Job Summary:
A growing regional retail organization is seeking a Retail Safety Manager to oversee and strengthen safety practices across multiple store locations and corporate functions. This role is responsible for building and maintaining a proactive safety culture by developing preventative programs, delivering training, and promoting accountability for workplace safety throughout the organization.

Requirements:

• Several years of professional experience in workplace safety, risk management, or environmental health roles, preferably within fast-paced, multi-location operational environments.

• Industry-recognized safety credentials or training (such as nationally recognized safety certifications or regulatory training programs) are highly valued.

• Working knowledge of workplace safety regulations, hazard prevention practices, and general occupational health standards.

• Familiarity with employee injury management processes and workplace incident reporting procedures.

• Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and guide safety initiatives through effective communication and influence.

Reports to: GM/VP of Jergens

Responsibilities:

• Has a thorough understanding of our company’s policies, procedures, products and services and capabilities to serve our customers. Serves as a resource and provides leadership to less experienced product managers on complex issues.

• Serves as a mentor by providing training and guidance to less experienced product managers.

• Ensure that the product and marketing efforts support the company’s overall strategy and goals.

• Works with sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.

• Defines the product strategy and sales roadmap.

• Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities.

• Be an expert with respect to competition.

• Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product.

• Perform product demos to customers.

• Set pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals.

• Deliver a monthly revenue forecast.

• Develop sales tools and demo tools for exhibitions.

• Propose an overall budget to ensure success.

• Develop product training programs for internal and external use.

• Train the sales force at quarterly sales meetings.

• Brief press and analysts and go on press tours.

• Act as a leader within the company.

• Develop advertising strategy to increase brand and product recognition.

• Participate in developing, setting-up and working trade shows.

• Function as a technical resource for inside and outside sales.

• Travel a minimum of once per quarter to find new and potential customers and to meet with, to plan, measure performance, & train international staff.

Responsibilities:

• High school education with at least some college education in a related field is required. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred. Has demonstrated the willingness to pursue appropriate professional certifications and continuing education. Has the

necessary training to be proficient in the position.

• Has five or more years of experience with the company fully meeting the expectations of a product manager and/or has demonstrated a level of performance and leadership to qualify for the Group Sales Manager position.

Dizario Search is partnered with a privately held manufacturing company in Cleveland that needs a Director of Finance to step in and make an impact. This is a hands-on leadership position with full oversight of Finance, Accounting, IT, Payroll, and Purchasing, along with a seat at the executive table driving key business decisions and strategic initiatives.

The ideal candidate is someone who can operate both strategically and in the weeds, and who is comfortable in a fast-moving, accountability-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all financial functions including accounting, FP&A, payroll, and purchasing, ensuring accuracy, controls, and timely reporting
• Partner with the executive team to drive strategic planning, forecasting, and overall business performance
• Own budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to support short- and long-term growth initiatives
• Oversee cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships
• Drive operational efficiency and cost control initiatives across the business
• Partner closely with engineering and operations teams to evaluate, prioritize, and execute capital projects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA and/or CPA strongly preferred)
• 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, with experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proven experience in a senior finance role (VP, Director, or Controller ready to step up) within a privately held or closely held company
• Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory, and manufacturing operations
• Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in a lean, fast-paced environment
• Experience partnering with executive leadership and influencing business decisions

What You Will Do:

• Oversee indirect tax (sales and use, excise, and personal property tax) for a segment of our business
• Lead audits, reverse audits, and settlement negotiations
• Support tax planning and research for business operations
• Administer incentive programs for capital investments
• Deliver internal training on tax impacts of purchases and sales
• Perform detailed tax research
• Develop indirect tax staff

Skills and Experience Needed:

• Bachelor’s degree in business (accounting, finance, etc.) from an accredited college or university
• Minimum 5 years of experience in U.S. indirect tax
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience preferred (people leadership, project leadership, team lead, etc)
• Ability to handle large return volume and meet all filing deadlines

• Planning, prioritizing, assigning, supervising, reviewing and participating in all tasks related to the maintenance of PLCs, automated equipment and facility maintenance in Solon.

• Prepares work schedules, assigns work and oversees the work product while minimizing overtime and call-in hours. Monitors operating and outage reports to ensure performance targets are met.

• Leads process documentation and development of policies and procedures

• Delivers day-to-day operational objectives through the supervision of a team of skilled maintenance technicians and/or reliability engineers. Trains, coaches, counsels and manages performance of direct reports.

• Coordinates training sessions in facility maintenance, safety procedures, and methods, enforces sound safety and housekeeping practices

• Responsibly handles emergency situations or after-hours calls for repair and maintenance

• Develops and maintains a preventative maintenance schedule program for applicable equipment and machinery.

• Manages the program for inspection of mechanical integrity, change control, fire suppression and environmental control.

• Arranges for and manages appropriate third-party contractor support as needed.

• Interacts with customers, technicians and vendors to understand and communicate process specifications with engineering and operations.

• Provide operational support by managing the installation, start-up and validation of new process equipment and systems.

• Schedules and assists in developing plans for the installation, movement, repair of equipment and utilities within the building.

• Monitors spending to ensure operating within that budget with regard to the expenses for maintenance supplies, operating supplies, tools and personnel.

• Manages the maintenance of the building, grounds, equipment, and plant facilities, including elevators and fire alarms.

• Responsible for routine manufacturing equipment set-ups and changes/purchases as required.

• Implements and maintains appropriate process controls and records consistent with cGMP and ISO regulations.

• Order, re-stock and maintain the inventory of spare parts, consumables, tools and miscellaneous supplies. Maintain other department equipment as needed.

• Develops corrective/preventive action plans as prompted by internal and external quality data.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or its equivalent is required.

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in manual and automatic gas tungsten arc and/or shield arc welding, completion of an accredited training program will be considered.
• Brazing and soldiering skills, preferred.
• If necessary, be able to demonstrate ability to perform above skills on a test piece.
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, procedures, and work instructions.
• Possess skills necessary to maintain accurate documentation.
• Ability to obtain and maintain all applicable written and operation examinations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain all applicable certifications.
• Possess necessary personal tools.
• Must be willing and available to work any shift (2nd shift: 3pm - 11pm, 3rd shift: 11pm - 7am).
