We are currently seeking a Sr. Manager, Engineering to join our Minneapolis Milk Plant in Minneapolis, MN. In this newly created role, you will oversee and manage all aspects of the engineering and maintenance functions optimizing productivity and maintaining the facility’s infrastructure and equipment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure mechanical and electrical expertise is available to production and other departments to maintain production systems, utilities, buildings, and grounds in a 24-hour 7-day per week operation.
- Ensure the site has an effective predictive/preventative maintenance program which has a maintenance strategy for all assets to remove unscheduled down time, increase the lifespan of assets by keeping them in optimal condition, and contain maintenance strategies so assets are timely maintained to minimize costs of asset breakdowns.
- Utilize a computerized maintenance management system to optimize asset utilization through scheduled preventative maintenance.
- Collaborate with plant management and corporate staff to utilize equipment to improve employee safety, production quality, equipment reliability, and overall equipment effectiveness by utilizing Continuous Improvement techniques and a Management Operating Structure (MOS).
- Collaborate with senior management to identify and prioritize capital improvement projects. Recommend expense or capital projects which are necessary or will improve productivity, safety, or operational efficiency.
- Remain current with the latest and emerging industry regulations and codes relative to mechanical and electrical systems design and operation.
- Prepare and manage the department’s budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
- Perform replacement analysis of equipment considering space costs, depreciation, service life, and maintenance costs; advise production management of information and recommend appropriate actions.
- Source and evaluate vendors, contractors, and suppliers to obtain quality products and services at competitive prices. Negotiate contracts and agreements with external parties as necessary.
- Promote a safe and environmentally sound workplace that complies with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Provide management of employees directly or through supervisors to ensure effective selection, retention, development, disciplinary action, and performance management. If a collective bargaining agreement exists, may participate in negotiations, grievances, or other contract-related activities and discussions.
- Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline is strongly preferred.
- 8+ years’ experience in engineering or maintenance functions in a food manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience of maintenance personnel is required.
- Experience managing budgets and capital projects.
- Ability to develop, scope, schedule, budget, and lead plant capex projects utilizing CAD and/or other tools.
- Experience with electrical motor control circuitry up to 480V 3 phase is preferred.
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting; Allen Bradley experience preferred.
- Ammonia/Refrigeration level 2 certification required (or willing to obtain certification).
- Boiler 1B or greater MN license required (or willing to obtain certification).

The Lead Facility Operations is responsible for overseeing the Operations department of their club in the delivery of Life Time's cleanliness standards. They provide leadership for the operations department in the fulfillment of Life Time's mission statement. - Full-time position located in downtown Minneapolis. Hybrid schedule available after training (4 days onsite, 1 day remote).
- Compensation range: $48,000 – $91,000 annually, depending on experience and practice area alignment.
- Standard business hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

s a Benefit Customer Service Representative you will have the rewarding opportunity to help our client members through the enrollment process and when making updates to their health care and/or pension plans.
We allow you the freedom to take the time necessary to provide the highest level of service.
You will start out on one client, and with dedication to our clients and Willis Towers Watson, you will be cross trained to provide assistance on multiple clients.
You will spend your day either on the phone, or providing assistance through webchat conversations and email.
We provide superior service center environment in professional buildings where you will be recognized for your dedication.
During our busy season you will be expected to work a 40 hour week and overtime when requested.
During our off season, your hours will fluctuate between 32 to 40 hours depending on client need.

Key Responsibilities • Quickly build rapport and respond to customers in a compassionate manner by identifying and exceeding expectations by responding in a respectful, accurate, timely manner, consistently meeting commitments via phone, email and instant message • Ability to customize customer service approach to meet all types of member communication styles and personalities while maintaining professionalism, and diplomacy during difficult calls • Handle confidential information with sensitivity and discretion in accordance with HIPAA and Data Privacy laws and company data security requirements • Skillfully translate health and welfare and pension terms, complex plan information and processes into simple explanations and instructions that customers can understand and act upon.
• Read and understand client’s plan documents and online knowledgebase tools while collecting relevant information to determine immediate requests/questions and also to anticipate the future needs of the member • Demonstrate knowledge, understanding and compliance with company and client procedures and guidelines providing appropriate and accurate information • Maintain and document complete and accurate call and case notes in a professional manner • Regularly participate in team meetings and training • You will spend the majority of your time assisting customers • Perform other duties as assigned The Requirements About YOU: You are excited to learn new things, have strong computer skills, and are self-motivated to always improve while coming to work every day on-time.
You have patience, and the ability to listen and recognize the needs of our client members.
You have strong written commination skills, both written and verbal, and are dedicated to well written client notes and instant message communications without the use of slang or emoji’s.

- NORMAL Business Hours Required • Excellent ability to communicate effectively using the English language in a customer service setting, including verbal and written communication skills in a grammatically correct way • Ability to quickly assess member concerns and formulate a response/resolution using analytical and problem solving skills • Ability to work in a structured environment – adhering, following protocols • High level attention to detail, multi-tasking, and ability to organize work • Experience using Microsoft Office with a strong ability to juggle multiple open computer windows to answer questions while on the phone/instant messaging • Ability to work autonomously in a self-paced, self-motivated team environment • Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions • Ability to type 30 words a minute • Must have excellent attendance and be punctual to work • Experience working in a customer service environment • High School degree required
