Role: Senior Design Engineer

Location: Onsite in New Ulm or Eden Prairie, MN

Salary: $95,000 - $150,000, dependent on skills and qualifications

POSITION SUMMARY:

Provide technical guidance and design authority for the Engineering group. The position will be responsible for assurance of all electromagnetic design criteria as well as thermal and structural integrity of the designs as well developing testing capability for complete motor/system assemblies. Position will interface internally and externally to address budgets, schedules and resourcing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct defined including but not limited to magnetic, thermal and structural design, safety analysis and FEA for new products from inception.
• Perform project budget plans, schedules and implementation planning for new platform development projects
• Review of customer requirements and generation of compliances matrices to specifications and S.O.W.’s
• Technical oversight on all legacy and new projects.
• Conduct defined tasks including but not limited to Design and documentation to improve process understanding and quality improvement, using commonly used concepts, practices, and engineering methodologies.
• Interact occasionally with other production facilities as needed to maintain production of assigned customers and products.
• Mentoring and development of E/O’s within all aspects of the organization.
• Recommend new manufacturing processes and procedural development for new technologies introduced.
• Recommendation of new technologies to improve manufacturing efficiency, hardware performance and safety
• Evaluate legacy systems and processes and recommend improvements
• Conduct and or be consulted on Root Cause and Corrective action oversight and failure analysis that impact the organizations performance.
• Interface with all departments to assure communication of projects goals and requirements.
• Lead project teams to successfully complete new projects.
• Assume added responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Education:

• 4 year degree in a technical field required, or 10 years of relevant experience.

Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years related experience in Electro-mechanical design.

Knowledge/Skills:

• Excellent problem solving skills. Strong independent decision making and analytical abilities to make on the spot decisions.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
• Must exhibit a curious, positive, team-oriented, enthusiastic approach.
• Great work ethic and willingness to ethically do what needs to be done.
• Proficient computer skills and experience with Solid works, Microsoft Office, or similar software.
• Understanding of machining capabilities and technologies.
• May require up to 10% travel to customers and suppliers.

Community Internal Medicine is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work as part of a multidisciplinary primary care team. Nurse Practitioner: Masters-prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Current MN RN and APRN license and certification as an ANP, GNP, or FNP. DNP is preferred. Physician Assistant: Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the MN State Board of Medical Practice. Fairview is seeking an experienced Hospitalist Physician Assistant to perform triage work in the System Operations Center (SOC) at Fairview Midway Campus in St. Paul, MN. The SOC Advanced Practice Provider Triage Hospitalist plays a critical role in facilitating timely and appropriate placement of patients across M Health Fairview's nine metro hospitals?including our quaternary academic medical center, children's hospital, tertiary hospitals, and community hospitals. This role ensures optimal utilization of system resources by coordinating with patient placement nurses, specialists, and admitting providers to triage and assign patients to maximize efficient resource utilization.

Practice Details:

• FTE: flexible from 0.23-0.91
  • FTE structured to complement current clinical Hospitalist role
  • Rotating 8-week block integrated with clinical site responsibilities/schedule
  • Shift Lengths: Evening (1 PM?11 PM), and Weekend (9 AM?9 PM every fourth weekend, aligned with a weekday stretch), and eventual Daytime (8 AM?6 PM) as we expand and fully staff the service
• Serve as the clinical coordinator for triaging interfacility transfers and direct admissions across the Fairview system

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) in the state of Minnesota
