The Progressive Cardiac Care Unit at The Johns Hopkins Hospital is a 32-bed unit, consisting of 20 telemetry, and 12 ICU step-down beds. The unit cares for highly acute cardiac medicine patients with diagnoses such as acute MI, cardiomyopathy, dysrhythmia, and heart failure. Treatments are primarily medical, but frequently include intervention in the Cardiac Cath & Electrophysiology lab, including stent placement, ablation, PPM/AICD implantation, or TAVR.
Due to the chronicity of cardiac disease, the Registered Nurse will have the opportunity to form strong positive relationships due to the extended stays of many patients and their families. This unit is resourced a full-time “monitor watch” tech to assist in early detection of EKG changes and to alert staff of lethal rhythms. Staff on the floor will gain experience with vasoactive drip titration, Swann-Ganz catheters, LVADs, phlebotomy & IV insertion, ACLS, and palliative care.
Shift: Part-time, 24-hours/week rotating or night shift - 12-hour shifts only

The Johns Hopkins Hospital Surgical Progressive Care Unit is a 32-bed general surgical unit. The unit offers three levels of care: Floor, Telemetry, and Intermediate Medical Care (IMC). Services provided:IMC patient arrythmia management, BiPAP/CPAP, bedside bronchoscopy, Thoracic surgery (lung resections, pneumonectomy, esophagectomy), Trauma, Urology(RRP, TURP), and variety of other general surgery patients. You will help lead different initiatives and support the Nurse Manager in the day-to-day operations of the unit, provide resources to staff and help provide patient care. This role is vital in ensuring the unit runs smoothly.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The RTA is actively seeking an experienced Diesel Bus Mechanic Shift Supervisor. This individual will manage the work of mechanics and supervise the maintenance for our fleet of 80 transit buses and service vehicles.
This position requires the level of knowledge and skills necessary to troubleshoot and repair automotive, transit, and commercial vehicles and equipment. Must have knowledge of and ability to use hand tools, diagnostic equipment, laptops, scan tools, gauges, micrometers etc. Shift Supervisors are required to create, monitor, update and close repair orders in the company’s management system and ensure that employees are using the system effectively. Knowledge and skills using Microsoft computer programs such as Word, Excel, and Power Point are necessary. This individual must have the ability to effectively lead, work and communicate with employees and customers, and ensure repairs and maintenance are performed in a timely and efficient manner. Requirements also include daily safety inspections, with minimal reworks, and maintaining production standards. Particular attention will be paid to timeliness and quality of repairs. Shift supervisors will also be responsible for managing and leading service lane employees.

- Will be responsible for prioritizing workload and distribution of work as well as advising the proper repair procedures through clear and concise communication.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Candidates must have a high school diploma, or equivalent.
- A/C 609 certification required.
- Must have a valid Commercial Driver’s License Class B or higher with Passenger (P) endorsement and no Airbrakes (L) restriction.
- Must have an appropriate mechanic’s tool set.
- Minimum of three (3) years direct automotive, heavy equipment or transit repair experience.
- Must have demonstrated experience monitoring and meeting PM schedules and operating automotive repair shop equipment.
- Must have excellent communication skills, bringing demonstrated abilities of building solid relationships with superiors, peers and subordinates.
Special Requirements:
- This position requires a minimum of three (3) ASE Heavy Duty/Transit related certifications. These certifications must be obtained within the first six (6) months of employment. 60; New Shift Supervisors are strongly encouraged to obtain their Heavy Duty/Transit ASE Master certification within their first two (2) years of employment through progressive testing.
- Forklift certification must be achieved within one (1) year of employment.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
- Incumbent must be able to move about the office and between floors; utilize standard office equipment; access filing system/cabinets; and communicate effectively and efficiently in person or by telephone.

