- Open Dates Board Certified EM Physician Needed for Dynamic Michigan Emergency Department We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician for an onsite Locum Tenens assignment near Tawas City, Michigan.

This opportunity involves providing exceptional care in a dynamic, high-volume Emergency Department (ED) environment with a strong support structure and no on-call requirements.

Shift Details & Workload: Shifts: Varied 10- and 12-hour shifts, including weekends (e.g., 0600-1600, 0900-2100, 1400-0000, 2

Volume: Approximately 80 patients per day, averaging 1.8 patients per hour per physician.

Support: 12-hour Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support and full ED technical staff.

Key Responsibilities & Procedures: Provide comprehensive emergency medical services to patients of all ages.

Perform standard ED procedures (suturing, orthopedic care for non-displaced fractures, psychiatric case management).

Execute advanced procedures including airway management, central and arterial line placement, and lumbar puncture.

Manage acute conditions, including ventilation and complex volume/blood pressure issues.

Facility & Requirements: EHR: Cerner.

Support: Full on-site radiology and laboratory services.

Licensure: Must hold a valid Michigan state medical license.

Billing Note: Providers must use the DocTime system for clocking in/out (reverse billing).
