Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, this role will service molding machines and auxiliary equipment. This position will be responsible for standard operating/production procedures, safety, quality control, cost control, and continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance department. This position will provide maintenance support across all areas of operation and be responsible for both preventive and reactive maintenance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support, comply, and ensure complicity with all Health and Safety regulations, Company Handbook, Quality and Environmental standards, and all other company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Informs supervisors and line technicians of potential electrical/mechanical problems and inherent dangers involved.
• Understand and maintain high standards of tidiness and organization in line with good 5S practices. Will promote and maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment and be responsible for proper material storage and waste disposal.
• Assists in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic equipment.
• Monitor, identify and respond promptly to signs of malfunction in machinery such as changes in performance, temperature, sounds or smells.
• Perform effective diagnosis of breakdowns and timely repair of equipment to maximize availability.
• Performs scheduled planned preventative maintenance procedures.
• Assists other personnel with technical troubleshooting.
• Helps with maintaining the company's required equipment performance and maintenance records.
• Ensure an effective interface & communication with other departmental staff is maintained.
• Must be receptive to performing functions in multiple areas and perform other duties as required.
• This position will be assigned primarily to the indicated shift but must be able to work any shift and overtime as required.

Education and Work Experience Requirements

• High school graduate or General Education Degree with a two-year technical degree or accredited apprenticeship program, or 5 years equivalent work-related experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
• Possess a strong maintenance ability and aptitude to apply mechanical and electrical principles in various troubleshooting and repair activities.
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Must demonstrate autonomy- ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
• Detail-oriented- ability to pay attention to minute details of a task.
• Must be flexible with new ideas and have the ability to work weekends and overtime when necessary.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, procedures, and policies.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and drawings for use in equipment troubleshooting and repair.
• Demonstrated understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Experience in a high-volume industrial manufacturing environment.
• Maintain punctual and regular attendance
• Ability and knowledge to safely operate forklifts, power tools, and hand tools.

Physical Requirements

• Will sit, stand, or walk short distances for up to 12 hours per day
• Will climb stairs on an occasional basis
• Will lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis
• Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis
• 20/40 vision in each eye, with or without correction, is required
• Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures
• May reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis
• May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis

• Receive daily instructions from Production Supervisor and plan day accordingly using the \"Shop Floor Control System\".
• Must have proven skill to set up and operate machine centers.
• Must be versed in Rotary or Indexing capability 3 - 5 axis milling.
• Verify feeds and speeds for maximum efficiency.
• Optimize process to achieve maximum efficiency.
• Save updated programs, documents and pictures
• Clock in and off operations according to sequence number of the work order.
• Check parts to ensure they meet blueprint specifications using proper gauges.
• Deburr work in process.
• Train operators on the jobs before they start production.
• Train new hires or apprentices.
• Work in teams to troubleshoot manufacturing problems and perform quality assurance checks of our work
• Meets agreed upon goals and objectives in a timely manner.
• Interact with organizational team members and other departments in a professional manner.
• Assists in formulating departmental strategic plan.
• ISO9001:2008 and ISO13485:2003 certification and compliance.
• Ensure company procedures and \"best machine practices\" are being always followed.
• Safety and OSHA compliance.
• Practice all PPE requirements.

• Minimum three to five years work experience
• Enrolled in or vocational education or four years formal apprenticeship preferred.
• Practical knowledge of theoretical and practical aspects of blueprint reading, GD & T
• Extensive knowledge of accepted inspection practices
• Knowledge of CNC programming and G & M code
• Basic to intermediate tool probe
• Demonstrated ability at operating computer numerical control machines
• Ability to read blueprints to ensure accuracy in part making
• Ability to speak basic English language
• Must be able to understand three and four axis machining.
• Must have a working knowledge of computers.
• Must be able to take verbal and written instructions and work from handmade sketches.
• Demonstrated knowledge of G-Code programming and machine practices.
• Demonstrated effective verbal, written, and communication skills.

• Visual acuity: near acuity and accommodation are required for reading machine dial gauges, blueprints, and precision measuring instruments used in the inspection of parts
• Hearing ability: ability to monitor machine sounds to identify and diagnose changes in order to take appropriate action
• Frequently required to stand, walk, push, reach overhead, and bend to the floor
• Frequently required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance or related field preferred.
• Five to ten years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, preferably in home care healthcare of non-skilled services.
• Strong knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare and MCO home healthcare billing and pay rules.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review and determine course of action on each file assigned, utilizing technical knowledge and experience for the purpose of supporting final disposition of a loss
• Conduct thorough investigations and keep accurate and relevant documentation of file activity on each claim assigned including coverage liability, status and damages that are applicable for each claim
• Honor/decline/negotiate first and third-party liability claims upon completion of coverage/policy investigation and analysis of damages and liability
• Work directly with internal and external customers to develop evidence and establish facts on assigned claims
• Organize, plan and prioritize work activities to keep up with current assignments and to ensure prompt conclusion of claims
• Prepare and present claim evaluations for the appropriate settlement authority
• Notify the Underwriting Department of any adverse information uncovered in the course of the investigation
• Familiarity with unfair claim practices in states where we do business
• Conduct business with vendors in a professional manner while maintaining a reasonable expense factor and upholding the company's reputation for quality service
• Provide customer service both to internal and external customers
• Handle other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• Minimum 2-3 years previous auto insurance or other auto related experience A MUST!
• Non-Standard Auto claims handling experience a plus!
• Excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal and communication (verbal, written, phone) skills
• General working knowledge of policies, file procedures, state rules and regulations
• Ability to pass written examinations where required by state statutes to become a licensed Claims Adjuster

• Research and provide HTS or product codes when missing, ensuring accuracy for future use.
• Input entry data and handle FDA (PGA) requirements, including “may proceed” releases.
• Immediately notify clients when FDA exams are required (document or merchandise).
• Prepare and annotate delivery orders with FDA release status.
• Issue written instructions to carriers/steamship lines when shipments must be held for release.
• Ensure shipments are properly released once clearance is completed.
• Pass completed files to Post-Entry team for final assembly.
• Monitor releases by Customs, FDA, and other authorities, and resolve census or entry errors.
• Correct bill of lading and related errors promptly.
