POSITION SUMMARY
The Project Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules to ensure construction projects are delivered on time and within budget. This role collaborates closely with project managers, preconstruction managers, estimators, superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to coordinate timelines, monitor progress, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Schedule Development & Planning
- Develop detailed baseline schedules using tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar scheduling software, covering all project phases from RFP/Project Launch through Substantial Completion and Final Turnover.
- Create Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and define project activities, durations, and sequencing.
- Establish logic-driven critical path (CPM) and identify schedule constraints.
- Resource load schedules with quantities, labor, and cost data when required.
- Prepare schedule narratives documenting assumptions and methodologies.
- Collaborate with project managers, preconstruction managers, field teams and estimators during both preconstruction and construction phases.
Schedule Monitoring & Control

Means & Methods

Reporting & Communication

Risk Management

QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (preferred).
Experience
- 3 to 7+ years of experience in construction scheduling or project controls preferably within the US, South Florida or the Caribbean.
- Experience on commercial, industrial, infrastructure, or residential projects.
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing means and methods.

This is a strategic partnership opportunity for a technically elite CNC machinist who wants to help build and own a high-performance aerospace machining company from the ground up.
You will be responsible for leading the technical direction of the shop, establishing and maintaining relationships with prime contractors, setting production standards and SOPs, and overseeing machining operations.

The Superintendent will schedule all the earthwork, roadwork, or other self-performed work and coordinate field crews through directives given to foremen as well as plan and schedule all requirements to control labor, equipment and material costs. This individual will be responsible for the timely completion of assigned operations and stay within budget. The ideal candidate should be flexible with working hours.
Position will support a large highway construction project in Lakeland, FL.
Responsibilities:
Including but not limited to:
· Oversee field personnel, daily/weekly schedules, and construction operations
· Supervise and schedule grading, drainage, paving, structures, and other miscellaneous highway construction crews and subcontractors on a daily basis
· Provide leadership and direction to construction personnel
· Manage field operations as well as coordinate work with other company Superintendents and subcontractors
· Assist in On-the-Job training
· Take an active role in emphasizing safety, quality and production, leading by example
· Assist Engineers with quantities and productions
· Coordinate equipment and crews and other job related activities to maximize efficiency
· Attend status meetings to discuss progress and public impact
· Perform additional assignments as needed
· Assist estimators and engineers during the pursuit of new work including borrow pit locations and selection, plant site selection, value engineering, etc.
· Develop and train Superintendents, Engineers, Foremen and Craft Workers
· Ensure that ALL resources assigned are maintained, protected, secured and used at optimum efficiency
· Protection and enhancement of public relations, company image, and company worth
· Understand project budgets and productions to manage personnel and equipment efficiently
· Have a working knowledge of all required plans and specifications
· Develop Foreman through mentoring
· Assist with survey and field layout
· Carry out job duties while maintaining Lane values

Qualifications:
· Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience for a Heavy/Highway contractor ($100M+ level)
· Demonstrated decision making skills
· Ability to work in high production environment
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Working knowledge of HCSS preferred
· Working understanding of types of equipment necessary for production
· Ability to respond quickly and effectively under pressure and deadlines
· Familiar with DOT standards
· Excellent team building skills is a must
· Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar is desired but not necessary
· Demonstrated ability to be flexible and quickly adaptable to changing conditions across all spectrums.

What you'll be doing:
We are seeking a technically skilled and highly organized Equipment Project Manager to lead the implementation, standardization, and performance oversight of car wash equipment across our expanding network. This role plays a critical part in supporting new site development, managing post-acquisition integration, and providing end-to-end oversight of equipment systems to ensure consistency, reliability, and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, in-depth understanding of car wash equipment systems, and proven experience navigating the technical complexities of both greenfield projects and M&A environments.
Project Oversight – New Developments & Retrofits
- Oversee the full project lifecycle for equipment installation in new builds, site conversions, and expansion projects.
- Collaborate with internal development teams, contractors, and vendors to review site plans, equipment layouts, and infrastructure requirements.
- Develop and maintain documentation on equipment specs, layouts, installation standards and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and risk mitigation plans related to equipment delivery and integration.
- Conduct on-site visits to monitor installation quality, compliance, and performance testing.
M&A Integration – Technical Assessment & Standardization
- Conduct equipment evaluations during due diligence for potential acquisitions, identifying risks, upgrade needs, and integration opportunities.
- Lead the post-acquisition equipment standardization process, including retrofits, control system upgrades, and chemical system alignment.
- Partner with Operations and Facilities teams to ensure smooth transitions and minimal downtime during M&A rollouts.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as the bridge between Development, Operations, Facilities, and M&A teams, ensuring alignment on equipment strategy and execution.
- Manage third-party vendors, OEMs, and service providers to maintain accountability for project deliverables and service SLAs.
- Support the development of training materials and SOPs for site managers and maintenance staff regarding equipment operation and troubleshooting.
What you'll bring to the team:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Systems, Business, or a related field required.
- 7-10 years of project management experience in equipment-intensive environments (car wash, automotive service, industrial equipment, etc.)
- Proven track record managing multiple concurrent projects, including greenfield builds and acquisition integrations.
- Deep technical understanding of car wash systems, including conveyors, arches, chemical delivery, water reclamation, and control systems.
- Proficient in project and task management tools (e.g., MS Project, CMMS, Smartsheet, Procore).
- Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, electrical schematics, and site layouts.
- Familiarity with automation controls and telemetry systems is a plus.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management training preferred.
- Willingness to travel up to 85% to oversee project sites and integration efforts.

- Performs process, tool, and gauge development and implementation activities, implement cost reductions, develop process layouts, develop, and maintain manufacturing instructions and device history records, and execute process validation protocols, builds and reports
KEY DUTIES
- Work with Manufacturing Engineer Manager and / or Manufacturing Director to determine projects and related tasks.
- Manage and lead projects and tasks.
- Manage Tooling System including preventive maintenance, calibrations, and equipment records (if applicable)
- Support & develop new processes that increase productivity and reduce cost.
- Implement cost reductions via materials or manufacturing time.
- Implement new process and issue process validation protocols and reports.
- Develop fixtures, gigs, and gages.
- Utilize Lean Manufacturing principles to increase productivity / throughput, reduce cost, and /or eliminate waste.
- Document methods for manufacturing and inspection
- Log evaluations into Engineering Notebooks
- Perform Installation Qualification, Operational qualification, Test method validations, Computer/ software validation and Performance qualification as part of Manufacturing or equipment validation activities.
- Perform time studies, process mapping, engineering testing, and DOE.
- Utilize statistics to evaluate, justify, and support experiments, analysis, and validations.
- Work with Mfg. Supervisor to analyze Manufacturing data, lead improvement projects that come from this analysis and group leader for Projects.
- Available to support as a Manufacturing Engineer to support manufacturing Production overtime if it is required.
- Develop, document (using AutoCAD / SolidWorks), and implement fixtures, jigs, tools, and gages.
- Initiate process, design, and documentation changes through the change management process.
- Perform Root Cause Investigations, develop and implement solutions.
- Work with Mfg. Supervisor to analyze Manufacturing data and lead improvement projects that come from this analysis. (if applicable)
