Territory Sales Manager - Commercial Lighting
ORE Lighting | Houston, TX | Field-Based
ORE Lighting is seeking an experienced, results-driven Territory Sales Manager to expand our presence in the commercial and industrial lighting market. This field-based, outside sales role focuses on developing new business, managing existing accounts, and driving demand for high-quality lighting solutions, including fixtures, retrofits, and lighting controls.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with proven lighting industry experience who thrives in a relationship-driven, consultative sales environment.
What You'll Do
* Develop new business and grow existing accounts within the assigned territory
* Partner with independent sales agencies, distributors, contractors, specifiers, and end users to drive product demand
* Provide ongoing product training and sales support to agency and distributor partners
* Build long-term, relationship-focused partnerships through exceptional customer service
* Manage and evaluate independent sales agency performance to ensure alignment with company goals
* Create and execute territory sales plans in collaboration with sales leadership and agency partners
* Analyze sales trends, market data, and competitive activity to identify opportunities and guide strategy
* Serve as a market expert on ORE Lighting products, competitor offerings, pricing, and industry trends
* Travel regularly throughout the territory to meet with distributors, specifiers, contractors, and end users
* Maintain accurate CRM records, contact information, and opportunity pipelines
* Prospect and cold call to develop new business opportunities
* Represent ORE Lighting at industry trade shows and events
* Collaborate closely with Inside Sales partners on current and future opportunities
* Provide market feedback to product and leadership teams
* Consistently meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets
Required Qualifications (Must-Haves)
* Lighting industry experience required (candidates without lighting experience will not be considered)
* 3+ years of outside B2B sales experience within the lighting industry
* Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
* Experience working with sales agencies, distributors, and contractors
* Strong consultative selling, training, and presentation skills
* Ability to manage long sales cycles and multiple accounts or territories
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales trends and develop strategies
* Comfortable working independently in a field-based role
* Proficiency with CRM systems and standard sales tools
* Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly within the assigned territory
Preferred Experience
* Commercial or industrial lighting sales background
* Knowledge of LED lighting, lighting controls, and retrofit projects
* Experience selling into manufacturing plants, warehouses, or distribution centers

Responsibilities
Yotta is in the process of staffing up the R&D team located in Los Angeles, with talented game professionals to build our first AAA open world game project. We are looking for a talented and experienced lighting expert who will report to the game director and collaborate with other teams like the cinematics team and technical art team to help create a highly immersive game environment and cutscenes.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Create lighting for all game world environments when taking into account the requirements of gameplay, game narrative and game feel;
- Collaborate with different team members such as level, mission, and narrative designers to present the perfect visuals and the resulting player experience;
- Adjust in-game lighting according to the art directions and the requests of artists;
- Make use of lighting system tools to streamline processes;
- Create lighting for cutscenes, working alongside the Cinematic Director;
- Teach other team members about the finer points of lighting in AAA game design.
Qualifications
We Expect You To Have:
- Over 5 years working experience in lighting;
- Participated in the production of at least 2 shipped AAA games in lighting role;
- Familiarity with Unreal Engine 5 and 3D softwares, especially Lumen in UE5;
- Deep knowledge base in the art of lighting, including the use of light, color, source, brightness, and shadow;
- In-depth knowledge of the latest developments in lighting tech, with experience in various lighting techniques and tools;
- Highly self-motivated, great communication skills and team spirit;
- Passion for the game industry.

- Experience working with international teams in different time zones.

- Hybrid role based in El Segundo (Monday, Wednesday & Thursday on-site)
- Working hours: 11am – 8pm (including one-hour break);
- Salary: 100-140k/year depending on experience.

About the Role As the Lighting Project Specialist, you will be responsible for interpreting blueprints/electrical drawings, utilizing manufacturing software to produce quotes, submittals, and tracking for customers and specializing in electrical lighting controls.
What You'll Do Responsible for estimating all commercial/industrial lighting projects.
Must be proficient in reading blueprints and working with electronic bid management software to produce quotes.
Must be highly organized and efficient to handle multiple projects in the bid stage and help manage projects after the sale is made.
Understands the importance of deadlines and must organize the bid schedule based on complexity and project due dates.
Works well with the Lighting project team, outside sales team, and inside sales team in coordinating bids and managing projects.
Accountability for timely completion and profitability of projects.
Manages and coordinates with all parties involved in the order, both internal and external.
Manages and maintains vendor and customer relationships.

Outside Sales Skills:

As a Project Manager II with Graycor Construction Company, you will have the authority to drive successful project results, moving your projects from preconstruction through final closeout in the safest manner possible while maintaining the highest quality standards.
AS A PROJECT MANAGER II, YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
- Ensure all safety compliance and quality programs are being executed on the project site. Safety is one of our core values.
- Actively participate in bidding and pre-construction services.
- Represent Graycor as the client’s primary contact. Openly and confidently communicate with all other parties involved with the project, establishing trust and rapport with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Manage the performance of the professional support personnel on the project site. This typically includes a Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager, Field Superintendents, and administrative staff.
- Maintain strict control over the budget and keep project on schedule, ensuring ongoing profitability.
- Execute subcontracts and purchase orders, and approve subcontractor invoices and change requests. Negotiate contract changes with the client. Complete close-out requirements for projects and collect final payment.
- Mentor and train Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers to ensure their ongoing career growth and development.
- Implement new ideas. Be an active member and leader within the Graycor Construction Company, actively participating in committees, make recommendations for new initiatives, and embrace new policies related to Safety, Quality, Continuous Improvement Programs, Lean Construction, and Zero Punch Lists.
TO BE A SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:
- A minimum of seven (7) years of relevant construction operations experience, with experience managing distribution center and/or light industrial manufacturing construction projects.
- A bachelor degree, preferably in construction management, engineering or a related field.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 20%.
- The desire to succeed. Our best Project Managers are strong leaders—self-starters who drive excellence and meet high standards.
- Effective communication skills to motivate your team, delegate tasks, and present proposals to clients with competence and confidence.
