Job Description Summary:

Cardiac Specialty/ Cardiac Specialty Intermediate is specialized in taking care of a variety of cardiovascular diseases which includes:
Peripheral Vascular: Angiogram, Thrombectomy
Structural Heart: TAVR, SAVR, CABG, Heart Catherization +/- interventions
Heart Failure: Diuresis, Echocardiogram, Blood Pressure Support
Electrophysiology: Pacemaker/ICD, Ablation, Cardioversion, Drug Loading, Temporary Pacemakers

The Cardiac Specialty Intermediate portion of the unit requires specialized training to become competent in caring for that patient population. Training is done 6 months after hired date.

This position provides general nursing care to patients and families along the health illness continuum in diverse health care settings while collaborating with the health care team. He/She/They are accountable for the practice of nursing as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities And Duties:

Assessment/Diagnosis - Performs initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessment as applicable to the population and or individual (30%).

Outcomes Identification/Planning - Based on nursing diagnoses and collaborative problems, documents planned nursing interventions to achieve outcomes appropriate to patient needs (30%).

Implementation/Evaluation - Evaluates and documents response to nursing interventions and achievement of outcomes at appropriately determined intervals; as part of a multidisciplinary team, revises plan of care based on evaluative data (20%).

Leadership - Actively participates in process improvement activities to achieve targeted measures of clinical quality, customer satisfaction, and financial performance (10%).

The Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Interventional Cardiologist for diagnostic and interventional procedures in roles that include scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating. Arrhythmia (EP) Specific:

Vascular Interventional (VIR) Specific:
The VIR Radiologic Technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Interventional Radiologist for minimally invasive, image-guided vascular procedures in roles that include scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating. The technologist must have knowledge of the various imaging equipment in use including fluoroscopy, computed tomography (CT), and ultrasound.
Neuro Interventional Specific:
The Neuro Interventional Radiologic Technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Neuro Interventional Radiologist for diagnostic and interventional procedures. The technologist must have knowledge of the X-ray equipment in use, hemodynamic monitoring, cerebral angiogram coiling, avascular malformations, stroke interventions and sterile technique.

Responsibilities

  • Support our estimating, sales, and project management team through the full lifecycle of assigned projects.
  • Organize all incoming bid, design, and project information in a detailed manner. Assist with project setup, plan take-offs and budgets.
  • Coordinate project tasks such as utility and OUPS orders, permits, and inspections.
  • On a per project basis, purchase required materials, lighting and service equipment. Create accurate purchase orders and coordinate deliveries to coincide with the job schedule.
  • Assist project management with RFI's, bulletins, and plan updates. Organize plan sets, produce project packages for the field and close-out packages when the project is complete.
  • Use problem solving skills to help resolve issues if they arise. Communicate with the field crews, vendors, and customers in a professional and proactive manner.
  • Utilize project management systems such as Procore and other software to keep information organized and accessible.


Qualifications

  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite required. Basic knowledge of Procore, AutoDesk / CAD, BlueBeam or other industry programs is helpful but not required.
  • Detail oriented, highly organized and able to balance multiple projects and tasks at a time.
  • Familiarity with document management and workflow processes.
  • Professional communication skills. Able to understand and communicate matters of technical nature.
  • Eager to learn, has a personal interest in developing new skills and knowledge to advance in your career.


Education and Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Project Management or Electrical Engineering is preferred, but not required.
  • A previous internship or some construction industry experience is ideal.
