Project Manager (Architectural Signage)
Job Description
This is an in-person position only.
About Us:
Baron Sign Manufacturing is South Florida’s premier design-build partner for custom architectural signage, structural monument signs, and comprehensive wayfinding packages. Operating out of our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Jupiter, FL, we partner with top-tier general contractors, developers, and Owner's Reps to deliver turnkey solutions for large-scale commercial, healthcare, and multi-family developments. Because we handle design, engineering, fabrication, and installation entirely in-house, we maintain uncompromising control over quality, budgets, and timelines.
The Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to take full ownership of complex, high-value architectural signage packages. This is not an entry-level or training position. We need a seasoned industry professional who can step in immediately to drive projects from the pre-construction handover through to final site installation. You will serve as the primary bridge between our Tier-1 commercial clients and our internal manufacturing floor.
Core Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Direct and manage the entire lifecycle of turnkey signage packages, ensuring strict adherence to aggressive commercial construction schedules and budgets.
- Blueprint & Code Knowledge: Independently evaluate complex architectural blueprints, interior finish packages, and structural engineering plans to conduct accurate, code-compliant take-offs (ADA, life safety, and vehicular wayfinding).
- Client & Stakeholder Management: Serve as the authoritative point of contact for general contractors, architects, and developers, proactively solving structural or timeline conflicts before they impact the site.
- Production Coordination: Work closely with the Estimating and Fabrication teams at our Jupiter plant to dictate project timelines, monitor deliverables, and sequence manufacturing workflows.
Required Qualifications:
- Mandatory Industry Experience: A minimum of 3+ years of direct Project Management experience strictly within the custom signage manufacturing industry. (Candidates without direct signage experience will not be considered).
- Technical Literacy: Deep understanding of custom metal fabrication, structural aluminum assemblies, and Florida Building Code requirements (including wind-load engineering and right-of-way permitting).
- Software Proficiency: Advanced command of Microsoft Excel and modern project management software.
- Executive Communication: Exceptional business acumen with the verbal and written authority required to manage high-end commercial construction accounts.