In this role, you will support the PPSM Program through the assurance that all Enterprise IS Ports, Protocols, and Services (PPS) are registered in the PPSM central registry (PPSM-Unclassified (PPSM-U) and PPSM-Classified (PPSM-C)); are categorized and updated on the PPSM Category Assurance List; non-standard requests are not deployed prior to approval from the Authorizing Official (AO); and assist the Government to develop, revise, implement, and enforce PPSM policies. PPSM support includes all DISA owned and supported ISs and DISA authorized Cloud Service Offerings.
Individuals in this role must be available to work on-site at Ft. Meade, MD full time.
Responsibilities Include:
- Ensure all systems are registered in PPSM and eMASS, processing DD2875 requests within four days and auditing access annually.
- Develop and update the DISA PPS Registry SOP/Guide semi-annually.
- Process and track PPSM change, exception, and modification requests, ensuring compliance.
- Provide PPPS and DMZ Whitelist Status Reports for system authorization efforts.
- Generate weekly data reports from DISA DMZ Whitelist and PPS Registries (NIPR & SIPR), coordinating corrections.
- Support DoD PPSM CCB/TAG meetings, providing feedback and voting recommendations within three days.
- Maintain PPSM Registries, ensuring alignment with eMASS and tracking compliance metrics.
- Review and resolve PPSM registration discrepancies per DoDI 8551.01, assisting stakeholders.
- Monitor and support DISA PPSM TAG Representatives with CLSA, exception requests, and emergency changes.
- Submit NSU packages for inclusion in the Category Assurance List (CAL).
- Validate DISA ISs in the PPSM Registry, ensuring updates in PPSM-U and PPSM-C for environmental changes.
- Verify PPSM Registry and eMASS IDs for accuracy.
- Provide PPSM compliance metrics, including registrations and discrepancies.
- Establish PPSM training on DMZ Whitelist and PPSM request processes.
- Conduct customer meetings and support DISA initiatives to ensure security compliance.
- Maintain PPSM registrations for new CSOs, updating as needed.
- Manage DISA DMZ Whitelist Registries, ensuring accurate eMASS correlation.
- Validate DISA DoD DMZ Whitelist submissions within two business days, ensuring compliance.
- Process emergency DMZ Whitelist requests within two hours with leadership approval.
- Review DISA ISs in the DMZ Whitelist Registry, updating for decommissions/modifications.
- Provide DMZ Whitelist metrics on entries, types, and system associations.
- Conduct annual DMZ Whitelist reviews, ensuring accuracy and reporting concerns.

- Education:
- Bachelor's degree (IT-related field preferred)
- Experience:
- Three (3) years of overall experience in a network engineering position
- Clearance:
- Have an active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- Certifications:
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification

In this position, you will organize and manage DSAWG and CDTAB meetings, including scheduling, logistics, agendas, and minutes. You will also participate in and contribute to weekly, monthly, and quarterly working groups, boards, and panels to include CDTAB, DSAWG, Information Domain, and IRSMC board meetings.
Individuals in this role must be available to work on-site at Ft. Meade, MD for the majority of the workweek.
Responsibilities Include:
- Coordinate with DISA stakeholders, ISSMs, and PMs to resolve non-compliance issues identified in the Cybersecurity Scorecard.
- Keep DISA senior leadership and cybersecurity stakeholders informed of all Cybersecurity Scorecard non-compliance findings.
- Serve as the primary briefer for CDS requests, tickets, ad-hoc meetings, and annual reviews at CDTAB, DSAWG, Information Domain, and IRSMC boards.
- Apply broad technical expertise in cybersecurity, networking, system architecture, cross-domain technologies, DMZ design, and controlled interfaces.
- Participate in and contribute to weekly, monthly, and quarterly working groups, boards, and panels.
- Support the CDTAB Chair and Secretariat on CDS-related issues and actions.
- Implement CDTAB strategic goals including policy planning, risk analysis, and vulnerability assessments.
- Identify and propose issues requiring CDTAB risk decisions and organize topics for monthly meetings.
- Execute DSAWG strategic goals and conduct risk and vulnerability assessments for related initiatives.
- Maintain DSAWG and CDTAB online platforms, ensuring access to briefings, policies, references, tracking tools, and contact directories.
- Notify the CDTAB community of all CDS tickets and requests pending review.
- Organize and manage DSAWG and CDTAB meetings, including scheduling, logistics, agendas, and minutes.
- Communicate deadlines for submission of agendas, briefs, and discussion topics.
- Draft, proof, and distribute meeting materials to DSAWG and CDTAB members in advance.
- Maintain standardized briefing templates and formats for both forums.
- Record and publish all meeting minutes, decisions, briefings, and supporting documents.
- Keep updated contact lists and email distribution groups for members and advisors.
- Develop monthly status reports (MSRs) for CDTAB and DSAWG.
- Prepare up to 10 SOPs or internal documents annually.
- Create up to 5 technical papers per year on DSAWG-related issues for coordination with DoD/IC stakeholders.
- Produce up to 12 white papers, CONOPS, and contingency plans annually to support RE4 functions.
- Manage monthly ballots for CDTAB and DSAWG, averaging 20 CDS requests, 20 tickets, 10-20 briefings, and 15 annual reviews-volume may vary monthly.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (IT-related field preferred)
- Six (6) or more years leading Risk Management teams
- Five (5) or more years IT program management experience leading audits and inspections in DoD/Federal environment
- Have an active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- DoD 8570 IAM or IAT Level III certification
- Functional area expertise in National and DoD IT policy
- Expert level knowledge and experience as a technical expert providing technical direction, interpretation, and alternatives in areas such as but not limited to; Information Systems Architecture, Telecommunications Systems Design, Architecture, Implementation, Information Systems Integration, Software Development Methodologies, Security Engineering, Communications and Network Systems Management.
- Expert level knowledge in guiding the successful completion of major programs and may function in a project leadership role Proven ability to prepare and present technical documentation, strategic briefings, and governance materials for senior-level DoD boards (e.g., CDTAB, DSAWG, IRSMC)
