixturing and procedure instructions for Makino, Fanuc, and EDM machine tools accordingly.
- Proposes technology improvements in machine control software, operations and automation. Programming Renishaw probe measurement systems
- Works with other employees to provide support and training with regard to machine shop procedures, ISO 9001 documentation, production equipment, and company policies/procedures.
- Follows up with Machinist to ensure accuracy of Program. Performs trouble shooting and identifies common machine problems.
- Justifies purchase support tooling and equipment for programs
- Conducts floor technical assistance and training for machinists.
- Assist in machine tool evaluation procurement.
- Assists, develops and maintains tools to be used for continuous improvements throughout the company.
- Assists in technical software training for all programmers and Machine shop personnel if needed for the Milling department
- Able to create/edit and maintain access/excel data bases for use on the shop floor.
- Coordinates programmers, notifies of any changes to software or processes that may need to be implemented.
- May assist in floor layout plans.
- Ability to create CNC programs, tooling, fixturing and AS9102 work instructions for 3,4, and 5 axis work for CNC Milling department.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
- Associates degree in mechanical technologies or equivalent experience.
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years machine shop experience.
- 8 years programming CNC machines up to 5 axes.
- Ability to work with Engineers to relay customer requirements with key product characteristics.
- Participate in design of experiments and developing SPC criteria.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in setup reduction and product standardization methods.
