ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented ServiceNow Analyst II with 3+ years of experience to support and enhance our IT Operations Management (ITOM) capabilities, Configuration Management Database (CMDB), and Knowledge Management processes within the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a process-oriented mindset, and hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and the broader ITOM suite.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring data integrity, service visibility, and relevant knowledge availability, supporting IT Service Management (ITSM), ITOM, and other business units across the enterprise. WHAT YOU'LL DO:

CMDB (Configuration Management Database):

• Support the maintenance, administration, and enhancement of the CMDB in ServiceNow.
• Perform regular data quality audits using CMDB Health Dashboards, identifying and resolving orphan, stale, or duplicate CIs.
• Collaborate with asset management, IT operations, and infrastructure teams to validate CI data and ensure alignment with the Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
• Assist in defining and maintaining CI classes, relationships, and attributes based on organizational requirements.
• Contribute to CMDB governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure the long-term health and usability of the platform.
• Participate in CMDB audits and compliance activities.

Knowledge Management:

• Serve as the primary analyst and administrator for the ServiceNow Knowledge Management module.
• Assist in designing and implementing knowledge workflows, approval processes, and article lifecycle management.
• Monitor and report on knowledge article usage, feedback, and quality, ensuring content remains accurate, relevant, and accessible.
• Work with knowledge owners and contributors across departments to promote knowledge sharing, standardization, and taxonomy alignment.

• Support Knowledge-Centered Service (KCS) practices, if applicable.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

Senior Manufacturing Engineer - Mechanisms/Test

Castelion is seeking an expert in the manufacture and design of complex mechanisms for our in-house hypersonic vehicle development. This role will work closely with design engineering and technician teams to build and execute on testing and validation efforts to keep pace with the research and development timetable of our products. You will be apart of a team responsible for serving as a critical node in implementing feedback from testing and validation efforts, streamlining designs and implementing manufacturing changes to quickly mature our products for flight testing and production. Desire for product and process ownership is a must in this role.

Responsibilities

• Work with component design engineering teams to determine the manufacturing and testing feasibility of products
• Operate as a standalone resource responsible for a family of mechanisms
• Architect, mature and develop testing and validation procedures for a wide array of complex mechanisms
• Generate concept proposals in alignment with R&D efforts to help attribute requirements gathering
• Down select solutions generated based on quantifiable vehicle attributes, system cost and weight

• Pay range is $20-35/hr (based on skills/knowledge/experience)
• Location: onsite in Carson, CA

Job Description:

• Serve as the first point of contact for technical inquiries via phone, email, live chat, or a ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic product issues related to installation, configuration, and performance for products such as LED fixtures and lighting control systems.
• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support to sales teams and end-users.
• Document customer interactions, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions clearly and accurately within a ticketing system.
• Escalate complex or unresolved issues to engineering teams and track their progress until resolution.
• Maintain and update internal knowledge base articles and documentation for common issues and solutions.
• Identify errors or omissions in customer facing documentation and work with relevant departments to resolve or improve.
• Stay up-to-date with new product launches, technical specifications, and industry standards by participating in regular training sessions.
• Assist with other technical and product-related tasks as assigned, such as creating wiring diagrams or conducting customer training.
• Assist with onsite customer service visits if required.

Requirements:

• Education: Associate's degree or technical school certification in a related field (e.g., electronics, electrical technology) is preferred.
• Experience: 1+ years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a technical support, customer service, or inside sales position.
• Technical knowledge: Basic understanding of electrical systems, LED lighting, and common troubleshooting techniques is highly desirable. Experience with lighting control systems (e.g., DMX, 0-10V, smart home controls) is a plus.
• Customer service skills: Proven ability to provide excellent service and maintain a positive, patient, and professional attitude, especially during stressful situations.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Problem-solving: Strong analytical and diagnostic skills with keen attention to detail.
