The International Application Engineer I's duties and responsibilities lead to an overall understanding of fundamental activities of factory sales support to DeZURIK direct and independent sales channels. This role prepares list price quotations for non-catalog items, outsourced accessories, and special processing requirements based on costs derived from a variety of internal and external sources. It requires the ability to articulate commercial and technical requirements and communicate in a clear format that will allow the product to be quoted to the end user. Advancement requires understanding of DeZURIK business system, order entry process, products, sales channel support, and factory capabilities to achieve an efficient workflow with acceptable profit margins. This position will focus on International support.
This position is currently eligible for DeZURIK's hybrid work schedule.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
- Ability to interface well with DeZURIK sales channels, suppliers, internal departments, and other applicable business contacts.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines on a consistent basis.
- Become proficient in DeZURIK products, international industry standards, business system, manufacturing capabilities and internal tools to make accurate cost estimates for standard and non-standard products.
- Accurately determine costs and develop list price quotations for all non-standard accessories, testing requirements, materials, and documentation as required by requests for quotation.
- Develop basic market and product knowledge through hands-on training, websites/webinars, internal training, engineering documentation and other applicable references.
- Review of incoming production and hold for approval orders while providing order clarification prior to order entry on the plant Operations group.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline.
- No experience required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Demonstrated self-motivation, commitment to task, problem solving, and customer orientation required.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail - commercial & technical.
- Ability to understand relevant international industry standards and specifications.
- Computer literacy for preparing spread sheets.
- A general understanding of DeZURIK's Export Management System (EMS) manual.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Physical demands are typical of an office position including extended periods of sitting, extensive use of a personal computer and telephone.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Normal manufacturing and office environment. When working occasionally in some shop areas, personal protection equipment (PPE) will be recommended and/or required (safety shoes, safety glasses w/side shields, hearing protection, face shield, gloves, apron and boots). Stress may result from workload and meeting schedules. Must have the ability to support extended business hours to meet customer business needs.

Provide support during society engagements, facilitating the exchange of scientific information in close collaboration with CMA leadership and the broader clinical affairs interventional team.

Manage utilization of HCPs in accordance with Teleflex IPPs. Coordinate efforts between cross-functional partners, including Medical Affairs, Global Research & Scientific Services, marketing, and R&D. Coordinate, participate, and manage educational, scientific activities at identified local, regional, and national trade shows/exhibitions. Serve as part of the CMA clinical expert team on product applications and troubleshooting when interfacing with SBU Leadership, Clinical Sales Specialists, and Teleflex team members. Participate as a clinical expert on project teams, committees, and in meetings with various corporate departments to provide guidance as to the clinical perspectives for the Coronary/Structural franchise. Build and support infrastructure for speaker programs supporting Teleflex Academy, webinars, training content, and programs. Coordinate and participate in content development and review of education material as needed by IA BU or CMA. Manage all business-associated administrative tasks and responsibilities to support job-related activities, to include strict adherence to the Teleflex Medical T&E policies and procedures, timely filing of required and/or requested reports, and documentation of activities via approved documents and forms. Adhere to applicable Teleflex IPPs, Teleflex Code of Ethics, and all Company policies, rules, procedures, and housekeeping standards.
Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in clinical, biology, health sciences, or engineering. Procedural experience within Interventional Cardiology and/or Structural Heart Possess a minimum of five years' clinical exposure in the medical field in the Cardiology environment. Medical Device industry supporting Clinical and Medical Affairs, strongly preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required; SalesForce experience preferred.

Job Summary:
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Principal MMIC and Module Design Engineer to join Raytheon’s RF Microelectronics/Module Design & Foundry Services department in Andover, MA. This department develops, designs, and manufactures compound semiconductor devices, microwave/millimeter-wave integrated circuits, and modules for defense applications. The successful candidate will develop state-of-the-art MMIC and module products that support air and missile defense systems and radars. Using advanced semiconductor and module technologies, they will be responsible for the complete product cycle of the MMIC, including concept, design, layout, test, evaluation, and interfacing with the customer.
What You Will Do:
- Develop insights that extend your knowledge in the MMIC design field and form the basis of new concepts, theories, and products
- Design RF structures and transitions on multi-layer, multi-channel RF Modules and analog circuitry enabling both receive and transmit behavior
- Consult across MMIC design, module design, test and assembly teams
- Act independently to troubleshoot, and uncover and resolve issues
- Research and develop new technology that results in new product/business opportunities for Raytheon
- Serve as a technical resource and represent the Department as a technical contact to Raytheon and external customers
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 8+ years of relevant work experience with RF/microwave/mm-wave MMIC design, module/subsystem design and test. An advanced STEM degree can count in lieu of some experience)
- Experience with Circuit Simulation tool ADS and in EM tools such as HFSS, Momentum
- Experience designing RF/Microwave MMIC circuits and modules
