Responsibilities- Consistently delivers and books an annual average of $2-3M in total anticipated profit (as aligned with profit plans) with a focus on building high quality backlog
- Develops and executes a Business Development (BD) plan/pipeline with consultation and guidance from the Director/Senior Director of Business Development, including: Individual BD Roadmap, Market Sector Analysis, Focus/Must Win/Strategic/Strategic Few, and Expected Hit Ratio aligned with BL market mix and gross profit targets
- Contributes to the BU business plan and goals
- Maintains benchmark target of 8-10 focus prospects in CRM at all times, reflecting a mix of clients aligned with BU goals
- Demonstrates a mix of new and residual sales
- Creates and articulates capture and differentiation strategy for each focus pursuit
- Develops champions on pursuits and regularly completes majority of pre-sell steps
- Develops understanding of market conditions

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Business, Marketing, or related industry experience

Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. For Arlington, VA this ranges from $130,600.00 - $179,500.00 plus benefits and retirement program.

About the role:
Based in Washington, DC this role is responsible for increasing Thryv’s penetration to the existing client base, increasing client engagement with existing software clients, and growing the SaaS client base through new sales. This role calls on existing clients to nurture and grow relationships while identifying and pursuing new client opportunities to meet a predetermined sales quota. The Software Account Executive conducts greater than 50% of their work outside their home office.
- Contacts assigned clients and presents opportunities for additional sales and/or extended usage based on client needs.

A Superintendent’s role is to effectively monitor, direct, and coordinate field operations. To work together with all Project Managers and Engineers to form an effective management team for our clients. Duties to include but not limited to:
Essential Functions

- Initiates, attends, or conducts meetings with assigned employees/work crews to meet project objectives and work schedules.
- Guides and assists employees in identifying, analyzing and resolving obstacles to meet task/project schedules.
- Works with field manager in personnel alignment and scheduling to facilitate weekly action plans.
- Reviews and interprets blueprints/shop drawings and other project documents to formulate an accurate management approach.
- Provides training to Foreman, laborers and other field personnel.
- Clearly understands scope of work/responsibilities of other trades at jobsites.
- Makes routine inspections of assigned projects to verify project scope and specifications, company standards, and compliance are within local and National Electric Code.
- Accurately documents project work situations in a timely manner, both written and verbal, to ensure protection of the Company through proper documentation (i.e. possible liens and or claims).
- Ability to visualize completed work prior to installation.
- Understands and follows state, and local codes.
- Understanding and enforcement of O.S.H.A. requirements and performs safety inspections and weekly toolbox talks.
- Inspects subcontractor performance to conform to contract agreements and schedules.
- Conducts project closings, updates punch lists, and creates information for record drawings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Skills and Competencies:
- Must have at least seven years of experience as Superintendent with knowledge of multiple construction trades.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management preferred.
- Must have an OSHA 30, First Aid, and CPR Certification.
- Ability to obtain security clearance.
- Industrial and Government Construction experience is a plus.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Possess extreme familiarity with several different door vendors
- Detail all projects, including the creation of price, identification of mistakes or errors in design and specification, and the communication with customers as needed

- Handle all Commercial Door, Frame, and Hardware take-offs.
- Provides assistance to sales team and customer by providing knowledge and expertise during the estimating and buy-out phases of projects
- Assist and lead team with blueprint reading, specification interpretation and construction procedures
- Review actual used vs. estimated for materials on completion of each project
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Assist operations teams with order verification and writing as a “second set of eyes” when schedule allows
- Assist operations teams with review of revised project documents / changes when schedule allows
Education and Experience:
- B.S. Degree in civil engineering, construction management, architecture, finance, or accounting is preferred
- 7+ years of experience specializing in the Door, Frames, and Hardware Field

Operational Cadence, Planning & Briefings
- Build and manage weekly agendas for Directors of Operations
- Prepare structured read-aheads, daily briefings, and priority summaries
- Identify opportunities for the President to have focused, uninterrupted work time
Project & Initiative Tracking
- Track cross-functional initiatives, deadlines, and milestones
- Monitor key metrics and dashboards; flag trends or operational risks
- Provide concise synthesis for decision-making
Calendar & Email Management
- Own complex calendar and prioritization workflows
- Protect executive focus time and navigate competing internal demands
- Triaging inbox communications; prepare summaries and recommended responses
Communication & Relationship Management
- Liaise between the President and senior leaders
- Maintain consistent communication tone and professionalism on the executive’s behalf
- Build trust and rapport across a fast-paced operations environment
Other Responsibilities
- Limited travel (approximately every other month) for onsite operational sessions
- Support special assignments, meetings, expenses, and coordination tasks
- Occasional early morning/early evening availability when required
Required Experience
Must-Haves
- 5-10+ years supporting senior executives (C-suite strongly preferred)
- Proven experience acting as a proxy or representing an executive in meetings
- Experience supporting multiple senior leaders simultaneously
- Exposure to metrics, dashboards, or operational reporting
- Project management experience or strong project coordination background
- Demonstrated ability to operate with limited direction
