The Systems Architect, Device and Edge Software is responsible for defining and guiding the architecture of device-level, embedded, and edge software solutions that support connected and intelligent industrial products. This role ensures that software deployed on devices, controllers, sensors, and edge platforms is scalable, secure, reliable, and aligned with enterprise product and platform objectives.

The architect partners closely with product management, engineering, and digital teams to translate business and customer requirements into robust technical foundations. These foundations enable consistent product behavior, efficient lifecycle management, and high-quality user experiences-- including IoT-enabled hybrid mobile applications-across a range of industrial environments.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Define and maintain reference architectures, design patterns, and technical standards for device, embedded, edge, and mobile-connected software.
• Establish common approaches for firmware, edge applications, data handling, communications, and lifecycle management.
• Ensure architectural decisions support scalability, reliability, safety, and security requirements.

Innovation Leadership:

• Drive the strategic use of AI and ML by establishing data feedback loops, AI/ML pipelines, and model lifecycle management-treating data as a product and AI as a platform differentiator.
• Own a portion of the internal technology radar and innovation pipeline, regularly evaluating and incorporating transformative technologies.
• Foster a culture of agile innovation, engineering excellence, and continuous learning.
• Help build a culture of secure, ethical, and transparent technology practices-leading compliance with cybersecurity, privacy, and responsible AI frameworks.

• Partner with product management and engineering teams to enable new and evolving connected product capabilities.
• Guide architectural decisions related to embedded compute, edge processing, sensors, mobile-connected workflows, and advanced software features.
• Promote reuse and consistency of software components across devices, edge platforms, and hybrid mobile applications.

• Define patterns for integration between device and edge software, hybrid mobile applications, and enterprise or cloud-based platforms.
• Ensure solutions support a range of deployment models, including online, offline, and hybrid environments.
• Promote interoperability with internal systems and third-party technologies where appropriate.

• Define secure-by-design architectural principles, including device identity, access control, and software update mechanisms.
• Ensure alignment with applicable safety, quality, and industrial cybersecurity standards.
• Participate in design and architecture reviews to assess risk, resilience, and compliance.

• Collaborate across product management, software, hardware, manufacturing, service, IT, and mobile application development teams.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineers / engineering teams.
• Influence architectural decisions through expertise, data, and collaboration rather than direct authority.
• Partner with Product Management to translate market-defined requirements into scalable, maintainable, and extensible platform capabilities.
• Partner with Product Management, Customer Success, and Field Service teams to ensure user-centric roadmap delivery.
• Serve as the technical voice in strategic customer conversations and enterprise implementations.
• Ensure strong integration between cloud software, IoT hardware, and connected products ecosystem.

• This role does not have direct reports but is expected to provide technical leadership and architectural guidance across multiple teams.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field required; Master's degree preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in embedded systems, firmware, device software, edge computing, or IoT-connected mobile application ecosystems, with demonstrated experience in architectural design or technical leadership roles.
• Experience delivering software for industrial, connected, or safety-critical products preferred.

Knowledge / Skill Requirements:

• Strong understanding of embedded, edge, and IoT-connected mobile application architectures.
• Experience designing systems that support hybrid mobile applications (online/offline, secure local connectivity, cloud synchronization).
• Ability to think systemically across hardware, software, edge, and mobile boundaries.
• Experience balancing innovation with scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.

Lactalis American Group, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a 3rd shift Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician based in Belmont, Wisconsin. This position will require the ability to work in a team atmosphere as well as individually to repair, install, adjust, or maintain production and packaging equipment. This will also include equipment that is servo-mechanical as well as electro-mechanically operated. All work needs to be done in a clean sanitary manor as required in a food manufacturing plant. Candidates must be available to work weekends.

* Align, fit, or assemble component parts and hardware, using hand or power tools

Sign On Bonus & Pay: We are offering a $2,000* Hiring Bonus to new hires for hourly positions. *Bonus amount is a gross amount. $1,000 will be paid out in the paycheck following 90 days of active employment; an additional $1,000 will be paid out in the paycheck following 180 days of active employment. *Temporary, part-time and certain rehired employees are not eligible. *Attendance and performance rules apply.

