- Responsible and accountable for producing quality work to prescribed standards, with a focus on continuous improvement to meet customer commitments on schedule and within budget.

- Know, qualify and perform the following: MIG: carbon steels, stainless steel, and aluminum and combination; TIG: carbon steels, stainless steel, aluminum, and combination
- Perform material preparation, open set-up and fit to meet process requirements proficiently in all required operations
- Read blueprints, weld symbols and NDE symbols and interpret acceptance criteria
- Coordinate effective communication regarding production processes with other departments such as Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Sales
- Accurately perform visual inspection of weldments to confirm compliance to various codes and standards
- Perform daily and weekly maintenance on all equipment
- Share technical requirements, techniques, safety information, etc. with peers
- If required, perform all aspects of inspection: in-process, final and source; allocate partial points - 3 points in-process - 3 points final - 4 points source
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 5 years of experience in specialty area e.g. welding, tool making

The Lead Estimator accurately estimates the cost, resources, and labor needed to complete projects within the assigned Business Unit. Leads and mentors
Essential Functions
- Analyzes and properly vets all bid opportunities to ensure viability. Reviews the bid calendar and schedules bid reviews
- Attends pre-bid meetings and job walks, ensuring sufficient understanding of the job scope
- Reads and interprets drawings, specifications, and addenda accurately.
- Review historical production rates, material pricing, and equipment utilization.
- Applies all collected information to the job bid to ensure accuracy
- Intentionally collects information through available channels and applies it to the bidding process to deliver an accurate, well-organized, detailed, and timely bid
- Performs project takeoffs using BlueBeam
- Recommends profitability for estimated projects
- Presents bids to customers
- Communicate effectively with key stakeholders (including Project Managers, Field Operations, and Customers) regarding the bid. Supports project handoff to the assigned Project Manager
- operations, and customers
- Provides excellent client service and encourages growth and repeat business by establishing and maintaining successful business relationships

The Graduate Nurse Expedition Program at Barnes-Jewish Hospital is a unique, rotational opportunity designed for newly graduated nurses who are exploring which nursing specialty best fits their long-term career goals. This program allows graduate nurses to gain hands-on experience across multiple specialty medical-surgical units during their first year of practice, providing valuable exposure, skill development, and career clarity.
The Expedition Program is only offered at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and is the only program of its kind within the BJC HealthCare organization.
Program Structure:
- Program will span the first year of employment post-graduation with three different unit rotations for four-months each.
- Participants will be paired 1:1 with a preceptor and utilize the 12 week graduate nurse onboarding pathway during their first rotation.
- Rotations occur across specialty med/surg units
- Program is designed to support progrssional growth, confidence, and informed specialty selection
**Please note: This program does not offer rotations to Women and Infants, ICU, OR or ED floors.**
Qualifications:
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a Spring 2026 completion date
• Eligible for Graduate Nurse status with plans to obtain RN licensure per Missouri requirements
• Strong interest in exploring multiple specialty medical-surgical areas
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical-thinking skills
• Willingness to rotate units every four months during the first year of employment

Role Purpose
The Graduate Nurse provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning implementation, and evaluation within the guidelines of the standards of nursing care after completing a nursing program and before licensure. Will be required to obtain licensure within 90 days of graduation from an accredited school of nursing to remain employed in a HSO in the state of Missouri.
Responsibilities
- Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment. Educates patients and their families on how to manage their illness or injury, including post treatment home care needs and medication administration.
- Uses critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate patient's physical, psychosocial and emotional needs.

MHS is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. In this unique and life-changing career, couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students living in the home. Flex Houseparents play a vital role in creating a structured, family-like environment that fosters students’ academic, emotional, and social development so they can reach their full potential.
Responsibilities include:
Providing daily supervision and mentorship
Managing household routines and student schedules
Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
Driving students to activities, as well as planning and actively engaging in developmental and recreational activities with students
Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
Overseeing budgeting and household reporting
Upon hire, Flex Houseparents initially support various student homes and follow a working schedule of nine consecutive days on duty, followed by three days off.
On weekdays, houseparents have unscheduled time while students are in school. Flex Houseparents eventually transition into a Placed Houseparent role, where they live and work with the same group of students in their own student home.

Salary: $44,768.00 per person (approximately $168,000 total compensation per couple, including free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more)

Experience working or volunteering with youth
This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
Both spouses must be age 27 or older
No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
Pet limitations: only fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
High school diploma or GED required
Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students
