Major Job Duties & Responsibilities
Procurement & Purchasing Operations
Determine raw material order quantities and timing by analyzing on-hand, on-order, lead times, and historical demand/consumption.
Generate and manage purchase orders/agreements: review requisitions, issue POs, run PO reports, confirm deliveries, expedite as needed, and manage open PO exceptions/backorders.
Communicate purchase requirements and documentation needs (e.g., CoA/CoC) to suppliers; ensure alignment to schedule requirements.
Manage sourcing, planning, and purchasing of indirect materials and PPE required for manufacturing, maintenance, QC/QA, and housekeeping.
Resolve goods-inwards/receiving issues tied to POs, deliveries, and inventory discrepancies; coordinate with Receiving/Warehouse and suppliers.

Partner with global demand planning and network plants to align demand forecasts (direct and interplant); reconcile forecast vs. orders and highlight deviations.
Collaborate in daily/weekly cross-functional site management forums to ensure stakeholders are aligned to priorities and prepared to support commitments.
Support inventory planning with Finance: maintain inventory outlooks and working-capital plans consistent with the approved S&OP plan; identify excess/obsolete risks and actions.
Run the quarterly PFEP (Plan for Every Part) process to set and maintain the site stocking strategy for direct materials and packaging (criticality, lead times, MOQ/cadence, shelf-life/storage, and ordering parameters such as min/max and reorder points).
Partner with Operations, Quality, Warehouse/Logistics, and Finance to review PFEP outputs, implement approved parameter changes, maintain master data, and maintain documentation and an action log.
Support NPIs by establishing sourcing readiness, planning assumptions, and lead times and communicating impacts to stakeholders.
Process, Metrics & Continuous Improvement
Check and resolve ongoing issues in processes or systems using standard work expectations; implement tactical and operational goals set by the manager.
Implement process changes, operational metrics, and standards within the role's scope; deliver agreed metrics using Avantor Business Systems (ABS) tools.
Collaborate with Quality Assurance to convert or generate procedures into the current standard format (as assigned).

Assist Clayco in document management by entering and processing of subcontracts, purchase orders, letters of intent, change orders, safety audits, submittals, bid packages, entering punch-list items and updating the information thru the completion of the job and other paper work processing. Follow up with subcontractors and suppliers if executed documents are missing. Arrange meetings, travel, and ordering food if required, In addition; greet and direct visitors, workers, deliveries, and overall assistance to the entire project team and activities taking place on job site with whatever is needed to accomplish the company’s objectives. Acts on own initiative, with a minimal amount of supervision, and yet is a team player. This person is assigned to project teams and will need to be organized, focused and a quick learner.
The Specifics of the Role:
- Prepares correspondence (typing).
- Readily assists with whatever is needed to accomplish the company’s objectives. This includes typing, filing, copying, binding, scanning, and whatever else is necessary. This will also include document retrieval for auditing and litigation as needed.
- Retrieves, scans, transmits and electronically (or physically) distributes executed subcontracts, change orders and other documents associated with projects. This is an extremely important responsibility.
- May type contracts, change orders, letters of intent, meeting minutes, etc., and distribute as required. May also help obtain, assemble and assist with project closeout.
- May assist in entering punch list items and updating the information thru the completion of the job.
- Routinely will run reports and dunning letters on projects as required.
- Enter Daily Reports for Clayco and Subcontractors each day and follow up with Subcontractors on missing paperwork.
- Update rack drawing with the most current issues on a timely basis. This may be daily.

Sika St. Louis is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic. We are looking for someone with strong electrical and mechanical knowledge as well as welding equipment.
- Installs, repairs, and maintains electrical systems and components using schematics and/or wiring diagrams according to current National Electrical Code requirements.
- Builds, installs, repairs, and maintains plant mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using prints and system diagrams.
- Assists engineering in development of new control, power, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, and related documentation.
- Maintains plant chiller/water recovery system.
- Trains other personnel in operations and troubleshooting of equipment.
- Degree or Certifications related directly to industrial electrical & mechanical from an accredited technical school.
- Ability to install and modify new plant controls and sensor systems such as temperature controllers, proximity sensors, level sensors, etc.
- Troubleshoot PLC control programs for equipment and building systems.

The Specifics of the Role
- Reviewing, negotiating and advising business teams on subcontracts, purchase orders and related contracts, including:

- Required flow down of obligations under related prime contracts and/or subcontracts
- Experience and familiarity with construction prime contracts and flow down of obligations to material suppliers, vendors and subcontractors.
- Reviewing and negotiating ancillary contracts:
- Credit application terms and conditions
- Confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements
- Assisting with any subcontract and/or purchase order related claims, meet with project teams and assist with drafting and issuance of notices and related claims investigations, assisting with processing and resolution of disputes, mediations, and / or litigation, including collecting documents, organizing team response to such matters and reviewing and responding to third party subpoena’s and discovery requests.
- Assisting with subcontract compliance related matters as needed.
Requirements

- General understanding of subcontracts, purchase orders, and procurement contracts, including material and equipment supplier contracts
- Knowledge of process design, a plus
- Knowledge of AIA software and contract forms a plus
