Responsibilities of the Painter/Finisher:
- Sprays surfaces of, manufactured products, or producat area with protective or decorative material, such as primer, paint, enamel, using spray gun: Cleans grease and dirt from product, using materials, such as lacquer thinner, soap, and water.
- Applies masking tape over parts and areas that are not to be coated.
- May manually manipulate parts into the proper carrier/hanger to provide for proper spraying/drying
- Sands/preps the primer surface to include removing defects and to fill cavities and dents with body filler and putty to attain smooth surface.
- Selects and mixes coating liquid to produce desired color, according to specifications, using paddle or mechanical mixer.
- Pours coating liquid into spray container and connects gun to air hose.
- Turns sprayer valves and nozzle to regulate width and pressure of spray according to knowledge of painting technique.
- Pulls trigger and directs spray onto work surface to apply prime or finish coat.
- Cleans spraying equipment and brushes with solvent.
- Capable of doing spot repair on parts, using blending clear to cut in edges.
- Wet sand small defects and buff paint back to original shine.
Requirements for the Painter/Finisher include:
- Experience in automotive paint and body repair.
- Experience in paint surfaces, paint sprayers, and paint booths preferred.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal/written).
- Excellent visual acuity to identify flaws in Class A painted surfaces.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Certifications from apprentice or training programs preferred.

Position Summary

This role will oversee sales process governance, CRM adoption, pipeline management, and sales training initiatives to ensure the sales team operates with discipline, accuracy, and alignment across all regions and markets. Key Responsibilities
Sales Process Governance
- Develop, document, and enforce standardized sales processes and workflows across the organization.

CRM & Sales Systems Management
- Lead adoption and optimization of CRM platforms and sales tools.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Monitor key commercial metrics including pipeline activity, quote-to-order conversion, sales cycle timing, and forecast accuracy.

- Provide regular reporting to sales leadership and executive management.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with pricing, engineering, operations, and finance to align sales processes with company operations.
- Support improved coordination between outside sales, inside sales, and proposal teams.
- Assist in establishing best practices for bid preparation, technical proposals, and customer engagement.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve sales workflows, documentation, and internal communication.
- Implement best practices to improve speed, accuracy, and consistency in sales execution.
- Support organizational initiatives related to digital transformation and commercial process improvement.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or related field preferred.
Experience
- 7–10 years of experience in sales operations, sales enablement, commercial operations, or training roles.
- Experience working within manufacturing, electrical equipment, power infrastructure, utilities, or industrial markets strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience supporting technical sales teams and complex engineered products.

- Oversee and maintain all plant quality systems, including inspection and testing methods, work instructions, procedures, product specifications, GMPs, food safety compliance, and industry best practices.

Position Overview
Virginia Transformer Corporation is seeking an experienced Metal Fabrication Manager to lead fabrication operations at our Troutville, Virginia Junction Box manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for overseeing all metal fabrication activities including sheet metal processing, welding, forming, and assembly preparation for junction box components used in transformer systems.
The Metal Fabrication Manager will ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, efficiency, and cost control. Key Responsibilities
Fabrication Operations Leadership
- Manage daily operations of the metal fabrication department, including sheet metal processing, cutting, forming, and welding.
- Lead and supervise fabrication teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production output.

About the Role
We are seeking a Contract Execution Manager to serve as the customer-facing liaison for large, custom-engineered, power transformer manufacturing projects. This is not a construction or software PM role — it is a highly technical, contract-driven position responsible for ensuring the successful execution of engineered-to-order equipment, from design release through manufacturing, shipment, and onsite installation.
The position is onsite in Roanoke, VA and requires close collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, contracts, and field service teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers after order placement, ensuring clear communication and contract compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Translate customer specifications and contract terms into actionable deliverables for engineering and manufacturing teams.
- Oversee project schedules adherence to contractional milestone execution, and scope; identify risks and implement proactive resolutions.
- Lead customer project meetings and provide updates on progress, milestones, and risks.
- Ability to handle multiple projects at different stages of execution from order entry through manufacturing, shipping, and warranty.
- Manage all contract obligations, including technical clarifications, change orders, and terms enforcement, in collaboration with sales and legal teams.

Summary
Virginia Transformer is seeking a results-oriented Sr. Manager/Director of Inbound Logistics to lead global transportation operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring timely, safe, and cost-effective inbound delivery of materials and components to support production schedules across our network.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead inbound transportation strategy across ocean, air, and freight forwarding channels.

Divisional Quality Manager

Position Summary
The Divisional Quality Manager is responsible for leading and standardizing quality systems across multiple Virginia Transformer manufacturing facilities. Reporting to the Director of Quality, this role ensures consistent execution of quality standards for custom-engineered power transformers serving utility, industrial, renewable, and critical infrastructure markets.
This role partners closely with Operations, Engineering, Test, Supply Chain, and Customer teams to improve first-pass yield, reduce rework and non-conformances, and ensure Virginia Transformer meets or exceeds customer, regulatory, and industry requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Divisional Quality Leadership
- Lead divisional quality initiatives across assigned Virginia Transformer plants, ensuring alignment with corporate quality strategy.
- Serve as the senior quality escalation point for plant leadership on significant quality issues.
- Support the Director of Quality in establishing divisional KPIs, quality objectives, and continuous improvement priorities.

