Director, Chemical Engineering & Manufacturing
Salary Range: $171,000 - $224,500 Financial compensation packages may be higher/lower than what is listed, and will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, internal equity, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs & market demand
Lead the development, scale-up, and industrialization of advanced medical chemistries for commercial manufacturing/production. Responsible for driving process development, ensuring robust process capability and applying design of experiments (DOE) methodologies to optimize chemical manufacturing processes. Proven track record of successfully scaling chemistry-based products in a regulated environment required. Job duties:
- Leadership in Chemical Manufacturing: Oversee all aspects of chemical production and engineering for new and existing products, ensuring compliance with medical device and regulatory standards.
- Process Development & Optimization: Drive process development initiatives, applying design of experiments and statistical methods to achieve high-quality, cost-effective production.
- Industrialization & Scale: Lead efforts to scale and industrialize medical chemistries from pilot to full commercial production.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or chemistry.
- Minimum twelve (12) years of relevant professional experience in chemical manufacturing/production and chemical engineering, with demonstrated success in process development and industrialization.
- Minimum five (5) years of leadership or management experience/responsibility.
- Proven track record of scaling and industrializing medical chemistries for commercial success.
- Strong knowledge of Six Sigma engineering (Black Belt trained).
- Expertise in the design of experiments, process capability, and process development methodologies.
- Experience in medical device or regulated chemical manufacturing environments.

About the Role:
Refactor Games is a AAA sports video game studio. We are developing the next generation of professional football (soccer) video games using Unreal Engine 5.
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Game Designer to design, implement, and iterate core game systems that define how our AAA European football video game feels, behaves, and engages players — across gameplay, modes, progression, and meta structures. You’ll work hands-on within Unreal Engine (Blueprints and scripting) to prototype, tune, and ship systems while bridging the gap between creative design vision and engineering execution.
In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with designers, engineers, animators, UX, and production to ensure our football systems, from player mechanics to match-level logic, are robust, reusable, well-documented, and optimized for performance.

Experience:
- 3+ years of professional game design or technical design experience.
- Including work on at least one shipped title (AAA or high-quality).
What You'll Work On:
- Implement gameplay systems using Unreal Engine Blueprints and gameplay scripting, ensuring fidelity, performance, and scalability across content.
- Prototype new systems and features rapidly in editor and iterate based on feedback from design reviews and playtests.
- Collaborate with engineering to define architecture, data flow, and scripting standards for game systems.
- Tune system behavior for balance, player experience, and performance, using telemetry and designer instinct.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams (AI, animation, UX, economy, live ops) to ensure game systems integrate cleanly across features.

The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Georgia Tech currently has over 625 undergraduate students, nearly 400 graduate students, and 55 tenure-track faculty members. Salary range:
The UC academic salary scales set the minimum pay at appointment. See the following table for the current salary scale for this position: . TSP hourly rate $65. The current full-time salary range for Lecturer positions is $75,301 - $199,722. Starting salary is commensurate with highest degree, teaching experience, and equity within the department.

Position description
The Jacobs Institute for Design Innovation in the College of Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley, is seeking qualified temporary instructors to teach undergraduate courses, graduate courses, and/or special topics workshops should an opening arise in the Fall and Spring semesters, or for the Summer term. Applicants should accurately list their specializations so they can be properly evaluated as course needs arise; the existence of this pool does not guarantee that a position is available.
Lecturers supervise student design projects, give lectures, prepare assignments and project topics & deliverables, hold regular office hours, prepare exams or hold reviews, give design advice, and submit final grades.
In addition to lecturers, we also seek Teacher Special Programs (TSP) instructors, should an opening arise. The TSP's principal responsibilities can range from teaching a short course, providing a lecturer with industry expertise, participating in design critiques during a course, teaching at Jacobs Institute boot camps or workshops, or contributing to major curriculum development.
