Employer:OPmobility f/k/a Plastic Omnium Auto Exterior LLC Job Title:Supplier Quality Development Engineer Job Location: 310 Genoble Road, Greer, SC 29615 Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours a week, Monday – Friday Responsibilities: Manage the improvement of Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) Supplier Quality Performance (product and service) across the assigned perimeter, through effective problem resolution and escalation processes Support plant in the reduction of supplier Non-Conformities (NCN), Cost Recovery, and management of poor performing suppliers and crisis.

Ensure supplier issues are risk managed effectively.

Contribute to the development and improvement of supplier quality processes, standards and trainings.

Evaluate (audit) new potential suppliers in accordance with purchasing strategy.

Contribute to the selection of new suppliers in accordance with quality and purchasing strategy.

Mange the development and improvement of suppliers.

Support plants in the reduction of Demerits & CNQ for suppliers.

Support program management during the launch phase.

This position requires 55% domestic travel and 5% international travel.

Hybrid work from home permitted two (2) days per week.

Requirements: At Least a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in Production Management, Mechanical Engineering or other closely related field and Five (5) years of experience as a Supplier Quality Engineer, Quality Engineer or closely related occupation where required experience gained.

Also requires at least 3 years of experience in the following: Experience in Purchasing Quality, Program management, or Operations background within the automotive industry; Experience with Injection, Paint, Chromed, Stamped and Bonding processes Technical knowledge of purchased automotive commodities including chrome parts, metal parts, injected plastics parts, fasteners, or paint; Experience negotiating automotive commodities; and Experience with automotive global requirements Auditor Certification such as VDA 6.3 or VDA-IAIG Standards Language Requirement: Fluent in Spanish Contact: To apply, send resume to: Zumra Husanovic at .

MISSIONS: Support to the SE about the APQP process with suppliers to achieve non-event launches in alignment to OEM and IES specific requirements.

Supporting supplier PPAP’s to closure utilizing PPAP in KEOPS.

Engage with the POAE Plant SQE on risks and containment during launch.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Supporting on monitors APQP deliverables: Feasibility commitment, APQP planning, Measurement plans, Control plans, product & process FMEA, validation plans, run at rates, acceptance reports, appearance approval reports, checking fixtures concepts, checking fixtures R&R studies.

Analyses first off-tool parts and start of Part history tracking at the PO plants/SILS in incoming inspection area.

Supporting and Monitoring mountability and packaging validation (build trials), with support of Plant Supplier Quality Engineer.

Supporting on at Supplier facility with support of SPM and SQE.

Confirms capacity and capability and conducts a process audit if needed as part of risk mitigation plan.

Supporting and ensuring submits PPAP status to SPM and Plant SQE (utilizing the supplier PPAP in KEOPS).

Validates the ISAR (Initial Samples Acceptance Report) with the supplier.

Supporting with the Direct By supplier PPAP deliverables Together with the SE and Plant SQE prepares incoming inspection (boundary samples; limit samples, and instructions).

Constant warehouse audit to ensure the engineering levels per phase and/or engineering change Support the SQE on the POE scrap party activities per milestone and/or engineering change Supporting on supplier Ramp-up (Quality Firewall with inspection evidence).

Supporting on ensures a transparent process of change management from the program team through to the supplier.

Supporting on during Launch ensures the part status (configuration, revision levels) are maintained at plant and PPAP in KEOPS system in agreement with the engineering BOM.
