As a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer (Aircraft and Maintenance) at Reliable Robotics, you'll play a critical role in developing and continuously improving our manufacturing, installation, and maintenance processes to meet design, regulatory, and business requirements (including safety, quality, cost, and on-time delivery). Responsibilities

• Responsible for installation, inspection, maintenance, repair, modification, testing, and fabrication of the Reliable-designed mechanical, electromechanical, and electrical/avionics assemblies, harnessing, interconnects, and other commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) products

• Conduct design for excellence (DFx) reviews to evaluate designs for cost, producibility, inspectability, consistency, adequacy, accuracy, and conformance to requirements

• Collaborate with design, quality, and certification teams to embed manufacturability, compliance, and risk mitigation in all phases of product development (e.g., prototype, R&D, certification, and production)

• Develop and ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, quality management system, technical bulletins, engineering orders, service bulletins, and airworthiness directives

• Develop processes to ensure accurate, current, and complete documentation (installation and inspection records, logbook entries, etc.) is utilized and maintained

• Lead root-cause analysis and implement timely corrective actions to maintain schedule, quality, and reliability

• Ensure an adequate supply of tools, serviceable parts, components, and consumables necessary for aircraft servicing and maintenance is maintained

• Oversee routine/non-routine aircraft installations, inspections, and maintenance to ensure aircraft safety and availability across multiple airframes

Basic Success Criteria

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, aerospace, systems engineering, or 7+ years of relevant experience leading aircraft maintenance/modification operations

• 7+ years of aircraft design, manufacturing, inspection, and/or testing experience

• 2+ years of experience leading complex projects or programs in aerospace, autonomy, or robotics

In your role as Sr Avionics Hardware Engineer, you will design, analyze, document, test, and troubleshoot electronic assemblies at the circuit board through integrated electro-mechanical level. As a Radar Hardware Design Engineer, you will be a part of our Radar Engineering team. The Radar Engineering team is comprised of a small cross-functional team of motivated and experienced engineers; we're responsible for designing, building, and testing cutting-edge phased array radar systems from concept to certified product. Responsibilities

In your role as a Radar Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing digital and analog circuits for our next-generation Radar system. You will be involved in all phases of development, from conception to production, tracing system-level requirements through to circuit-level design. You will drive the design and layout of a multi-processor with an FPGA on chip using DDR 4 memory, as well as designing switching and linear power supplies. The high-speed digital design is complemented by high-frequency analog and RF design up to 12GHz. You will own the schematic, layout, artwork generation and bring-up of hardware. You will be collaborating with the cross-functional teams, including mechanical and system engineering. You will be responsible for the certification of your design to DO-160, DO-254 design assurance and FCC certification. As a Sr. Quality Assurance and Reliability Engineer, you'll be a part of the Production organization. Responsibilities

• Work with the design, manufacturing, test, and flight teams to produce reliable products, ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvement across the business. You'll have the opportunity to work directly with flight hardware in the factory and on the plane, run investigations and containment on safety-critical products, and watch your processes build the first certifiable autonomous aircraft.

• Partner with design, manufacturing, and test teams through product development, acceptance testing, and quality checkouts to create reliable hardware verification for flight components and systems, including identification of key operating characteristics, prototype development testing for functionality and manufacturability, flight and prototype planning development, and collation of test anomalies and lessons learned.

• Develop and manage the quality management system to ensure compliance with processes, work instructions, certifications, and regulatory requirements.

• Investigate anomalies in manufacturing, supply chain, testing, and flight, identifying and mitigating the immediate and underlying root causes to manage risk and improve the reliability of designs and processes.

• Support the development, manufacturing, and verification of products using continuous improvement and statistical techniques.

• Develop, implement, and validate test and inspection methodologies for new and existing products, ensuring objective criteria are consistently met and quality goals are met.

• Derive, automate, and report quality metrics to the business and provide recommendations for design, product, and process improvements.

Basic Success Criteria

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace, Software Engineering, or a similar advanced degree

• 7+ years of professional experience in design engineering, manufacturing, test, software, or quality and reliability engineering

• 2+ years of professional experience with investigations, design of experiments, and other investigatory and problem-solving methods

• Experience with quality, risk, and/or safety management systems and processes

Preferred Criteria

• 2+ years of experience with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulatory requirements (e.g., 14 CFR 21, DO-160, D0-254, etc.)

• 2+ years of programming experience in Python, C, or SQL with an emphasis on data analysis and automation

• Experience evaluating, defining, strategizing, and executing test campaigns and procedures

• Experience developing engineering infrastructure and tools in support of the Quality Management System (QMS)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
