The Performance Marketing Manager’s primary responsibility is to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth for The Hair Shop through paid media channels. - Paid Channel Management: Own day-to-day management of Paid Social (Facebook, IG, TikTok) and Paid Search (Google, YouTube, Shopping) through agency collaboration, ensuring campaigns and allocation of budget align with business goals.
- Agency Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for third party agencies, setting strategy, approving plans, reviewing performance, and holding partners accountable to KPIs.
- Performance Optimization: Analyze performance data and guide ongoing optimization to improve ROAS, CAC, CVR, AOV, and LTV through structured testing and iterations.
- Affiliate Marketing: Manage affiliate and partnership-based programs including recruitment strategy, commission structures, and revenue optimization.

Overview
The Operations Manager, North America will support the Director of Operations in overseeing end-to-end operational execution across 3PL management, logistics, e-commerce fulfillment, and inventory operations. This role is responsible for ensuring scalable, efficient, and accurate operational processes that support wholesale, direct-to-consumer (DTC), and omnichannel distribution across the North American region.
The Operations Manager will act as a key operational leader coordinating cross-functional execution between logistics partners, internal teams, and international stakeholders to maintain service levels, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate brings 7–10 years of experience in retail, fashion, or e-commerce operations, with strong experience managing 3PL partners, fulfillment operations, logistics flows, and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities
3PL & Fulfillment Operations
Operations & 3PL Management
- Serve as the operational lead supporting the Director of Operations across all North American fulfillment and logistics initiatives.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, ensuring service-level adherence, operational performance, and cost efficiency
- Oversee daily operational execution across inbound receiving, outbound fulfillment, and reverse logistics
- Monitor and enforce SLAs, KPIs, and operational performance metrics across all fulfillment partners.
- Lead operational issue resolution, including shipment delays, chargebacks, fulfillment discrepancies, and root cause analysis.
- Support 3PL onboarding, operational transitions, RFP processes, and contract implementation.
- Identify opportunities to optimize operational workflows, improve service levels, and reduce operational costs.
Inventory Management & Control
- Manage inventory accuracy and integrity across warehouses, stores (if applicable), and systems.
- Oversee inventory reconciliation processes, cycle counts, physical inventories, and shrink investigation.
- Partner with Planning, Merchandising, and Finance to support inventory forecasting, allocation, and replenishment strategies.
- Ensure clean inventory flow from PO receipt through fulfillment, transfers, and returns.
- Identify and implement process improvements to reduce aged inventory, excess stock, and operational inefficiencies.
Operations
- Coordinate domestic and international logistics operations supporting inbound inventory flow and outbound fulfillment.
- Partner with logistics providers to manage transportation timelines, freight coordination, and cross-border shipments.
- Monitor inbound shipment visibility and ensure accurate inventory flow from supplier through warehouse receipt.
- Collaborate with global teams to align operational execution across regions.
Systems, Process & Reporting
- Serve as a key operational user and subject-matter expert for OMS, WMS, ERP, and inventory systems.
- Support system enhancements, testing, integrations, and documentation related to fulfillment and inventory workflows.
- Develop and maintain operational SOPs, dashboards, and reporting to provide visibility into performance and risks.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on scalability, cost efficiency, and customer experience.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Act as a trusted thought partner to the Director of Operations, providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Overseeing 3PL operations

- Manage and/or mentor junior operations team members as the organization scales.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners including Merchandising, Planning, Finance, CX, E-commerce, and Wholesale Operations.

Qualifications & Experience
7–10 years of progressive operations experience within fashion retail, apparel, or consumer goods.
Direct experience managing 3PL partners and omnichannel fulfillment operations.
Strong background in inventory management, controls, and reconciliation in a multi-channel environment.
Proven experience supporting DTC e-commerce operations at scale.
Proficiency with OMS, WMS, and ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Manhattan, or similar preferred).
Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills; experience with BI or reporting tools a plus.
Strong analytical, organizational, and project management capabilities.

You'll join our Ecommerce team — working side by side with our Digital Media specialists who manage paid media across other channels. Together, you're one team driving performance, sharing learnings, and scaling revenue. You'll own TikTok Shop ads hands-on while also serving as the strategic lead managing external affiliate agency partnerships — setting targets, holding partners accountable, and continuously optimizing toward profitable growth.

Tiktok Shop Affiliate Program
Serve as the primary point of contact for our affiliate agency partners, ensuring goals, priorities, and timelines are clearly defined and consistently met.
- Lead the affiliate program strategy in partnership with the agency — ensuring every campaign is performance-focused, tied to measurable ecommerce outcomes, and aligned with acquisition goals.
- Provide strategic direction to the agency on partner selection, commission structures, optimization priorities, and growth opportunities while overseeing day-to-day execution.
- Identify and evaluate new affiliate partners in collaboration with the agency to expand reach, diversify the creator base, and improve overall program ROAS.
- Own the full affiliate budget tracking and invoicing process, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and alignment with financial targets.

Tiktok Shop Paid ads-Hands-On Execution&Strategy
- Build our TikTok Shop ads program from the ground up — from initial implementation through to a scalable, data-informed paid strategy within TikTok Ads Manager.
- Own end-to-end campaign management: campaign structure, ad set configuration, creative deployment, budget allocation, and performance optimization against acquisition and ROAS targets.
- Conduct deep audience research to build and refine prospecting and retargeting segments; continuously test and optimize audience strategies to improve conversion efficiency.
- Design and execute A/B and multivariate tests across creative, audience, and bidding variables to systematically improve ad performance.
- Manage TikTok Shop's Commerce Center operations — including product catalog setup, inventory feed accuracy, data feed troubleshooting, and ongoing catalog health monitoring.
- Set and own clear KPIs: customer acquisition cost (CAC), return on ad spend (ROAS), conversion rate, and contribution to overall E-commerce revenue.

What We're Looking For
- Must have completed a 4-year BA/BS degree in a related field such as Data Science, Marketing, Economics, Business Administration, Statistics, etc.
- Must have proficiency in GA4/Google Analytics 4
- Must be proficient at Excel for performance analysis (pivot tables, formula building, etc)
- 1–3+ years in performance marketing, affiliate management, or paid social — ideally in a retail or E-commerce environment.
- Proven experience managing external agency relationships — setting expectations, reviewing performance, and driving accountability against hard targets.
- Strong analytical skills with fluency in ecommerce KPIs: ROAS, CAC, LTV, AOV, conversion rate, and contribution margin.
- Experience with affiliate marketing platforms and programs (e.g., TikTok Shop affiliate, Impact, ShareASale, CJ, Rakuten, or similar).
- A testing mindset — you instinctively A/B test, iterate, and optimize rather than set-and-forget.
- Excellent communication skills — you can translate performance data into clear insights for leadership and cross-functional partners.
- Self-starter mentality who can build processes from scratch and thrive in a fast-moving ecommerce environment.
- Hands-on experience with TikTok Ads Manager (strongly preferred) or comparable paid social platforms (Meta, Google) with a willingness to specialize in TikTok.
