THE ROLE:

The Project Manager will be the overall project leader on assigned projects. You will plan and oversee all phases of energy projects with the objective of successful on-time completions within budgets while ensuring that customer satisfaction stays at the highest levels. Projects include a combination of energy efficiency measures and renewable generation installations to help local cities, schools, municipalities, and other customers become more sustainable, save money, and improve services to their end users. The expectation is that you will simultaneously run one or several projects from early development through construction.

You will work with the sales team participating in customer presentations, and you will work with our engineering development team, subcontractors, and consultants to develop cost effective solutions. The role will then transition to a more traditional role managing projects across our portfolio of customers and energy conservations solutions.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative, possess excellent communications skills, and be detail oriented. You must have a genuine passion for building innovative energy reduction solutions and must want to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide constructability review of scopes during project development.

Oversee project deliverables and contractual obligations.

Oversee project team including subcontractors and consultants.

Create, maintain, and manage project schedules, labor plans, and project documents.

Oversee AHJ, DSA, and utility and special inspections to ensure projects receive all necessary permit sign-offs.

Visit active sites to witness and partake in key milestones and ensure progress and quality.

Work with internal and external Procurement resources to contract the project scope across various suppliers.

Develop and maintain multi-month budget/forecasting revenue and payment forecasts.

Manage payment terms and balances with customers and sub-contractors.

Create Schedule of Values (SOV) on all assigned projects in order to maintain positive cash flow.

Manage project commissioning and closeout phase including all requirements needed to successfully complete projects.

Overall financially responsible to meet established budget, including change orders.

Provide consistent and clear communication with internal and external customers.

Ensure quality, timeliness and completeness of work performed.

Adhere to Syserco Energy Solutions’ Policies and Procedures, HR, Safety Plan and others.

Customer satisfaction results shall meet or exceed annual performance goal.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent understanding of construction law and local codes.

Strong analytical and financial management skills.

Proficient with Project Management tools such as MS Project.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Valid CA drivers’ license with ability to drive and operate a vehicle is required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

5 or more years of industry experience.

Undergraduate Degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred.

Strong understanding of Renewable Technology, Building Envelope, HVAC, Lighting, and electrical / mechanical systems.

Purpose

This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of all billing components within the Company’s SAP Customer Information and Billing Systems across all jurisdictions. This role ensures that billing configurations and rate structures are aligned with approved tariffs and regulatory requirements for gas, water, and electric services throughout the U.S. and Canada.

The Manager serves as the enterprise lead for billing system governance, overseeing configuration changes, testing, and validation processes related to tariff updates, rate case implementations, and system enhancements that may impact billing components. Working closely with the Billing, Customer Care, IT, and business operations teams, this individual ensures that billing components function seamlessly and that all updates are implemented with precision and control to mitigate downstream impacts.

Accountabilities

• Ensure all billing components within SAP are properly configured and maintained according to each company’s approved tariffs and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee the timely update of billing tables and configuration changes following any approved rate case or tariff revision.
• Partner closely with leaders for the implementation of billing changes resulting from rate proceedings.
• Verify that all rate elements (e.g., distribution, transmission, riders, taxes, and surcharges, multipliers etc.) are accurately reflected in the billing system.
• Ensure that all rate adjustments, new tariff structures, and regulatory directives are correctly translated into billing system logic.
• Review and assess all proposed billing system enhancement requests from business units to identify and mitigate risks to existing billing component data tables and configuration integrity.
• Direct or support testing activities for all billing system updates, including regression and validation testing, to confirm billing accuracy prior to implementation.
• Develop and maintain processes for documentation, review, and approval of all billing-related system changes.
• Ensure strong controls are in place for versioning, change tracking, and audit compliance.
• Serve as the liaison between Customer Care, IT, and Regulatory teams to ensure that business requirements are properly defined, tested, and implemented in SAP.
• Facilitate working sessions to align on timelines, testing expectations, and deployment strategies.
• Identify and implement process enhancements that improve system accuracy, control robustness, and operational efficiency. Promote standardization of billing practices across jurisdictions where feasible.

