Program Manager - Power Distribution
Location: Charlotte, NC (Remote)

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY:
As the Program Manager, you will oversee program execution from start to finish, providing strategic direction, mentorship to project managers, and exceptional client relationship management. This is not an Information Technology-related position. If you do not have experience managing power distribution engineering/design projects, you will likely not be considered for the position.
Note: This position can work remotely, but new hires will be required to come to our headquarters in Perrysburg, OH, for an initial 2-week in-person paid orientation and training period.
Responsibilities:
Project Leadership:
· Responsible for measuring and developing the project manager's abilities and effectiveness through KPI's and setting core competencies in accordance with corporate governance.
· Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project implementation and customer satisfaction.
· Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance the company's visibility.
· Serve as a mentor and coach to other project managers, offering guidance and support.
Program Planning and Strategy:
· Oversees project managers in the delivery of all program-related projects in accordance with the contractual agreement, scope, schedule, and budget of the project.
· Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of all phases of projects within the designated program in accordance with project management processes, policies, guidelines, and corporate governance.
· Develop and monitor high-level project workflows, validate project scopes, and collaborate on project priorities.
· Oversees the creation of proposals, kickoff meetings, and discovery calls.
Program Monitoring and Reporting:
· Prepare, review, and approve project change orders and/or correction actions in collaboration with the client, Project Engineer(s), and Operations Manager.
· Provide program cost forecasting over the life of the project or program.
Program Closure:
· Ensure the successful closure of the program, including finalizing all program activities, obtaining acceptance from stakeholders, and conducting post-program evaluations.
· Document lessons learned and share best practices with the organization.
Communication:
· Maintain clear and consistent communication with program stakeholders, including executive leadership, project managers, and cross-functional teams.
· Provide regular program updates to management and stakeholders.
· Resolve conflicts and facilitate effective communication within the program team.
· Liaises between project members, cross-functional teams, external vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure deliverables, requirements, schedules, cost, and meeting plans are communicated.
· Accountable for contractual correspondence and communication with all stakeholders, including identification and reporting of risks, liabilities, and opportunities.
Risk Management:
· Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project success and develop risk mitigation plans and contingency strategies. Monitor and manage risks throughout the project life cycle.
Budget Management:
· Manage Program level P&L reporting.
Customer/Client Relationship Management:
· Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and providing exceptional service.
· Build relationships with Sr. Leadership within the customer organization.
· Build an understanding of the customer’s organizational structure and decision-making process.
· Identify and understand client challenges, propose solutions, and tailor product/service offerings accordingly.
· Conduct thorough market research to stay informed about industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
· Lead Program update calls and in-person meetings with external clients.
· Monitor and manage expectations of communication between staff and external clients.
· Develop and execute a strategic plan to identify and target new business opportunities in the market.
· Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales strategies, set targets, and achieve revenue goals.
· Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential customers.
· Negotiate contracts and terms of agreements with clients, ensuring a win-win outcome for both parties.

Requirements:
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

About the Role
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating the movement of materials, products, and resources within and outside the manufacturing plant. This role ensures that all logistical operations run smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and industry regulations including both the delivery and receipt of goods. The Logistics Coordinator plays a key role in supporting production schedules, managing inventory, and ensuring timely deliveries to customers and our service department.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensure timely delivery of raw materials and finished goods, and the safe and successful loading/unloading of trucks.
- Negotiate with carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics service providers to secure cost-effective and reliable transportation and border services.

The Specifics of the Role
- Responsible for the organization and direction of all on-site construction related activities and the primary contact for all project field activities.

- Works with the project management team to participate in all job-site's contractual activities. Participates in contracts and subcontracts negotiations.
- Participates in the development and implementation of a training program to ensure subordinate personnel receives progressive training to enable them to assume additional responsibilities and is responsible for overall development of construction training and any testing as required.
- Works with Clayco’s safety team in the development of the project safety program and ensures strict adherence to Company, federal, state, and local safety regulations.
- Ensures the implementation of an effective community relations plan for the site.
- Ensures required permits and licenses are in place prior to the start of the affected work at site.
- Responsible and accountable for construction license reporting to include construction Logbook entries and required notifications for permit closure.
- Partners with the project management team for the implementation of cost savings methodologies in the Construction organization and the promotion of other continuous improvement processes.
- Ensures development and execution of strategies and plans for project automation, environmental compliance, safety, site surveying, non-manual staffing, contracting, labor strategy, construction execution, and job-site work rules.
- Plans and establishes procedures to ensure construction operations meet engineering designs and specifications.
- Coordinate with the Field Operations Manager for all assignment of Superintendent and Foreman positions.
- Support Superintendent(s) throughout the duration of the job.
- Review project schedules with Superintendents/Foreman.
- Document project field issues that impact budget, quality, or schedule, and provide to the project management team.
- Ensure subcontractor requests for field issues that impact budget, quality, or schedule are documented and are forwarded to the project management team.
- Follow guidelines of the Project Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) program written for the job site.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, related technical degree or relevant work experience in lieu of education.
- 20-25 years of relevant experience, with progressive responsibility and technical knowledge both scope and value of project.
- Technical knowledge and experience of relevant construction methods and systems including:
- Utility relocates and slope stability works.
- Full understanding of multiple mission critical platforms.
- Full understanding and working knowledge of high voltage, medium voltage, and low voltage systems. General understanding of BMS and EPMS Systems.
- Full understanding and coordination of Utility relocations, underground medium voltage systems, and BIM modeling coordination of ALL utilities both above and below ground.
- Full understanding and managing of all LOTO procedure's and FOD inspections for all systems.
- Ability to research and understand local codes and jurisdictional requirements for the project.
- Knowledge of project-specific environmental compliance requirements.
- Experience with successful interface management on Data Center/Mission Critical projects.

What will you do?
- Lead the end-to-end mechanical design and engineering of hyperscale Data Center Infrastructure (DCI) systems, including liquid-cooled rack assemblies, CDUs, manifolds, enclosures, structural frames, and associated hydronic piping systems.
- Serve as the technical authority for single-phase and two-phase liquid cooling architectures, including primary and secondary loop design, in-rack distribution, and system integration within hyperscale data center environments.
- Define and validate operational performance requirements for liquid-cooled infrastructure, including pressure ratings, hydrostatic limits, temperature ranges, flow rates and uniformity, thermal expansion, durability, and serviceability.

How will you make an impact?
We are looking for a Principal Thermal Rack Engineer within the Intelligent Infrastructure Segment to drive advanced cooling solutions for high-performance computing systems. This role involves incorporating thermal components such as direct liquid cooling (DLC) systems, coolant distribution units (CDUs), and manifolds into network and server racks (EIA 19” and ORv3). You will leverage CFD tools to perform rack and system-level thermal and fluid analysis, ensuring optimal flow distribution, pressure drop, and temperature performance. Analyzes key servicing metrics to identify and implement opportunities for improvement in service process quality, cost, or product reliability.

Coordinates information flow between corporate and local/regional teams.

Owns Corrective and Preventive Actions related to the product(s) core team(s) supported, using sound root cause analysis.

May represent Technical Services on new product development and/or lifecycle management core teams.

May independently plan, schedule and lead cross-functional teams in detailed phases of the engineering work in a project.

May approve the work of lower level engineers; may supervise other engineers or technicians Minimum Qualifications: 1.
Must be well versed in core engineering disciplines (e.g.
mechanical, electrical, software, systems engineering).

Highly motivated self-starter who is able to work with minimal supervision.
3.
Must have good interpersonal and oral/written communication skills, good time management, and be capable of analyzing and solving technical problems through innovative thought and application of sound engineering principles and root cause analysis.
4.
Experience with change control methodologies and configuration management principles is a plus.
5.
Experience with test engineering and/or reliability engineering principles is a plus.
6.
Ability to exercise independent judgment and draw conclusions based on available information.
7.
Good understanding of GMP and quality system requirements.
Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree in a core engineering discipline (mechanical, electrical, software, systems, or mfg/process engineering) plus 3-5 years of experience.
Medical device experience or other regulated industry experience preferred.
Experience in the use of Lean Six Sigma tools highly desirable.
