1. Developing and maintaining CMM programs using PC-DMIS software to support inspection and manufacturing processes.
2. Interpreting engineering drawings, CAD data, and GD&T to create accurate and efficient CMM programs.
3. Performing first-article, in-process, and final inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications.
4. Collaborating closely with the manufacturing and quality teams to identify and resolve potential issues in product quality or production efficiency.
5. Training and guiding operators and inspectors on the use of CMM equipment and software.
6. Documenting inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing re-work and waste and inputting data into quality database.
7. Participating in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing ideas and suggestions to enhance our processes and products.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a CMM Programmer, preferably in the manufacturing industry.

A growing insurance organization based in Hartford, CT is looking to add an experienced Underwriting Program Manager to oversee a dedicated block of Specific and Aggregate Stop Loss business. This is a key leadership role with ownership over pricing strategy and underwriting results, offering the opportunity to make a real impact within a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.

The position can be fully remote, with a hybrid option (2 days onsite) for candidates located within 50 miles of Hartford.

Compensation: $130,000–$160,000 base salary

Responsibilities: 

  • Evaluate case information and risk factors to develop competitive and sound pricing recommendations for both new and in-force Specific and Aggregate Stop Loss accounts, in alignment with underwriting guidelines.

  • Review large claim data in advance of clinical review to identify potential high-risk drivers and determine appropriate next steps.

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with sales partners, brokers, TPAs, underwriters, and other internal and external stakeholders.

  • Advise clients and partners on stop loss structures and plan design considerations to ensure appropriate risk protection.

  • Partner with the sales team throughout the quoting process to help position proposals competitively and strategically.

  • Exercise independent underwriting authority while ensuring complete and accurate file documentation.

  • Analyze submissions that fall outside standard guidelines and prepare well-supported exception recommendations for senior leadership review.

  • Present clear risk assessments, financial impact analysis, and strategic rationale to support executive decision-making.

  • Review, approve, or decline cases within authority, while offering guidance and alternative structuring recommendations to team members.

  • Oversee assigned program workflow to ensure timely turnaround and balanced distribution of work across underwriting staff.

  • Identify and evaluate key medical cost drivers impacting both new business and renewal accounts.

  • Provide input to senior leadership on enhancements to underwriting guidelines, policies, and best practices.

  • Mentor and develop underwriting team members to strengthen technical expertise, risk evaluation skills, and overall performance.

  • Deliver ongoing coaching and structured feedback to drive consistent service standards and productivity.

Qualifications:

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the bank's chief legal officer, advising the Board, executive management, and senior leadership on legal and regulatory matters.
  • Interpret and apply federal and state banking laws and regulations applicable to a Federal Reserve–regulated banking institution.
  • Advise on legal structures, documentation, and disclosures related to private credit, private equity, and alternative investment activities.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate investment-related agreements, offering materials, subscription documents, and vendor and service provider contracts.

  • Lead compliance oversight for regulatory examinations, audits, and remediation efforts.
  • Develop and deliver compliance training for employees, management, and the Board.
  • Partner with executive leadership to align legal and compliance frameworks with the bank's strategic objectives.
  • Build and scale the legal and compliance function, including future staffing and third-party oversight.
  • Provide clear, practical guidance that supports growth while maintaining strong regulatory discipline.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school; active bar membership in good standing.
  • 10+ years of progressive legal and compliance experience within banking, alternative investments, or regulated financial institutions.
  • Strong experience advising on private credit, private equity, or alternative investment structures for accredited investors.
  • Deep knowledge of U.S. banking regulations and Federal Reserve supervisory expectations.
  • Experience working directly with the Federal Reserve during examinations, chartering, or ongoing supervision.
  • Proven ability to build compliance programs in a de novo or growth-stage institution.

Position Summary:

Our Estate and Tax Planning Pillar is seeking an Attorney to support the design and implementation of estate and tax planning strategies including best in class estate plans. The Legal Associate will manage a diverse portfolio of planning projects and work closely with the Pillar Head on tax and planning matters.


Day-to-day responsibilities would include a combination of the following:

  • Work closely with the Pillar Head to develop and implement sophisticated estate and tax planning strategies for family members, trusts and other related entities
  • Liaise with outside counsel and other external advisors to develop and implement a diverse portfolio of estate and tax planning projects, including:
  • Preparing project charters, managing risk and providing regular status updates to Pillar leadership and stakeholders
  • Review documents prepared by outside counsel to ensure accuracy and alignment with client goals
  • Manage budgeting and related spend along with ensuring engagement letters are fully executed in coordination with Legal Pillar
  • Ensure efficient and effective project management tools and practices are deployed
  • Support the implementation of strategies
  • Ensure that each family member has executed estate planning documents that are updated on a regular cadence or more frequently, if needed
  • Lead the administration of any estate planning strategies, such as annual gifts, GRATs and other wealth transfer techniques, and the administration of any estates, including coordination with Trust pillar, trustees, CPAs, attorneys and financial advisors
  • Manage the planning needed to incorporate life events, including births and marriages
  • Serve on cross-disciplinary teams for special projects, bridging tax planning, tax compliance, finance and accounting, and other business considerations
  • Manage library of summaries of significant estate documents, entities or related structures
  • Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations; advise internal teams of potential impact and strategic changes needed to respond to changes


Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and admitted to practice law in one or more states and in good standing
  • At least 5+ years of experience in sophisticated estate and tax planning, including strategy for ultra-high net worth individuals, gained in a law firm and/or related environment
  • Strong understanding of estate, gift and income tax principles, trust law, and entity structures
  • Experience drafting complex wills and trusts, preparation of client presentations, tax calculations and analysis and administration of estates from probate through closing
  • Ability to understand complex legal frameworks, synthesize them for clients and recommend resulting planning strategies
  • Exposure to cross-border planning preferred
  • Effective at managing outside counsel, including specialized and highly sophisticated providers
  • Strong project management experience providing oversight and management of multiple medium-sized projects; critical thinking; strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Collaborative and adaptable team player with a client service mindset


Compensation:

Compensation for the role includes a competitive salary in the range from $300,000 -$385,000 (inclusive of a merit-based bonus, dependent on years of experience, level of education obtained, as well as applicable skillset) and an excellent benefits package, including a comprehensive employer paid medical plan and generous employer match for 401k.
