We are a food manufacturing startup, Orange and Fifth, currently in the "build" phase. We don’t have a 500-page SOP manual or a dedicated department for every task. What we do have is a vision, a facility, and a lot of work to do before our early-2027 launch. Led by a seasoned entrepreneur with a previous successful exit in food manufacturing, we are launching a fresh snack brand and looking for a foundational team member who views "lack of structure" as an opportunity to build it themselves. What You’ll Do

Through the remainder of 2026, your "typical day" doesn't exist. You will be responsible for:

• Systems & Finance: Building complex costing spreadsheets, managing initial budgets, and translating data into professional PowerPoint decks for stakeholders.
• Logistics & Admin: Handling office setup, reviewing vendor contracts, and managing the nitty-gritty of facility logistics.
• Supply Chain: Sourcing and ordering raw ingredients, vetting suppliers, and managing early-stage inventory.
• R&D Support: Organizing product testing runs and—yes—getting your hands dirty on the production floor during trial runs.
• Process Design: Helping us decide how we work by implementing the first iterations of our scheduling and procurement workflows.

Who You Are

• Highly Technical: You have a degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field. You think in logic and spreadsheets.
• The "Figure-It-Out" Factor: You are comfortable with ambiguity. If you don't know the answer, you’ll find it before anyone even realizes there was a question.
• Food/Manufacturing Savvy: You have a background in manufacturing (ideally food). You understand the pace, the safety standards, and the nuances of a production environment.
• Meticulous: You have a "measure twice, cut once" mentality. Small details in a contract or a recipe matter to you.
• Multitasker: You can pivot from a high-level financial model to moving a pallet jack in the same hour without losing your cool.

Sterling Engineering is partnering with a well-established manufacturing organization to identify a Design Engineering Manager to lead a multi-site engineering team. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on strengthening team engagement, driving technical excellence, and improving design and development processes across multiple locations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, and provide hands-on support to a large engineering team across multiple states in the Midwest

• Experience with packaging design, preferably within thermoforming, is highly preferred

• Willingness to travel 25–30%

Pay range and compensation package

The Welding & Finishing Supervisor oversees our welding and grinding work centers and provides employees with the resources and training needed to achieve operational objectives. They coordinate with other supervisors to maintain an efficient flow of parts and materials and share their expertise to achieve production objectives.

Position is 2nd shift. Regular production hours are Monday - Thursday, 3pm to 1 am. Position alternates coverage when there is Friday night overtime.

What You’ll Do:

• Supervise the Grinding and Welding Departments, monitoring employee attendance, performance, and time off.
• Work with fellow supervisors, production control, purchasing, and management to ensure the smooth flow of parts and materials.
• Provide updates on issues and priority jobs to keep operations on track.
• Address quality concerns by evaluating performance, updating procedures, or submitting engineering changes as necessary.
• Enforce and ensure compliance with safety rules and regulations.
• Attend and actively participate in company meetings.

What You’ll Need:

Pay Range: The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full-time employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location, and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, and certifications.

$80,958 - $101,146 per year. This position is eligible for a bonus incentive plan, based on company and/or individual performance.

Perform routine and non-routine cleaning tasks along with other staff on Meltblown equipment assuring their ongoing cleanliness

Ability to set-up, operate and troubleshoot and/or make proper machine adjustments to the process to produce quality product that meets and/or exceeds customer expectations

Understand and be able to do basic upkeep and troubleshooting on the following equipment:

• Meltblown machines in total including all sub-systems
• TSI Testers
• Cutters
• Presses
• Resin drying equipment
• Resin mixing equipment
• Silo and sensor for silo depth

Collaborate with and support engineering from Neillsville and Stoughton with new processes and products

Directly engage engineering and maintenance in a timely manner to assist with issues

Assist in creation of documentation for existing and new processes and procedures

Properly complete all documentation within the department including quality records, maintenance logs, production logs, 5S scores, etc as directed

Understand and apply media specifications as needed to maintain product quality.

Assist in managing scrap amounts by promptly addressing causes of scrap including involving engineering or maintenance

Calibrate machines and testing equipment per schedule and as needed, perform quality test procedures as required.

Support and maintain OE initiatives throughout designated work area

Responsible for completing weekly and monthly Preventative Maintenance on equipment.

Apply all safety, quality, ITAR, and other plant processes and procedures to the products

Keep department organized and focused to meet production demands (5S Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, Sustain)

Communicate effectively with department, maintenance, engineering, plant leadership, and any other co-workers

Demonstrated ability to perform critical job functions (as outlined above) and train new employees in the department.

At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time; others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.

This is a remote position, so you'll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.  

This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.

We are looking for an experienced leader in experimentation methodology to join our core Applied ML team. The Applied AI and Machine Learning team handles large-scale data to support many business areas. We develop a cohesive navigation experience across channels and web pages. Our goal is to simplify and improve the shopping experience for everyday entrepreneurs worldwide, helping them quickly find what they need on our website.

In this leadership role, you will enhance the strategic direction of our experimentation methodology efforts. You will use simulations and reinforcement learning, ensuring consistency with business objectives, and supporting cross-functional teams in data-informed experimentation solutions. You will guide teams working at the intersection of large-scale foundation models, multi-agent systems, and RL-based optimization, encouraging a culture of collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence.

What you'll get to do...

• Define and drive the strategic roadmap for AI driven experimentation methodology, aligning initiatives with organizational goals and business impact
• Supervise and mentor teams of scientists and engineers, providing technical guidance and career development
• Promote meticulous experimentation, including the development of simulation environments and robust evaluation frameworks using machine learning and RL
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to translate research outcomes into scalable, production-ready experimentation solutions
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and cultivate a collaborative, innovative environment across the Applied ML team and broader organization

Your experience should include...

• 3+ years of professional experience managing and leading high-performing teams, including mentoring and coaching team member to achieve organizational goals
• 5+ years of professional experience in experimentation methodology, Reinforcement Learning, and software development 
• 2 + years of professional with experimentation platforms, data pipelines, and analytical tools to guide methodological rigor
• A deep understanding of statistical principles, causal inference, and experimental design for large-scale digital products
• A track record of partnering effectively with experimentation platform teams, product managers, and business stakeholders to drive data-informed decision-making
• 5+ years of professional experience translating complex statistical concepts into actionable insights for technical and non-technical audiences