Years of Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 5 years' experience preferred
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in utility billing, rate implementation or SAP configuration management.
• Experience working in a regulated utility environment (gas, water, or electric) strongly preferred.
• Prior experience managing billing configuration or master data governance within SAP or similar enterprise systems is required.

Leads day-to-day operations of projects for a general contracting business. Multi-family and senior housing.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Planning and coordination of subcontractors’ work and activities for a project.

· Attend and participate in Safety Training programs and ensures implementation of safety procedures that create a safe and healthy work environment through the job site. Adheres to OSHA safety and record keeping requirements.

· Enforce compliance with project site safety, health, and environmental quality standards.

· Verify subcontractor certificates of insurance.

· Monitor subcontractor personnel to ensure adherence with project plans and promotes quality control of all installations.

· Leads on productivity issues and monitors work performance and productivity of company employees and subcontractors to ensure project plans and schedule are followed and project is executed effectively and within budget.

· Advise senior level management of potential problems, work interference's or schedule difficulties, while assisting in circumventing or mitigating such conflicts. Provides assistance to involved contractors in resolving problems.

· Contributor to development of a thoughtful project pre-plan which includes a CPM schedule, work sequences, manpower utilization, material handling and storage requirements and equipment use.

· Communicate with project team regarding Work Directives, RFI’s, and Material Submittals.

· When requested, interfaces with owner, architect and design professionals to ensure compliance to design intent and owner satisfaction. Facilitates discovery and correction of contract document “errors and omissions” and problem solving to reduce the costs incurred.

· Ensure compliance with all internal and external record keeping requirements, with emphasis on accurate, properly coded employee automated timecards and accurately codes, fully priced material delivery tickets

· Prepare reports, document and complete all punch lists in a timely manner, review all drawings, specifications and subcontractor submittals

· Follow completion schedules and maintain a daily, written log of activities on the jobsite. Logs and reports might include photos and videos

· Use Procore construction management system to perform record-keeping tasks including, composing daily diaries, maintaining project logs and retrieving RFIs, submittal logs and agreements.

· Contribute to building good communications between project management, field engineering, estimating and specialty contractors to ensure construction complies with plans, specifications and company quality standards and that projects are completed on time and within budget.

· Chair or attend pre-job conference, regular subcontractor meetings

· Train, motivate and support subordinate employees in developing their capabilities to further company, project and personal development goals.

· Responsible for continuously expanding and updating professional knowledge and honing training skills to enhance individual and team innovation and productivity.

· Perform additional assignments as directed by supervisors or as required for successful project completion

· Attend and/or lead job meetings and provide thorough reports

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Ability to analyze and develop solutions to complex problems and to communicate effectively with diverse groups required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Performance of the required duties will require physical ability to climb permanent and temporary stairs, passenger use of construction personnel hoists, ability to climb ladders and negotiate work areas under construction. Major Activities And Responsibilities:

General Responsibilities:

• Know and understand FDB business and communicate that knowledge to potential customers
• Establish relationships with technical and business leaders and technical experts within FDB to ensure full and timely support for new business acquisition

Other Requirements:

• Be willing to travel to customers within their territory and to FDB sites in support of sales process. (Travel may average as much as 50% of time in any period and may include international travel.)
• Be able to interact with customers at different levels within the customer's organization from middle management through senior executives
• Possess analytical skills to evaluate and prioritize opportunities in their territory that are potential new business for FDB worldwide

Background Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree required in science, engineering, or business preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience in sales for API contract manufacturing organization, or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum five years relevant experience in sales, marketing, business development, and/or technical biotechnology area.
• Prior P&L experience required.
• Knowledge of major legal issues confronting the biopharmaceutical industry and experience reviewing contracts.
