Demand Planner

Location- Hybrid 3-4 days per week in Fridley, MN

This will play a key role in aligning customer demand with operational capabilities. This position is responsible for developing accurate demand forecasts, analyzing sales and market trends, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure optimal inventory levels that support business objectives. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical capabilities with the ability to work closely with sales, operations, and leadership to support the company’s overall supply chain strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Forecasting & Demand Planning

• Develop, maintain, and improve short-, medium-, and long-term demand forecasts using statistical models, historical data, and market insights
• Analyze sales trends, customer behavior, and product lifecycle patterns to improve forecast accuracy
• Monitor forecast performance (accuracy, bias) and implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage demand planning activities related to new product launches, promotions, and product phase-outs

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with sales, marketing, operations, planning, and finance to align demand assumptions and incorporate market intelligence
• Facilitate regular Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) demand reviews, presenting insights and validating planning assumptions
• Communicate forecast changes, risks, and opportunities to key stakeholders across the organization

Inventory Management

• Translate demand forecasts into inventory requirements to support product availability while minimizing excess inventory and obsolescence
• Support safety stock and reorder point planning in collaboration with operations and supply chain teams
• Monitor inventory levels, backorders, and customer service metrics to identify and resolve supply issues

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Prepare and present demand planning reports, dashboards, and KPIs for leadership and operational teams
• Identify demand drivers, trends, and forecast deviations and recommend corrective actions
• Maintain data integrity within ERP/MRP systems and demand planning tools
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of ERP systems such as Visual, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics (Infor Visual experience a plus)
• Knowledge of international trade, Incoterms, and global logistics is beneficial
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills

1. Manage projects from job start to job completion in collaboration with Construction Managers
2. Track and control construction schedule and associated costs to achieve completion of projects within the time and budget allocated
3. Create and execute project schedules which meet customer expectations and achieve billing and budget goals
4. Monitor and understand project challenges and contingencies through the entire construction process of each project to ensure budget and schedule goals are met
5. Maintain a strong customer relationship through positive communications, regular and prompt project updates and daily reporting
6. Act as the primary contact between the customer and organization throughout all phases of the project
7. Ensure specialized and customer supplied materials are available, on time, as needed per project
8. Identify, create, submit and track job change orders using the our change order process
9. Assure all project documentation is completed on time as the project progresses
10. Understand and communicate project specific safety precautions and quality standards to Construction Managers to ensure requirements are met per project
11. Monitor project performance, track progress against key performance indicators (KPIs), and create status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across all stakeholders

Ensure that project management, cost control, forecasting, and reporting processes are being executed with consistency, rigor, and accuracy

• Audit active and recently completed projects to validate cost, schedule, WIP, forecasting, and change management practices
• Identify emerging risks early and escalate findings with clear, fact-based recommendations
• Evaluate whether project controls and escalation processes are being followed as designed, and identify gaps or breakdowns
• Develop and enforce standardized project controls, review checkpoints, and reporting expectations
• Work with Field Operations Manager to ensure alignment on field resource and project needs
• Help to identify and manage sub-contractor requirements, performance and assist in corrective actions

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS Degree in Project Management, Engineering or related discipline, PMC/PMP, or combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• 10+ years of experience in project controls, construction operations, project management, or capital project oversight, and at least 4 years or more experience managing other project managers.
• 3+ years of construction, utility, or infrastructure experience strongly preferred
• Experience managing Project Manager(s) and Project Coordinator(s)
• Financial aptitude and advanced understanding of revenue, budgets, margins, invoicing, goals and schedules.
• Strong working knowledge of construction cost controls, earned revenue/WIP, forecasting, and change management
• Demonstrated ability to challenge assumptions and communicate clearly with senior leadership
• Experience submitting and managing budget proposals and recommending subsequent budget changes where necessary
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to communicate on-time effectively, clearly and succinctly through spoken and written forms with peers, management, and customers. Able to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds

Northern Region: Port Huron, MI Southeast Region: Houma, LA Southwest Region: San Diego, CA Duties and Responsibilities As a Marine Interdiction Agent, you will perform marine-based law enforcement operations for the detection, prevention, interdiction, and apprehension of terrorists, terrorist weapons, and other contraband and persons from illegally entering or attacking the United States.

Typical duties may include: Monitoring behavior patterns and activities of suspect persons, vehicles, or vessels believed to be engaged in illegal activities.

Interpreting radar data to calculate appropriate intercept while tracking vessels and people to a successful interdiction.

Searching persons, vessels, baggage, and cargo for contraband or weapons incidental to detention or arrest.

Collecting, refining, and analyzing strategic and tactical intelligence.

Qualifications This GS-11 grade level position has a selective factor: As a minimum qualification requirement all candidates must have a qualifying Merchant Mariner Credential.

You qualify for the GS-11 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Independently applying advanced skill in controlling/commanding law enforcement scenes to include conducting searches, making arrests, processing arrests and seizure of evidence and property.

Conducting investigative inquiries using various techniques, examining files and records, physical and documentary evidence to identify logical conclusions.

Utilizing cameras and other electronic high-tech surveillance equipment to gather evidence, collect, evaluate, and then preserve that physical and documentary evidence.

Highly skilled in writing comprehensive arrest, criminal and incident reports.

Assisting government or state attorneys in preparation for court cases or grand juries, testifies as a law enforcement officer in court proceedings, and administrative forums.

Considerable experience applying arrest authorities and constitutional law in various alleged criminal situations, or knowledge and experience of CBP laws, regulations, policies, legal precedent.

OR GS-11 Education Substitution for experience: A Ph.D.

or equivalent doctoral degree, three (3) full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree, or LL.M.

OR Combining Experience and Education: A combination of successfully completed post-bachelors' education (above) and experience.

Coast Guard Issued Merchant Mariner Credentials (MMC): You must submit a valid, legible copy of your Merchant Mariner Credential at time of application.

Your copies must include the expiration and capacity pages of your MMC.

Qualifying Capacities are Operator of Uninspected Passenger Vessel (OUPV), Mate of 200 gross tons or greater (Inland, Great Lakes, Near Coastal or Oceans), Chief Mate, Second Mate, and Third Mate Unlimited Oceans or Master of 25 GRT or greater (Inland, Great Lakes, Near Coastal or Oceans) OR An Accepted MMLD Application: You must submit proof an accepted MMLD application, for a MMC with a qualifying capacity, and a credential status that is in a positive standing.

It cannot be pending additional information for MMLD application process.

You must have your Official MMC Credential in hand at the time of scheduling and at assessment appointment.
