Who we are looking for:

You will primarily provide engineering support on drinking water, wastewater, recycled water, and water resources projects. This position offers the opportunity to direct and collaborate with a team of junior and mid-level staff while providing the ability to consistently work with mid- and senior-level technical staff and leadership across the organization. The ideal candidate is a technically focused individual with strong experience in evaluating, planning, designing, and constructing drinking water and wastewater infrastructure and systems and experienced in engaging with client stakeholders such as operators, superintendents, and public officials to understand how to support their needs. Familiarity with a broad range of issues related to master planning, treatment, distribution, and collection systems is preferred. This is an individual contributor role reporting directly to the Owner/President. You will split your time between both facilities—primarily based at TCI in Gardena with approximately one day per week at the E-Z LOK facility in Los Alamitos. You will be responsible for strategic sourcing, day-to-day purchasing, inventory optimization, supplier management, and cost reduction for both operations. The right person combines sharp negotiation skills with deep knowledge of metals and manufactured components supply chains, and is comfortable working across two distinct product lines and ERP environments. This is a high-impact role with real visibility—your decisions will directly affect margins, on-time delivery, and operational efficiency across the entire organization.

•       Build and maintain strong relationships with mills, metal distributors, and component suppliers across both TCI and E-Z LOK product lines

•       Monitor supplier performance for quality, delivery, responsiveness, and cost competitiveness

•       Research, identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors for raw materials, threaded insert components, packaging, and other supplies

•       Negotiate pricing, terms, lead times, freight terms, and consignment or exclusivity arrangements

•       Develop backup sourcing and disaster recovery strategies to ensure supply continuity for both divisions

Join as a founding member of the Supply Chain team. To scale in relation to our exploding demand, the Strategic Sourcing Manager will work directly with our Head of Supply Chain in ramping up our production and building the team to do so. This Strategic Sourcer will lead procurement, planning and fulfillment, supplier development/quality and inventory. The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of aerial systems with the desire and capability to take on new challenges in unfamiliar areas to help keep soldiers off the battlefield. In addition, this individual will be responsible for:

• Leading the commodity strategy of all electronic systems including PCB's, EEE components and more
• Develop, and manage the supply base to enable quick prototype deployment and introduction to scalable production for drone integration
• Develop and manage purchase part inventory plans
• Independently question the requirements of our engineers regarding tolerance, lead times, etc.
• Act as the supplier interface for all RFIs, RFPs and RFQs
• Independently negotiate contracts including pricing, technical requirements, scope, and terms involving responsibility, liability, and intellectual property
• Visit supplier facilities and accurately assess operational capability, financial health, and capacity in order to award contracts in support of new product development and long-term production
• Work collaboratively with internal teams on sourcing strategy, market analysis, trade-off analysis reviews, make v buy, and supplier roadmaps with engineers to support cost, quality, and delivery targets
• Partner with internal stakeholders on requests for information, request for proposal, and request for quotation

You should have the following:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain or business
• 4+ years of procurement or supplier management experience
• Experience in electro-mechanical systems procurement
• Ability to travel both domestically and internationally

US Salary Range

$120,000 - $170,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are considered part of Neros' total compensation package.

What Will You Bring as the Ideal Candidate?

• Experience: 35+ years of hands-on inspection experience in aerospace, medical devices, or other high-precision manufacturing environments utilizing all levels of FAI techniques.
• Computer Skills: Confident navigating inspection software, SAP/ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel
• Tool Guru: Expertise with tools like micrometers, calipers, ring/thread gauges, CMM, and optical comparators
• Quality Expert: Deep familiarity with AS9100, AS9102, ISO 9001, FAI's and customer quality requirements
• Decision Maker: A sharp eye and decisive judgment youve led FAIs and made tough calls with confidence
• Strong organizational skills from paperwork to multitasking electronically in a fast-paced environment
• Focus and grit youll be seated at a desk, inspecting in a warm, active warehouse environment.

• Internal auditor certifications (AS9100 or ASQ CQA/CQI)
• Experience using Net-Inspect or other similar inspection systems
