What We’re Looking For

• Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree (required)
• Active state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience in long-term care/nursing home settings (preferred)
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, independent settings
• Able to lift/carry up to 15 lbs. as needed

Compensation

• Providers are compensated based on a percentage of the revenue they generate through billing and collections. Based on 50 working weeks per year, estimated annual earnings range from $20,000–$70,000 per day per week worked (e.g., 1 day/week = $20,000–$70,000 annually; up to 5 days/week = $100,000–$350,000 annually). Actual earnings vary based on caseload, patient volume, services rendered, and billing and collection performance. A comprehensive overview of our compensation structure will be provided during the interview process.

Role Description

The purpose of a Medical Scribe at Oak Street Health is to support our primary care providers with clinical documentation so that they can focus on providing exceptional care to our patients. Scribes assist providers throughout the patient care journey - huddling each morning to plan for the day's visits, joining them in the exam room to observe and document, and touching base after the visit to assist with next steps.

Beyond the typical Scribe role, these important care team members serve as clinical documentation assistants to their paired provider. Internally, we call them CISs (Clinic Informatics Specialists) in recognition of their important role in supporting accurate, specific, and timely clinical documentation. In addition to observing and documenting all patient encounters in real time, our Scribes become experts in our value-based care model and the documentation and care of chronic conditions, including ICD-10 and CPT coding. Scribes use this expertise to help providers identify and help close care gaps. Scribes receive extensive on-the-job training in clinical workflows, value-based medicine, preventative care for chronic conditions, accurate and specific documentation, population health data streams, and team based care.

Because our patients and providers rely on our Scribes, the ideal candidate should commit at least 1-2 years to this role. This is an excellent opportunity for pre-med track individuals looking to gain practical, paid experience in a clinical setting before applying to an MD/DO/PA/NP program, as well as those pursuing careers in Health Informatics, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Medical Coding, and other related fields.

Responsibilities:
• Documenting Patient Encounters ~ 80%
• Joining the provider in the exam room to observe patient visits
• Documenting patient encounters in a structured note, including the history of the present illness, assessment, plan, and physical exam
• Assigning appropriate CPT and ICD-10 codes
• Preparing After Visit Summaries
• Consulting with provider to ensure accurate and specific documentation

What we're looking for

Knowledge
• Knowledge of medical terminology and common medications, either from a pre-medical degree or prior clinical experience [required]
• Prior clinical experience, including shadowing and/or volunteering [strongly preferred]
• Prior scribe or transcription experience [preferred but not required]

Skills
• Advanced listening and communication skills [required]
• Strong computer literacy and ability to learn new technical workflows [required]
• Fluency in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other languages spoken by people in the communities we serve [required where indicated]

Abilities

Position Summary: The Account Manager, Micronutrients is responsible for driving profitable revenue growth across Verdesian’s granular micronutrients and ferrous sulfate product portfolios. This role owns the development, retention, and expansion of an assigned customer base, serving as the primary commercial lead responsible for uncovering new opportunities, increasing product adoption, and executing growth strategies within existing accounts.

Reporting to the General Manager, Micronutrients, the Account Manager plays a critical role in executing the Micronutrients sales strategy by building strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and converting pipeline into sustained revenue. This role partners cross-functionally to ensure effective forecasting, pricing execution, and order fulfillment while maintaining a relentless focus on growth, customer value, and market expansion. Success in this role requires a proactive, results-driven mindset, the ability to manage a full sales cycle, and a strong commitment to growing the Micronutrients business.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Own and grow assigned accounts within the Micronutrients business, driving revenue expansion, product adoption and long-term customer retention
• Serve as the primary commercial contact for customers, building strong relationships and proactively identifying new growth opportunities
• Manage and convert inbound and outbound sales opportunities for granular micronutrients, ferrous sulfate and brokered product offerings
• Partner with internal teams to deliver accurate forecasting, pipeline management and demand planning to support business growth objectives
• Maintain pricing strategy execution, including ERP pricing, price matrices and margin discipline in alignment with commercial goals
• Analyze sales performance, customer trends, and business metrics to inform growth strategies and weekly reporting on KPIs, business health and targets
• Oversee new customer onboarding, including customer setup, initial order execution and early-stage account development
• Act as the escalation point for customer issues, complaints, or quality concerns, ensuring timely resolution while protecting customer relationships
• Coordinate custom granular formulation projects, serving as the commercial lead from opportunity identification through execution
• Manage and respond to inbound website inquiries, converting leads into qualified sales opportunities

• Maintain a disciplined monthly prospect pipeline and rolling sales forecast to improve visibility, execution and revenue predictability

Position Summary:

The Project Engineer will be responsible for design on multiple projects, directing and/or leading other design professionals within their discipline, and working with other design disciplines internal and external to PEC to develop engineering solutions for PEC’s Clients. This position will be responsible for providing design deliverables for a variety of projects, while maintaining PEC’s standard of excellence. This position utilizes BIM/CAD software, hand calculations, and computer-based calculations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for project completion in accordance with qualify assurance policies, standards and project specifications
• Prepare and review engineering plans and drawings
• Assist in the preparation of project proposals, cost estimates, and feasibility studies
• Performs and/or directs engineering design, coordination with other design staff for construction document and specification production in compliance with building codes, construction administration, and development of reports/studies
• Serves as an advisor to the Project Manager, identifying and communicating any potential risk to the project in a timely fashion
• Performs and/or directs design computations by hand and by computer software
