Fiber Network Planning Engineer / Network Architect
Conshohocken, PA (Onsite/Hybrid as applicable)
12-Month Contract-to-Hire
We are seeking a highly motivated Fiber Network Planning Engineer / Network Architect to join our team in Conshohocken, PA. This is a 12-month contract-to-hire opportunity for a skilled engineering professional with experience in utility and fiber network design who is eager to contribute to large-scale transport and fiber initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Assess existing and future transport solutions using design tools such as GIS, considering location type, substation size, remote access requirements, and other key factors
- Participate in weekly client fiber project reviews, quarterly network planning sessions, and coordination meetings
- Coordinate with GIS teams to document logical schematics and geographic network designs, including MPLS, DWDM, and SONET systems
- Collaborate with network design engineering teams to integrate fiber designs into network packages
- Provide technical guidance on transport solutions and network topology
- Coordinate FRP buildout plans with the Portfolio Development Lead to establish schedules and budgets
- Support the creation and submission of Fiber Optic Work Requests (FOWR)
- Review fiber cost estimates, scope documents, and design packages to ensure technical accuracy and constructability
- Document fiber initiatives, update process documentation, and develop client-facing deliverables and “How-To” guides
- Conduct site visits to assess substation control house conditions and determine equipment needs
- Perform additional investigation of distribution lines along fiber routes as required
Required Qualifications
- One of the following education/experience combinations:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET accredited) + 3+ years of electrical engineering experience (consulting preferred), OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or related Engineering Technology (ABET accredited) + FE exam completion + 3+ years of electrical engineering experience (consulting preferred), OR
- Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering + 2+ years of electrical engineering experience (consulting preferred)
- Utility or fiber network design experience required
- Familiarity with GIS design tools, including ESRI environments (ArcGIS Pro and/or FME preferred)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage complex information and apply engineering principles across diverse assignments

We lead the master planning, own the creative direction, and provide interior design in-house. This structure places the PM in a highly collaborative, design-forward environment where execution rigor and creative ambition are equally non-negotiable.
The Project Manager acts as the Owner’s Representative for a portfolio of residential, commercial, and hospitality projects primarily in the Greater Philadelphia region, but including locations across the U.S.. The role owns the full arc of delivery—from feasibility to closeout—with a responsibility to protect design intent while enforcing budget discipline, schedule accountability, and execution quality.
Reporting to the Project Director, the PM serves as the central decision integrator across internal teams (development, design, finance) and external partners (architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, municipalities). Success in this role requires deep construction knowledge, 5+ years of hands-on experience in architecture, engineering, construction management, or real estate development, and a proven ability in managing overlapping complex projects of various size and scale, high-end client expectations, and close collaboration with internal and external design teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership & Owner’s Representation
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Client communication related to budget, schedule, scope, and delivery logistics - with prior alignment from leadership. Clients should be handled with exceptionally high-level care and service.
- Lead projects from pre-development and entitlements through construction and closeout, ensuring continuity of vision and execution.

- Draft, issue, and manage RFQ/RFP processes for consultants, contractors, and vendors.
- Oversee contractor performance during pre-construction and construction, holding teams accountable to contract requirements.
Design, Coordination & Quality Oversight
- Lead internal and external coordination meetings during design to ensure all disciplines are aligned toward a complete, coordinated IFC set.
- Review drawings and specifications for completeness, coordination, and alignment with budget and schedule.
- Monitor construction quality and conformance with approved documents and design intent.
Permitting, Approvals & Local Coordination
- Support and coordinate zoning, permitting, and inspection processes in collaboration with consultants, general contractors, and local municipalities.
- Track approvals, conditions, and compliance requirements, ensuring information is routed to the appropriate internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage the General Contractor’s permitting and inspection responsibilities to align with the project schedule.
Construction Administration & Closeout
- Lead weekly project meetings; prepare and distribute clear meeting minutes, action items, and follow-ups.

- Manage RFIs, submittals, and change management workflows, ensuring timely review, documentation, and communication.

Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Real Estate Management, Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in real estate development or owner’s representative project management - with a proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex, large-scale projects.
- Proficiency in Programs: Scheduling software (Microsoft Project or Project 365) & Microsoft or Google Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc).

