Position Summary:
Full-time, on-site Paralegal / Case Manager. You'll own matters from intake through completion, keep records clean, and ensure deadlines and workflow don't slip. You'll work closely with attorneys and become a key operator in our collections and enforcement process.
Core Responsibilities:
- Open and organize new matters (intake, file setup, document management)
- Prepare/file/track routine litigation and enforcement documents using streamlined internal tools

Qualifications:
NY collections/litigation experience is strongly preferred. You should be detail-obsessed, reliable, and able to run high-volume work without things falling through the cracks. Microsoft Office proficiency is required. MCA experience is a huge plus.

What You’ll Do
• Manage all aspects of appellate case support in criminal and civil matters
• Prepare and assemble records on appeal
• Draft and format appellate briefs, motions, and related filings
• Create and update tables of contents and tables of authorities
• Handle bookmarking, hyperlinking, and electronic filing in state and federal courts
• Ensure strict compliance with court rules, deadlines, and procedural requirements
• Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients
• Provide proactive, responsive support to attorneys throughout the appellate process
What We’re Looking For
• Minimum 5 years of appellate paralegal experience
• Strong working knowledge of filing procedures and court rules for the NYS Appellate Terms and Appellate Divisions (all four departments) and U.S. Circuit Courts
• Experience handling both criminal and civil appeals
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, including complex formatting
• Skilled in preparing records on appeal, tables of contents, and tables of authorities
• Familiarity with electronic filing at all levels of state and federal courts
• Experience using CLIO and Westlaw

The role:
- Processes work orders (printing of documents, Barcodes, Requisition forms and kit production forms, assembly kits) that include kits and bulk supplies which are sent to investigator sites.
- Identifies discrepancies with work orders and enters this information into Icolims system which will be used for metrics reports and audit report for Clients.
- Assist Project Management staff with modifications of work orders.

To be successful you will need:
