Claim Investigation:

  • Investigate auto accidents to assess liability by interviewing first- and third-party claimants, witnesses, investigating officers, and other relevant parties.
  • Secure and analyze pertinent records, documentation, and loss scene information to determine proximate cause, negligence, and damages.


Claims Management:

  • Evaluate and adjust reserves as necessary.
  • Prepare dispatch instructions for field personnel to inspect vehicles.
  • Negotiate and settle claims within individual authority limits and seek supervisor approval for claims exceeding authority or requiring additional guidance.
  • Maintain effective follow-up systems on pending files, advising insureds, claimants, and brokers on claim status.
  • Act as an intermediary between the company, preferred vendors, and customers to resolve disputes.
  • Ensure adherence to privacy guidelines, laws, and regulations in claims handling.


Subrogation and Legal Handling:

  • Investigate and initiate subrogation processes when applicable.
  • Handle and respond to special civil part lawsuits or intercompany arbitrations related to auto property damage claims.


Administrative Duties:

  • Manage a customer-focused phone environment by answering calls, returning voicemails, and responding to emails and text correspondence promptly.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail timely and in accordance with state guidelines.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.



QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • A minimum of 1 year of related PD claim experience is welcomed but not required.
  • Proficiency in personal computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.

SALARY RANGE

The People Experience Specialist is a key member of the People Experience team responsible for delivering a simple, human, and helpful HR experience. Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties



  • Serve as the first-line contact for employees, managers, and HR Business Partners on questions related to benefits, payroll, disability and leave management, HR policies, and general employment inquiries through email, phone, and case management systems.
  • Manage daytoday HR operations, including digital onboarding workflows, employee lifecycle transactions (new hires, terminations, transfers, compensation and personal changes), and documentation while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a positive employee experience.
  • Leverage technology, automation, and AIenabled tools to streamline routine processes, promote selfservice, and improve response times while maintaining human touchpoints for critical or sensitive moments.
  • Conduct selfaudits and peer reviews to ensure data integrity, compliance, and adherence to established procedures, resolving discrepancies as needed.

The Clinical Nurse Educator shall work collaboratively with the nursing directors to provide educational services to nursing staff.


Qualifications Education and Work Experience


  • Must have a current and valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State.
  • Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  • Minimum of 5 years acute care experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years previous educational experience preferred.

Education and Work Experience

  2. Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Food & Nutrition or related field or relevant experience.

  4. Food Safety Certification from an accredited organization and maintain current.
