The Unit Lead plays a critical role in advancing Honda’s 2050 vision of net zero CO₂ emissions, 100% utilization of carbonfree energy, and 100% use of sustainable materials by forging strategic partnerships and alliances that drive growth, innovation, and value creation. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Lead or support multiple partnership projects by managing scope, prioritizing daily tasks, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring timely delivery of milestones. Oversee escalation processes and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers to guarantee smooth execution.
  • Develop structured frameworks for partnership intake, evaluation, and approval to ensure consistency, transparency, and alignment with business priorities. Establish clear processes, documentation standards, and feedback loops to continuously improve efficiency and effectiveness in partnership management
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify internal business needs and align partnership strategies with regional and global objectives. Analyze workflows, identify gaps, and drive cross-functional engagement to enhance business performance and support Honda’s strategic goals
  • Support with negotiations to create mutually beneficial agreements that reflect strategic priorities. Oversee contract creation, execution, and compliance monitoring, ensuring terms and expectations are clearly defined. Provide regular performance and impact reports to senior management.
  • Monitor and evaluate partnership effectiveness using key performance indicators. Recommend and implement adjustments to optimize outcomes and maximize value creation for the organization.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS in Business, Economics, Marketing, Finance or equivalent work experience.
  • MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, partnerships or finance. Proven track record in partnership management or business development, preferably within the automotive or tech industries.
  • 3 years of experience in mergers & acquisitions (M&A) and leading a project team.
  • Experience in developing partnership channels, working cross functionaly with legal, finance, and marketing.
  • Knowledge in energy management related to V2X, V1G, Hydrogen, Battery Life Cycle or related to Electric Vehicles and/or Sustainability areas.
  • Experience with complex project development.
  • Strong negotiations and contract management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Capable of overseeing, analyzing and reviewing complex contracts, agreements and detailed scope of work.

The Role

Do you have over a decade of experience managing complex construction projects? Are you ready to lead multimillion-dollar educational facility builds from the ground up?

PMCS Group is looking for an experienced  Construction Project Manager / Owner's Authorized Representative I (OAR I). As a OAR 1, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating every phase of assigned construction projects—from planning and bidding to execution and close-out. You’ll work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and public agencies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and up to the District's high standards.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage all project phases: pre-construction, bid and award, construction, and close-out


  • Review and provide feedback on pre-construction documents


  • Prepare and deliver regular project status reports to upper management


  • Coordinate with public agencies to ensure compliance during all project stages


  • Monitor project budgets and schedules; ensure accurate monthly tracking


  • Supervise daily contractor activities and review construction schedules


  • Respond to contractor inquiries and review change orders and submittals


  • Oversee payments and contractual obligations for all project participants


  • Coordinate delivery of fixtures, furniture, and equipment

Essential Duties Supports the Chief Compliance Officer and the Bank in evolving and strengthening the compliance program in all areas of the program and where support is needed.

Monitors federal and state banking laws, regulations and compliance topics to provide support and assistance to the key business stakeholders to assess applicability and impact, so that the Bank can proactively address requirements.

Coordinates the creation, review, and implementation of policies and procedures resulting from new laws and regulations and supports the Bank’s policy governance and change management process.

Proactively provides advice and guidance to business unit management on key compliance topics related to interpretation of regulations, new or changes to products and services, review of policies and procedures, remedial actions for self-identified issues and/or compliance testing and monitoring, and breach of policy or regulations.

Responsible for developing periodic written compliance reports to share with the Board, executives and business unit management regarding key compliance issues identified.

Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify remediation plans for noncompliance situations and monitoring for completion Stays abreast of changes in banking laws and regulations, industry and regulatory trends, and best practices and keeping peers and business partners informed of relevant information.

Reviews customer complaints to assess compliance with federal regulations and laws and conducts root cause analysis.

This role is to support management and to enhance the Bank’s compliance management system that aligns to the Bank’s ERM standards and includes risk assessments on key regulations, compliance monitoring and testing, training to business units, marketing and disclosure review, policy and procedure management, complaints program, internal and external reporting, change management, breach management, and exam management.

While the job description of this role is the primary function, there may be other compliance areas that may require additional oversight as deemed necessary by the Chief Compliance Officer, and the individual must have experience or capability to learn and obtain the expertise to support the activities required.

Complies with all State and Federal Banking regulatory requirements, including but not limited to: BSA, Anti-Money Laundering OFAC, CIP, Financial Elder Abuse Reporting, Sexual Harassment, Information Security and privacy requirements.

This position will elevate suspicious activity to supervisory staff and/or BSA department.

Completes compliance and other technical training workshops as assigned.
