Trust in American institutions—government, courts, and even civil society—has steadily eroded and now stands at historic lows. In October 2025, Vanita Gupta launched the Center for Law and Public Trust at NYU School of Law to confront this crisis in confidence and reimagine US institutions so they are more effective and accountable to the American people, more resilient to corruption and abuse, and therefore more deserving of public trust.
The Center works to rebuild trust and advance effectiveness in government and other institutions by: developing issue briefs, roadmaps, and concrete blueprints for institutional reform and reconstruction; designing structures, processes, and policies that are more responsive to community needs, efficient, resilient, and accountable to the public; and training the next generation of lawyers to lead in public service, armed with the skills to deploy the levers of government and leadership, advance justice, and deliver results for the American people.
Position Summary
The Executive Assistant will be responsible for administrative and general office support for the Director, Deputy Director, and Fellows. Their duties will include:
- Managing scheduling needs and requests, both for Center employees and for projects that Center employees are running
- Interacting with the general public and serving as a point of contact for the Center, including, as appropriate and needed, responding to general inquiries regarding the Center
- Providing administrative support for events and meetings, including note-taking and assisting with setup and logistics
- Coordinating with other University personnel to address and resolve administrative issues or matters.
- Drafting various types of materials, including correspondence and memos
- Providing general support to the Director, including staffing the Director at events, assembling materials for the Director, and addressing the Director’s various needs in running the Center
- Providing operational support to the Deputy Director and Operations Manager in executing the various organizational functions of the Center
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree
- At least 2 years of full-time, post-graduate experience providing administrative or operational support

Salary and Benefits
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary ranges from $65,000 to $ 75,000, based on years of experience. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. Job Summary: As a Project Manager at IEF, you will be accountable for successfully executing assigned projects from the contract award through project closeout. This includes managing schedules, budgets, client relationships, and internal coordination across engineering, production, procurement, and field operations. The Project Manager serves as the central point of accountability to ensure projects are delivered safely on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Accountabilities:
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets in alignment with contract requirements and company goals.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, general contractors, and consultants, ensuring effective communication and timely issue resolution.
- Lead internal coordination across design, procurement, production, logistics, and field teams to align deliverables and schedules.
- Understand and manage the scope of work, ensuring contract compliance and tracking changes or deviations for proper documentation and pricing.

Compensation
The pay range for this position is $90,360 to $110,440 annually. Title and compensation will be determined based on experience and may align to either the Project Developer or Senior Project Developer level. The Dir. Of Operations Planning And Analysis is responsible for the Business Planning, Financial Analysis and Payment Approval for the Distribution Center network at the Steve Madden company. This position supports the Retail Distribution business. The responsibilities described below are considered essential functions of the role. This position is based in our LIC office and requires working on-site five days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting for company Distribution Centers
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators including spending and volume variances such as plan vs actual spend
- Produce weekly and monthly reporting using SM suite of reporting tools, systems and MS office applications
- Meet with external and internal business partners to obtain information required to develop a business plan and budget
- Audit and approve distribution center related bills which are submitted by our 3rd party distribution partners and local finance teams
- Provide key insights and estimated financial impacts of agreements, service contracts and various operational projects or process improvements
- Periodically review and update existing policies and practices, making improvements as needed to the organizations and departments processes

- Lead the cost management and reporting functions on a large construction development program.
