PacWest Machinery is seeking qualified heavy equipment Service Technicians in Western Washington to support our growing customer base. We have openings for field-based technicians and positions for those working at our main branch in Kent, WA.

PacWest Machinery provides a full line-up of heavy machinery covering general production, aggregate processing, road, and utility equipment from well-known companies including Volvo Construction, Metso Minerals, Yanmar and others. The successful applicants will support the Company by filling these job responsibilities:

* Diagnose the condition of customer and dealer-owned machines. Perform repair on hydraulic, electrical, mechanical and structural systems. Restore equipment to working order.
* Maintain positive and effective interaction with customers, colleagues and equipment manufacturers.
* Provide accurate records as it relates to repair orders and time cards
* Attend company sponsored factory training classes
* Adhere to company and industry safety practices
* Overtime may be required from time to time

Qualifications - the ideal candidates will possess the following:

* Experience in the repair of heavy construction equipment, attachments, crushing, screening, paving and compaction machines, sweepers, material handling machines, etc.
* Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, transmissions, electrical systems and structural repairs including welding.
* Capable of working with limited supervision (a "self-starter")
* Basic computer skills to perform electronic diagnostics
* Physical capabilities and dexterity are required (lifting up to 75 pounds).
* Complete set of tools to perform related repairs
* High school diploma or GED equivalent. Additional technical classes a plus
* Must have a valid driver`s license and clean DMV record.
* Good references from former employers and colleagues.

The Senior Account Executive owns and facilitates the customer relationship. Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Account Management for business opportunities for our life science, Biotech and Healthcare sector.
  • Develop Strategic Account Plans to penetrate and grow our life science and biotech markets.

Qualifications:

  • An expert at preconstruction, construction management, and mechanical / plumbing estimating with a focus on Life Science and Biotech mechanical systems.
  • Sales/Customer (5+ years) and capable of expanding Hermanson’s expertise and relationships in life science and biotech markets
  • Excel and Bluebeam proficiency preferred.
  • The qualified candidate must have demonstrated the ability to analyze and perform pursue/no pursue and bid/no bid recommendations and develop pursuit strategies for new business opportunities. The position will also require previous experience in evaluation, competitive environment assessment, value-based pricing, price to win analyses and probability of winning. Position Responsibilities:

* Verify kitted parts and assemblies against Work Orders (W/O) and Bills of Material (BOM) to ensure accuracy and quality.

* Initiate planning or engineering change requests for pre-planned jobs as required.
* Set up assembly tools according to instructions and ensure correct locators for model configurations.
* Hand fit parts using jigs and tools to ensure proper alignment and fit.
* Prepare detail parts by trimming, sanding, and deburring as necessary to meet specifications.
* Deliver completed details to the appropriate work area for further processing.
* Select and utilize appropriate drills, reamers, and countersinking tools for hole preparation.

* Apply sealants, primers, and adhesives as required by work orders and specifications.
* Handle and dispose of hazardous materials safely, following approved procedures.
* Obtain the correct type and size of fasteners from the roto-bin per specifications.
* Report job handicaps, such as errors in sequencing, parts, materials, and fabrication procedures.
* Measure and cut tubing to close tolerances, and swage tubing as necessary.
* Conduct in-process checks to ensure compliance with quality requirements and specifications and seek assistance from the team leader when needed.

Physical Demands and Potential Hazards:

* Perform physical tasks that include lifting weights ranging from 10-15 lbs to 15-35 lbs.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with shop personnel or check the Call Sheet for the next job or in-process inspection, obtaining applicable drawings and specifications.

  • Ensure that the correct revisions of drawings and documents are being used, verifying that all paperwork and online systems are complete and accurate.

  • Perform inspections and in-process inspections as required, including crimping, splicing, torque, bond, and ground checks.

  • Conduct various tests and measurements, such as resistance tests, to ensure that wires meet specification requirements.

  • Monitor manufacturing processes and document findings as required to ensure compliance with quality standards.

  • Inspect electrical wire bundles and assemblies, ensuring all parts have been assembled according to drawings and specifications.

  • Screen paperwork for options, substitutions, and effectiveness of parts and materials.

  • Identify, investigate, and document discrepancies, reporting them to the shop as necessary.

  • Reject wire bundles, assemblies, or installations as required, documenting discrepancies and processing Quality Assurance records.

  • Indicate Quality Assurance acceptance on appropriate paperwork and online systems, processing documentation as required.

  • Coordinate and complete travelers, investigating and clearing check orders as necessary.

  • Initiate Inspection Record Change Requests (IRCR) and/or Shipside Action Trackers (SAT) as needed.

  • Ensure that certifications for tools, test equipment, and personnel are current and compliant.

  • Assist other employees by providing information and answering questions regarding functions, methods, and procedures.

  • Perform first article inspections and FAA conformities, coordinating results as required.

  • Enter data into various computing software systems, such as Common Manufacturing Execution System (CMES) and Enterprise Process Evaluation Systems (EPES).

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing to evaluate and improve build processes and defect reduction initiatives.

  • Initiate and document any nonconforming materials or assemblies according to specifications and procedures.

  • Perform audits and surveillance of manufacturing and quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with standards.

  • Witness or perform electrical continuity, voltage, resistance, capacitance, and bond or ground testing as required.

  • Calibrate and certify electrical process tools, such as loggers, strippers, and crimpers.

Typical tasks include creating 3D models and associated drawings or editing existing models/drawings all while ensuring they follow company drafting standards: detail, sheet metal, weldment, and assembly drawings are typical.

No new design activity will be within scope of this position.

Key Responsibilities: Correct redlined models/drawings issued by drafting lead or engineering/development teams Convert legacy hand drawn and AutoCAD drawings into 3D models and associative drawings Create 2D drawings from existing 3D models from other users Collect data from engineering teams and incorporate information into appropriate drawing Collect measurements/information from production floor to incorporate into drawings Required Education: Candidates should possess one of the following, but other technical degrees with demonstrated skills in drafting will be considered: o A.A.S.

Mechanical Engineering Technology degree o A.O.S.

Drafting/CAD degree o Drafting Certificate/Certification Candidates without degrees must demonstrate proficiency in 2D and 3D drafting Required Experience and Skills: Minimum of 2 years professional experience in the mechanical drafting field Working knowledge of ASME/ANSI drafting standards General Windows-based computer skills Proficient in the use of Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk Vault software Able to adapt to company standards and guidelines Strong work ethic Strong attention to detail Interview Process: 1 Phone screen or Teams call 2 In Person Interview About us: DivIHN, the 'IT Asset Performance Services' organization, provides Professional Consulting, Custom Projects, and Professional Resource Augmentation services to clients in the Mid-West and beyond.
