Job Summary

The Manufacturing Engineer Intern position is a full-time opportunity for an engineer student to gain practical experience in development, improvement, and maintenance of manufacturing processes, documentation, validations, and production readiness activities. • Track action items, risks, issues, and opportunities within assigned projects.
• Participate in problem‑solving activities using tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone, FMEA, and CAPA.
• Assist with the development, documentation, and optimization of manufacturing processes.
• Perform time studies, process mapping, and workflow evaluations.
• Maintain and update work instructions, SOPs, and process documentation.
• Support equipment and process validations, including IQ/OQ/PQ activities.
• Assist in implementing verification and validation plans for new or updated equipment.
• Identify opportunities to reduce scrap, improve efficiency, and increase process capability.
• Support 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and standard work initiatives within the production environment.

Education/Experience

• Student classified as a Junior or Senior working towards a BS or MS degree in an Engineering discipline.
• Mechanical design experience from academic projects or previous internship a plus.
• SolidWorks experience a plus.
• 3D printing experience a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and work in a fast–paced setting.