- Drive quality performance across transformer manufacturing, assembly, and test operations.
- Partner with Test Lab leadership to ensure compliance with IEEE, ANSI, IEC, and customer-specific test requirements.
- Improve first-pass yield, reduce scrap and rework, and strengthen process control throughout manufacturing and testing.
Compliance, Audits & Certifications
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other applicable quality standards.
- Lead internal audits and support external audits, including:
- Utility and industrial customer audits
- Certification body audits
- Regulatory and third-party inspections
- Drive effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) with sustained results.
Supplier & Incoming Quality
- Partner with Supply Chain and Supplier Quality to improve incoming material quality for core steel, coils, insulation systems, bushings, tap changers, and other critical components.
- Support supplier audits, qualifications, and corrective action efforts.
- Monitor supplier performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
Customer Quality & Issue Resolution
- Serve as a key quality leader for customer quality concerns, including non-conformances, test failures, warranty issues, and field returns.
- Lead cross-functional root cause investigations (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone) and ensure timely, effective resolution.
- Support customer quality reviews and performance reporting.
Data, Metrics & Continuous Improvement
- Establish and maintain divisional quality dashboards and KPIs.
- Analyze quality trends related to defects, test failures, and customer feedback.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, coach, and develop plant-level Quality Managers and quality teams across the division.
- Build a strong culture of accountability, ownership, and “right-first-time” execution.
- Support training, capability building, and succession planning within the Quality organization.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or a related technical field.
- 8+ years of progressive quality leadership experience in manufacturing.
- Experience supporting multi-plant manufacturing operations.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001) and audit processes.
- Hands-on experience with root cause analysis, CAPA, and continuous improvement.

Position Summary
We are seeking a Program Manager to organize and lead multi-project equipment and services fulfillment execution for mission-critical data center customers. Based in Roanoke, VA, this role will oversee and align multiple programs and projects across the customer lifecycle — including Project Management (PM), Aligned Delivery, Commissioning Assist (Cx-Assist), and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) programs.
The Program Manager will serve as the key point of coordination for program execution, ensuring clear communication, structured escalation, and proactive management of Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) and Root Cause/Design Events (RCDEs). The Program Manager will direct, orchestrate, coordinate VT project managers and VT cross-functional team. The Program Manager will coordinate, communicate, with corresponding customer program and project teams/leaders and will constantly ‘level-set’ expectations between VT and the customer with a focus on fulfilling VTs commitments while constantly clearly communicating commitment boundaries to the customer. The Program Manager will be key to identifying scope and impact of changes customers may desire or required and will manage/facilitate change orders. The Program Manager will align to the direction provided by Account Managers who own the customer relationship. This position is essential in reinforcing VT’s reputation as a trusted partner for reliable, end-to-end data center power solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Oversight & Alignment
- Organize and operate seamless vertical alignment of PM, Aligned Delivery, Cx-Assist, and O&M programs.
- Ensure program components are integrated and executed consistently across assigned accounts, customers, projects; will coordinate and orchestrate necessary VT commitment execution activities by all necessary VT cross-functional teams, including factory, project management, and field services.
- Maintain alignment with Account Executive directions and customer expectations interpretation as well as VT’s data center offerings and strategies.
- Customer Communication & Escalation
- Establish VT-Customer communication and coordination protocols for equipment and field services commitment execution programs and projects and act as high-level program point of contact for customer program/project peers.
- Manage structured escalation paths to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Provide regular program updates to both customer and VT leadership.
- Continuous Improvement & Quality
- Develop, implement, and track Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) to address program/project challenges, responsive to customer asks/demands.
- Lead reviews of Root Cause Determination Effects (RCDEs) as may be required by customer and to inform continuous improvement action.
- Support process improvements that enhance delivery efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Operations, Service, and Project Management to ensure program/project success.
- Align program deliverables with contracts, SoWs, and customer expectation.
- Drive accountability across functions to maintain program timelines, cost targets, and quality standards, fulfill commitments while limiting risk.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Project/Program Management (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in program or project management, preferably in electrical equipment, data centers, or industrial manufacturing.
- Strong background in customer-facing roles with responsibility for escalation, CAPs, and RCDEs.
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-phase programs across multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- PMP or PgMP certification strongly preferred.

Construction & Expansion (C&E) Document Controls Specialist
Position Summary
The Construction & Expansion (C&E) Document Controls Specialist supports the C&E Controls Manager by maintaining document management, version control, and record integrity across the company’s capital construction and expansion portfolio.
This role serves as the system administrator and gatekeeper for capital project documentation, ensuring that all financial, contractual, change, and stage-gate records are accurate, complete, current, and audit-ready. The position enforces documentation standards and governance processes that protect capital integrity and reduce risk.
Key Responsibilities
Document Management & System Administration
- Administer the capital project document control system.
- Maintain standardized folder structures and naming conventions across all projects.
- Ensure proper version control of contracts, drawings, budgets, change orders, forecasts, and reports.
- Control document access permissions and maintain security protocols.
- Archive and close out project documentation in accordance with corporate direction.
Capital Governance & Change Documentation Support
- Maintain formal change logs and ensure all change documentation is properly uploaded and tracked.

Audit & Compliance Support
- Maintain audit-ready documentation across the full project lifecycle (authorization through closeout).
- Support internal and external audits by retrieving, organizing, and validating required documents.
- Identify documentation gaps and proactively escalate inconsistencies to the Controls Manager.
- Ensure compliance with company governance standards and documentation protocols.
Cross-Functional Coordination

About the Role
Virginia Transformer Corporation is seeking a hands-on Director of Mechanical Engineering to lead the mechanical design and development function across six manufacturing plants. Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of mechanical design engineers across multiple sites, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
