The Role We Want You For
The Development Manager is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of ground-up student housing development projects, from site identification and underwriting through entitlements, design, financing, construction, and delivery. This role works cross-functionally with acquisitions, design, construction, finance, and asset management teams to execute projects that align with the company’s investment strategy, brand standards, and financial objectives.
The Specifics of the Role
- Manage multiple student housing development projects simultaneously from concept through stabilization
- Coordinate due diligence activities including market studies, zoning analysis, environmental reports, and site feasibility
- Lead entitlement and approval processes with municipalities, universities, and community stakeholders
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, and critical milestones to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
- Prepare and refine detailed development budgets, pro formas, and sensitivity analyses
- Partner with finance and capital markets teams to support debt and equity sourcing
- Monitor development costs and cash flows throughout the project lifecycle
- Manage and collaborate with architects, engineers, designers, and consultants to ensure brand consistency and market-appropriate design
- Coordinate closely with construction management teams to align design intent, budget, and constructability
- Review and approve plans, specifications, change orders, and major cost items
- Oversee interior design and FFE implementation
- Serve as a primary point of contact for joint venture partners, consultants, lenders, and public officials

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, Design, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field
- 4–8+ years of experience in real estate development, preferably with student housing or multifamily projects
- Proven experience managing ground-up development projects exceeding $50MM+ in total cost
- Strong understanding of zoning, entitlements, construction processes, and design, development and finance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and real estate financial modeling
- Excellent project management, communication, and negotiation skills

Compensation
- The salary range for this position considers a wide range of factors in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: Education, qualifications, skills, training, experience, certifications, internal equity, and location. The Primary Care Physician (PCP) is a licensed/Board Certified/Board Eligible trained professional in internal or family medicine who plays a key role as part of the clinical operations team providing direct patient care and providing assessments primarily in the ambulatory health care center setting, or occasionally in acute care, nursing homes, skilled nursing facilities (SNF) and home settings depending on the nature of the assignment. The responsibilities include but are not limited to: geriatric assessment, medical history, physical exam, diagnosis and treatment, development of the plan of care, health education, specialty referrals, case management referrals, follow-up and clear documentation according to ChenMed standards for quality, service, productivity and teamwork. It also includes the participation in clinical rounds and conferences plus in-depth documentation through written progress notes and summaries.
The PCP will be required to demonstrate the ability to function both independently and in collaboration with other health care professionals. The PCP will consult with the applicable managers and medical directors to ensure compliance with guidelines along with participating in risk and quality management programs, clinical meetings and other meetings as required.
The PCP will adhere to strict departmental goals/objectives, standards of performance, regulatory compliance, quality patient care compliance, and policies and procedures. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Functions independently as a primary care practitioner as part of a patient care team.
- Independently assesses acute and non-acute clinical problems.
- Performs and documents physical assessments and patient histories, analyzes trends in patient conditions, and develops, documents and implements a patient management plan in response to the data obtained. This also includes assisting in the development of the plan of care in addition to providing appropriate patient/ family/significant other counseling and education.
- Plans patient care based on in-depth knowledge of the specific patient population and/ or protocol, anticipating and identifying physiological and/ or psychological problems commonly encountered including the consideration of the patient's cultural background, level of understanding, personality and support systems. Serves as patient advocate.
- Patient management includes the following: 1) writing admission, transfer and discharge orders; 2) ordering and interpreting appropriate laboratory and diagnostic studies: 3) ordering of appropriate medication and treatments; 4) referring patients for consultation when indicated i.e. dermatology, neurology, ophthalmology, endocrine, surgery, intensive care, infectious disease, hematology, psychiatry, social service, dietary, etc.;5) Documentation through in-depth progress notes and summaries.

Position Overview
The VDC Project Manager plays a pivotal role in advancing construction planning through accurate coordination and quality by integrating reality capture technologies and digital workflows. This position leads the implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM), field technology, and model-based processes to enhance coordination, precision, and efficiency across all phases of the project lifecycle. We are seeking a highly experienced and innovative Principal Controls Engineer to lead the development, optimization and implementation of advanced control systems across critical infrastructure products and automation platforms. This role is critical to ensuring the performance, reliability, and scalability of critical systems, with a strong emphasis on data center infrastructure, power/energy management, and industrial automation.
This role will involve designing and developing wiring harness systems, including schematic creation, harness architecture, panel layout, developing specifications, selecting key components, and transitioning design to manufacturing. Furthermore, the position includes leading test process implementation and ensuring equipment alignment to maintain the highest standards of operational excellence and reliability.
What will you do?
- Define and own the control system architecture across multiple platforms, including PLCs, BMS, EPMS, and ATS systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

We are seeking a highly experienced and innovative Principal Controls Engineer to lead the development, optimization and implementation of advanced control systems across critical infrastructure products and automation platforms.
