Senior Construction Project Manager

We Search people are working with a well-established construction firm, who are looking for an experienced Commercial Construction Senior Project Manager to oversee and deliver high-quality commercial building projects. This position will play a key role in managing projects from preconstruction through completion, ensuring work is delivered on schedule, within budget, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee project scope, budgets, and schedules to ensure successful and timely delivery
- Work closely with the preconstruction team during project handover and manage subcontractors throughout the build phase to project completion
- Coordinate all on-site construction activities and collaborate with internal teams and external partners
- Maintain clear and proactive communication with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
- Review and manage contracts, change orders, and payment applications
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and local building requirements
- Lead regular project meetings to track progress, identify risks, and address project performance
- Manage final punch lists and ensure all closeout documentation is completed
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience managing commercial construction projects, including ground-up developments
- Demonstrated experience overseeing complex builds involving multiple subcontractors and trades
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, MS Project, and digital plan review platforms such as Bluebeam (or similar software)
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supports construction erosion and sediment stormwater inspections and be available 24/7 to support inspections.
- Works closely with Operations and Engineering on monitoring compliance and close out of construction projects.
- Provides support to operations and engineering for multi-media environmental compliance programs.
- Conducts multi-media environmental compliance inspections to meet permit/plan requirements.
- Conducts waste sampling for waste characterization and disposal.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements
- Perform accurate quantity takeoffs from plans and specifications
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
- Develop conceptual, preliminary, and final estimates during design development
- Identify cost-saving alternatives and value engineering options
- Assemble complete bid proposals and pricing summaries
- Solicit, review, and level subcontractor and supplier bids
- Collaborate and reconcile scopes with other members of the estimating team
- Ensure bids comply with project requirements, scope, and deadlines
