Surgery - Cardiovascular Physician

We are seeking a Board-Certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon for an exciting locum opportunity in Erie, PA. This role offers a strong mix of complex surgical cases and a structured call schedule within an inpatient setting.

Erie

• Monday Friday: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
• Every other weekend: Call + rounding
• Call rotation:
  • Approx. 1:2 weeknight call
  • Weekend call includes follow-up weekday call rotation

• Inpatient

• Perform advanced cardiothoracic procedures, including:
  • CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting)
  • Aortic & Mitral Valve Repairs/Replacements
  • Ascending Aortic Root Procedures
  • TAVR
  • Lung resections (lobectomy)
  • Mediastinoscopy
• Robotic experience preferred (not required)

• Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery
• ACLS & BLS (AHA, in-person only)
• Strong preference for Pennsylvania licensed providers
• Minimum 2 weeks/month commitment

• EMR: Epic
• Credentialing timeframe: days (clean files preferred)

• Exposure to high-complexity cardiothoracic cases
• Structured and predictable call rotation
• Opportunity to work in a well-supported inpatient setting
