Job Summary and QualificationsAs a PACU Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in the immediate post-operative care of surgical patients. Your responsibilities will include managing airway support, closely monitoring neurological and cardiac status, and responding promptly to any complications or side effects. You will provide initial wound care to the patients’ surgical site and ensure patient stability during recovery. You will collaborate with the surgical and anesthesia team. Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Burn Unit Registered Nurse (RN), you’ll play a vital role in the healing journey of patients with a variety of burn injuries. With stays ranging from days to weeks, you’ll build meaningful relationships and witness powerful healing journeys. Partnering with a skilled team that’s deeply committed to this unique population, you’ll restore comfort and healing - caring for patients like family and improving lives every day.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assessing patient condition and environment to recognize changes, manage pain, and ensure safety throughout their care journey
- Performing expert procedures and medication administration – including pain relief and fluid therapy – delivering advanced wound care and dressing changes, monitoring responses and acting swiftly to promote healing and comfort
- Educating and supporting patients and families with compassion and clarity to confidently navigate recovery and make informed decisions
- Collaborating with a dedicated multidisciplinary team to provide seamless, patient-centered care tailored to each individual’s needs
What qualifications you will need:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Registered Nurse license in the state of Colorado, or multistate license
- Registered Nurse Diploma, BSN preferred
- Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC
- One or more years of acute care experience preferred. Wound care experience strongly desired.
- Typical shift: 8:30am-5:00pm (full shifts, partial shifts not available)
