Interventional Cardiologist Full-Time Opportunity in Dothan, Alabama
VHS is actively seeking a highly skilled Interventional Cardiologist to join our premier cardiology team in Dothan, AL. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate professional to deliver comprehensive cardiovascular care within a leading regional health system.
Position Overview:

• Location: Dothan, Alabama
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM 5:30 PM
• Call Coverage: Shared among a team of eight cardiologists, averaging four calls per month, with potential to decrease as the team expands

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a full spectrum of interventional cardiology procedures, including coronary angiography, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), TAVR, Watchman device implantation, and structural heart interventions
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, vascular surgeons, interventional radiologists, and electrophysiologists
• Participate in the region s only Heart & Vascular Center, which features advanced programs and services
• Provide outpatient and inpatient care, including consultation, diagnostic testing, and post-procedure follow-up
• Maintain active involvement in clinical decision-making and quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Valid Alabama medical license and current DEA certification
• Board certification or eligibility in Interventional Cardiology
• Full competence in interventional cardiology procedures
• Proven excellent clinical skills and commitment to patient-centered care
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
