Position Overview

Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead mechanical construction projects supporting a large hospital development in Portland, Oregon.

This role is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of mechanical construction projects, including budget management, subcontractor coordination, client relations, project scheduling, and safety oversight. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience managing $5M+ healthcare or commercial mechanical construction projects, with a strong background in HVAC systems and mechanical subcontracting environments.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Execution

  • Oversee all aspects of project implementation in accordance with contract requirements

Financial & Contract Management

Project Systems & Reporting

Safety & Quality Management

  • Promote a safe work environment through safety planning, job hazard analyses, and site walkthroughs

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors

Team Leadership

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to Project Managers and project teams

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of project management experience in mechanical construction or related fields
  • Experience working for a mechanical subcontractor or MEP contractor
  • Hands-on HVAC construction experience
  • Experience managing $5M+ commercial or hospital construction projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
  • Equivalent field experience in HVAC or plumbing construction leadership may be considered

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join the Delano team. Follows good manufacturing practices (GMP) and principles to provide engineering support and develop robust manufacturing processes. Has a primary role in the engineering of new, modified and/or existing manufacturing operations in a clean-room environment. Apply engineering theory and principles to ensure that the Value Stream for specific products is optimized using Lean Sigma tools.


Responsibilities

  • Analyze product specifications and translate these into manufacturing processes to establish production rates, achieve expected quality levels and establish reliability of finished product.
  • Identifies tooling related issues and communicates/works with a tool maker to resolve the issues.
  • Develop manufacturing methods for new and existing products, establish labor standards and develop product cost information.
  • Meticulously document all manufacturing process information and sequences within the Trelleborg document control system.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement to existing processes and methods using data or observation. Develop the improvements and implement them as quickly as practical.

The Lead Equipment Installation Mechanical Technician is a senior-level technical role responsible for leading and executing complex mechanical equipment installations.