The Trade Compliance Sr. Analyst is responsible for ensuring compliant and efficient import operations for Kulicke & Soffa. This position focuses heavily on customs clearance, reviewing CBP Form 7501, validating import documentation, and supporting duty classification and regulatory compliance. The role also includes performing Restricted Party Screening (RPS) to prevent unauthorized transactions and ensure alignment with U.S. export control regulations. Assuring a compliant audit trail exists for all Customs entries cleared under Kulicke & Soffa. Assuring that imports and exports of the company are compliant with US Customs and Foreign Local import regulations such as HTS (Harmonized Tariff Schedule) classification, valuation, country of origin, assists, record keeping, ADD/CVD, special trade programs and other government agency requirements, EAR and ITAR regulations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure day-to-day tracking and monitoring of all shipments.
- Review Customs Form 7501 for accuracy (HTS, duty rates, declared value, COO, PGA requirements).
- Verify that broker‐submitted entries align with internal compliance standards, coordinate corrections.
- Review supporting documents: commercial invoices, packing lists, airway bills, bills of lading, COO certificates
- Work closely with brokers and logistics teams to ensure timely customs clearance.
- Track and apply Section 301/232 tariffs and other custom-related duties.
- Maintain accurate and compliant CBP recordkeeping per 19 CFR §163.
- Interact effectively with multiple functional areas including management, supply chain, distribution, engineering, finance, IT and legal.
- Ensure that proposed customers are screened for Denied Person and Entities, restricted end-uses, and diversion and releases orders as appropriate or refer them to the appropriate personnel for further review and discussion.
- Identify whether other Government agency requirements are applicable to product imports and exports (e.g. DDTC, FCC, FDA, etc.).
- Evaluate all new Government agency requirements to ensure import and export compliance with changes and incorporate into day-to-day operations and standard operating procedures.
- Ascertain that up-to-date profiles and SOPs are provided to all endorsed service providers to ensure proper import and export clearance.
- Communicate with affiliated business units overseas to streamline export and import processes.
- Ensure that a trained back-up is available to assist with compliance functions.
- Perform Restricted Party Screening (RPS) for customers, vendors, and end‐users.
- Document and escalate matches, red flags, or concerns based on internal escalation procedures.
- Support due‐diligence workflows (EUS, CPP, Red Flag questionnaires) as needed.
- Track shipment status, delays, exams, and entry issues.
- Recommend process improvements to strengthen import compliance controls.

Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs all work according to OSHA and H&K Safety policies
- Maintain up-to-date project progress information and cost of labor and material data for project control and analysis
- Create and update at least monthly the overall schedule. Review schedules with the superintendent for each project including the required timetables for work performed by subcontractors
- Work as a team with assigned foreman and superintendent to build project in a controlled manner. Manage and coordinate with subcontractor
- Coordinate with purchasing the requisition of materials and furnish information for proper coding of invoices
- Provide modifications resulting in change orders
- Shares with the Estimator in the processing of plan revisions for change orders and distribute as required
- Process Additional Work Authorizations (AWA’s) for change order submission
- Coordinate and process change orders or technical problems with client requirements, suppliers, superintendents, and subcontractors
- Review project cost reports each day
- Visit project sites for troubleshooting and for the purposes of ensuring project quality. Site visits to be at least once a week
- Oversee project security and safety
- Prepare project AIA Billing requisitions with project secretary
- Review all purchase orders, delivery tickets, subcontractor requisitions, and invoices to see that they are coded correctly for project costing
- Maintain all project files: submittals, shop drawings, maintenance manuals, as-built drawings, punch lists
- Occasionally meet with all subcontractors/suppliers for project coordination
- Maintain a log for all submittals and shop drawings
- Assist with new project transitions and pre-job planning
- Chair all project meetings
- Meet or exceed project objectives as determined in the pre-job planning process
- Provide accurate percent complete status on projects to accounting each month
- Conduct a thorough analysis of job costs vs. budget each month
- Report to top management each month on gross margin improvement strategies and accomplishments
- Other duties as assigned