Pay: $35.75 to $39.40/hr + $2.50/hr 3rd shift premium, dependent upon skills and experience. Weekend premium: 20% more ($7.15/hour to $7.88/hour).

The Quality Supervisor - Sanitation is responsible for leading the implementation of the Sanitation Programs throughout the manufacturing plant located in Wausau, WI. This person also owns the monitoring of the environmental indicators across the site. This position is the technical liaison between the plant, headquarters, sanitation chemical company, and pest control company with align duties with the company's goals and values.

• Own programs and training procedures for all production lines and overall facility sanitation.

• Partner with business leaders on process improvements including leading change initiatives, planning, validating and implementation.
• Manage and evaluate the Sanitation department staff including but not limited to performance management and employee development.
• Participate in required audits (FSSC, FDA/WDA, customer audits, etc.) and assist in the development of procedures and corrective actions.
• Facilitate relationship between the plant and external services provided that are related to sanitation and environmental monitoring. Includes sanitation chemicals, pest control, water, etc.

SUMMARY: Ensuring the safety and regulatory compliance of food contact packaging materials is a critical business requirement. The Corporate Regulatory Compliance Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining programs that establish our packaging materials are in compliance with regulations in North America, Europe, and other countries our packaging materials are sold in. By applying technical, organizational and project managerial skills, guidance will be provided to Packaging R&D, Sales, Quality, and Manufacturing teams on packaging regulatory matters.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, as well as other duties as assigned.

• Own, Develop, and Manage internal processes, governance and systems/databases to efficiently maintain regulatory compliance of packaging materials; both supplier regulatory information and communications to customers.
• Facilitate and implement legal advice into our business regarding food contact material compliance.
• Respond to customer surveys and requests for regulatory information.
• Collaborate with external suppliers to ensure newly developed or revised packaging materials meet regulatory requirements of targeted applications.
• Proactively anticipates potential hurdles and works with sales and technical teams to resolve.
• Keep abreast of key regulatory and consumer developments for packaging materials via workgroups, literature reviews and industry news. Determine business implications, communicate with cross functional stakeholders, and put action plans in place to address.
• Represent APC at conferences and participation in professional association activities including industry workgroups focused on packaging and food safety.
• Provide training and guidance on regulatory requirements for packaging specifications.
• Manage verification testing and maintain requirements to ensure our packaging materials are safe for use as intended.
• Lead the process to ensure that new materials entering our facilities have been evaluated for food safety and that they are safe for their intended use.
• Manage the process for other packaging based regulatory information to include USP, Drug Master File, Sustainable Materials, End of Life Packaging Responsibilities such as EPR and PPWR, and other material certifications.

Organizational Relationships:

• Reports directly to the Director of R&D and Technical Solutions who provides overall strategic direction.
• Manages direct report(s) to ensure objectives are met and the team is responsive to customers and other stakeholders.
• Interacts with Customers, Suppliers, Sales, Purchasing, Technical, Quality, and Manufacturing Departments at each Center of Excellence to ensure materials have been assessed for their intended use, and supports the required customer documentation as needed.

Job Summary
Under the direction of the Lead Manufacturing Supervisor, the Processing Technician 2 is responsible for supporting the injection molding departments' operational goals. The primary responsibilities of this role will include Start-up of all down machines when ready, attending and actively participating in tech meetings, housekeeping, checking process parameters while ensuring all alarms are on and active, submitting first pieces to the Quality Lab, completing material changes, and setting scales. The Processing Technician 2 will provide troubleshooting support to the production group to correct problems. This role will act as the liaison between Production and the Process Engineering dept. This will be achieved by maintaining HellermannTyton's Quality and EHS certifications by supporting all corporate policies, procedures, work instructions and required documentation.

Essential Functions:
