The Epicor Software Developer’s role is to partner with Epicor system users and IT team members to drive technical solutions. The position is responsible for all phases of the solution lifecycle process, from collecting business requirements through designing, coding, testing, and implementing technical solutions. Experience with Epicor ERP application products is important because Epicor ERP, Epicor Electronic Commerce, DocStar ECM, Quick Ship, and Epicor Data Analytics are all used. The Epicor environment at our company supports multi-plant, custom manufacturing business processes, and experience in a similar business environment is preferred. This position responds daily to requests from the entire company Epicor user community as change requests or issues are reported through the service desk ticketing system.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Understand overall software applications architecture and how to extract and translate logic from applications for solution analysis.
- Support Epicor with heavy emphasis on C# and SQL, BPM, BAQ, and use of other ICE tools.
- Develop and modify dashboards, BAQ and SSRS reports, report styles and RDD’s.
- Support daily production operations, review completion status of scheduled jobs, identify printing issues as they are reported, and monitor SFTP data interfaces.
- Watch for opportunities to recommend improvements using existing applications and organization best practices.
- Assist with server and Internet Information Services (IIS) administration for website and application pool connectivity.
- Collaborate with Epicor user base to understand their needs and fulfill their requests.
