Key Responsibilities

Project Portfolio & Strategic Management

• Manage portfolio of automation projects (AS/RS, conveyors, G2P systems, AGVs, ancillary technologies) aligned with corporate strategy and capital constraints.
• Monitor KPIs: schedule adherence, budget variance, quality, safety compliance, ROI.
• Allocate resources strategically across concurrent multi-site projects.
• Drive process improvements in project delivery methodology.

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Lead engineering, procurement, operations, installation, and IT teams across all phases.
• Coordinate project activities from design/procurement through commissioning.

Planning, Scope & Schedule Management

• Develop charters, scope, specifications, and integrated timelines.

Vendor & Supplier Management

• Select and manage relationships with MHE vendors and automation providers.
• Assess vendor performance on quality, delivery, cost, support, and innovation.
• Negotiate contracts to optimize value.
• Coordinate cost reduction and supplier consolidation initiatives.
• Manage disputes and performance issues; participate in new technology evaluation.

Technical Oversight & Integration

• Ensure system design meets operational workflows and facility requirements.
• Oversee installation, software configuration, and integration with WMS/ERP systems.
• Validate designs, approve technical specs, and oversee acceptance testing.

Operations Handover & Early Support

• Deliver SOPs, maintenance protocols, and troubleshooting guides.
• Provide training and technical support during ramp-up.
• Monitor early performance and drive optimization.

Financial & Business Case Management

• Develop budgets, control expenditures, and analyze variances.
• Present financial performance and ROI analyses to leadership.
• Manage capital allocation across projects.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, or related; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years in project management/supply chain operations; 7+ years in warehouse automation/MHE projects.
• Proven success managing multi-million-dollar capital projects on time and within budget.
• Expertise in AS/RS, conveyors, AGVs, goods-to-person systems, WMS/ERP integration.
• PMP or equivalent certification; strong leadership, strategic thinking, vendor management, and communication skills.

Working Conditions

The Industrial Automation Engineering Director is responsible for leading a team of engineers focused on the successful execution of manufacturing engineering projects. This includes overseeing all aspects of project implementation, from initial processing, design and development to final production launch at the assembly site. The Execution Senior Manager will work closely with cross functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. • Strong proficiency in project management methodologies, such as Agile and Six Sigma,

ensuring efficient project execution and continuous improvement.

• Experience with processing equipment, throughput, and comprehensive understanding

of manufacturing processes, enabling effective design and production.

• In-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement

methodologies, fostering operational efficiency and waste reduction.

• A strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures, ensuring a safe working

environment for all team members.

• Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, demonstrating the ability to

thrive in fast-paced settings. Experience with reliability and maintainability of

Job Description:

Project Manager is responsible for overall management of multiple projects including plans, budgets, contracts, schedules, and quality control. Includes maintaining relationships with clients and monitoring construction and financial progress to ensure proper project completion.

1. Project Pre-construction:

• Participate in pre-construction design meetings for assigned projects and provide feedback as necessary as it relates to cost and constructability.

• Prepare RFP and bid plan for Grand Contracting built projects.

• Utilize GRAND software (Procore, Bluebeam, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office)
• Prepare and submit detailed RFI’s with possible solutions and recommendations as well as maintain the RFI log.
• Prepare and distribute accurate meeting minutes and agendas for subcontractor meetings and client meetings.
• Review submittals for compliance with contract documents prior to submission to the design team.
• Maintain conformity of all insurance and safety requirements required of our subcontractor partners.
• Maintain submittal log.
• Manage document controls by distributing construction documents, RFI’s, shop drawings to all subcontractors and team members as required.
• Update and track all as built changes to construction documents.
• Assist with resolving any issues or delays that may arise during construction.
• Understand and assist in maintaining the change event log.
• Timely and detailed monthly reporting as required per project.
• Weekly update of project schedules with superintendent feedback and input.
• Document and distribute schedule progress and changes.
• Ability to provide input and manage negotiations of owner contracts with respect to scope of work, schedule implications, and budget changes.
• Fully understand the sequence of operations and communicate the plan in a timely fashion.

3. Quality Control:
