We are seeking an accomplished and strategic General Manager to oversee all aspects of our manufacturing facility in Summerville, SC. Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership & Operational Excellence

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Overview

We are seeking a driven and team-oriented Preconstruction Manager to lead and manage the preconstruction phase of our commercial construction projects across healthcare, education, and municipality sectors. The ideal candidate brings both estimating expertise and real-world operations experience, working side-by-side with our Operations team to ensure a seamless transition from concept through construction. A strong understanding of Construction Management-at-Risk (CMAR) and Design-Build delivery methods is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of the preconstruction process, including budgeting, estimating, scheduling, and client coordination, with full ownership of deliverables.
• Partner closely with Operations teams throughout preconstruction to align on scope, logistics, constructability, staffing, scheduling, and execution strategy.
• Develop and manage preconstruction schedules, milestone tracking, and client-facing deliverables.
• Support business development efforts including proposals, interviews, conceptual budgeting, and relationship-building with clients and industry partners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Pre-construction & Estimating 

• Assist in the preparation of conceptual, schematic, and GMP estimates

Job Description

QUALITY CONTROL ENGINEER - Civil

Overview

The QA/QC Engineer (Civil) is responsible for ensuring that all civil construction activities are executed in compliance with project specifications, engineering standards, and applicable codes. This role oversees inspection processes, prepares quality documentation, verifies construction workmanship, and collaborates with contractors and project teams to ensure adherence to quality plans and international standards such as ASTM, ACI, ISO 9001, and project‑specific QA/QC requirements. This is an onsite position.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities*:

• Maintains and executes the project-specific QA/QC Plan with scopes of work and work procedures.
• Develop engineering procedures, including document control, submissions management, creation and tracking of Request For Information (RFIs), material samples, documentation and tracking of potential cost changes, documentation and tracking of approved change orders, within budgetary guidelines.
• Implement project-specific QA/QC Plan in coordination with the project safety plan.
• Ensure strict adherence to ethics and compliance requirements at all times.
• Establish and maintain working relationships with owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors and vendors to ensure that the project-specific QA/QC Plan delivers a fully compliant project.
• Understand the project execution plan and coordinate Quality Control procedures at appropriate stages of the work and in line with the project schedule.
• Continually improve strategies and tools to efficiently and effectively document, track and record compliance with the contract documents.
• Execute the project-specific QA/QC Plan in a manner that engages all project staff, subcontractors, vendors and consultants.
• Conduct testing and inspections and arrange for third-party testing and inspections. Analyze and report the results.
• Expand the development of the Plan as the project progresses as appropriate to expand the program by continually improving procedures.
• Oversight of the development of Daily Construction Reports (DCRs).
• Oversight of the development of punch lists.
• Direct removal and replacement of, and document all non-compliant materials and/or workmanship. Document compliance after corrective work is completed prior to starting any subsequent work.
• Research and apply additional Quality Control and Lean procedures to enhance the quality of project delivery.
• Oversight of project close-out and quality reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years related/relevant experience ideally from the General Contractor side of the business.

• Physical Requirements:
• Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, and handling materials.
• Must be able to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
• Capable of standing and walking for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

We are seeking a versatile and team-oriented Structural Project Engineer in our Structural Team, ideally located in the Syracuse or Albany, NY area, or at our Endwell, NY office.
