Responsibilities

Description
We are seeking a motivated and experienced, Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) Welder to join our aerospace manufacturing team. This position is ideal for individuals who have experience and are eager to grow within a structured and supportive environment. You will assist in the welding, fabrication, and assembly of propellant space tank systems and sub-assemblies.
Pay Range: $40 to $60 per hour.
Position Requirements
- Weld, assemble, and fabricate various propellant space tank systems and sub-assembly components using GTAW (TIG) welding methods
- Use precision-calibrated tools such as torque wrenches, micrometers, and calipers to ensure quality and accuracy
- Perform work in accordance with detailed procedures, specifications, and test instructions

· Drive Standardization: Document tribal knowledge into robust SOPs and work instructions; pilot and roll out digital work instruction tools and visual management boards.

Expertise: Knowledge & Skills:

Core Responsibilities
- Customer Advocacy: Serve as the primary point of contact for customer and Account Manager needs regarding order status and logistics.
- Order Management: Manage the full lifecycle of customer orders within the ERP system, ensuring accuracy from initial entry through final completion.
- Data Integrity: Maintain highly accurate documentation, pricing records, and customer/product profiles to ensure seamless internal transitions.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to resolve issues and align production with customer expectations.
- Process Ownership: Proactively identify and resolve potential order hurdles to maintain customer trust and operational flow.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in sales support, customer service, or order management, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Technical Skills: Very strong proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Communication: Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
- Adaptability: A strong ability to adjust to shifting priorities and changing customer needs in a high-volume environment.
- Accountability: A track record of taking ownership of outcomes and following through on complex tasks from start to finish.

Join our Pump Services team within Rotating Equipment Services division in Santa Fe Springs, CA as a Late Shift Machinist and help us take our Service Center to the next level.
In this role you will be accountable for:
* Performing layouts, setting up and operating conventional machine tools as required
* Reading and interpreting all drawings, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
* Designing setup methods where none exist
* Instructing other shop personnel on proper machining techniques
* Continually improving methods to deliver higher quality with improved costs
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Completion of a machinist apprentice program or equivalent training
* Ability to hold close tolerances and conduct component inspections
* Ability to setup machine tools: ID / OD Grinders, Turret Lathe, Engine Lathe, Horizontal Boring Mill, Vertical Boring Mill, Radial Drill, Planer Mill
* Four years of experience in machine shop operations
* Willingness to work in a team environment
* Openness to working overtime as required
