Desktop Support Technician

We are seeking an experienced Desktop Support Technician to join our client’s Desktop Support team. This role will primarily focus on a large-scale Windows 10 to Windows 11 migration project. While the immediate priority is Windows 11 deployment, the technician will also provide Tier 2 desktop support and contribute to daily end-user support operations as needed.

Location: Orange, CA (On-site)

Compensation: $25 - $35 per hour plus benefits

What You Will Do:

• Perform Windows 10 to Windows 11 migrations across desktops and laptops in an enterprise environment
• Provide Tier 2 desktop support, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and operating system issues
• Independently triage, diagnose, and resolve end-user incidents and service requests
• Support end users through multiple communication channels, including in-person, remote, phone, email, chat, and text
• Document incidents, resolutions, and procedures within the ticketing system
• Create and maintain knowledge base articles and technical documentation
• Assist with device refreshes and deployment programs
• Participate in project-based work as assigned
• Deliver exceptional customer service in a healthcare-focused environment

What Gets You The Job:

• 3–4+ years of experience in desktop or field services support
• Must have experience supporting users in a healthcare environment
• Strong experience supporting Windows devices, including Windows 10 and Windows 11
• Hands-on experience with OS upgrades, device refresh programs, and general PC troubleshooting
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable working onsite and traveling to local clinic locations as needed
• Relevant technical certifications or degree (helpful but not required)

The CMM Programmer is responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) programs using PC‑DMIS software to support inspection activities. This role ensures that manufactured components meet engineering specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements. The CMM Programmer works closely with Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to support production and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and optimize CMM programs using PC‑DMIS for dimensional inspection of parts, assemblies, and tooling.
• Perform first‑article inspections (FAI), in‑process checks, and final inspections as required.
• Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications to develop accurate measurement strategies.
• Set up and operate CMM equipment to validate program accuracy and ensure measurement repeatability.
• Analyze inspection results, generate detailed reports, and communicate findings to Quality and Engineering.
• Maintain CMM equipment, including calibration checks and basic troubleshooting.
• Assist in root‑cause analysis and corrective actions for dimensional non‑conformances.
• Support continuous improvement efforts by recommending measurement process improvements.
• Maintain documentation, revision control, and adherence to quality system standards (AS9100, ISO 9001, etc., if applicable).

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a CMM Programmer or similar role in a manufacturing or precision machining environment.
• Proficiency with PC‑DMIS software (Required).
• Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and metrology principles.
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and 3D models.
• Experience operating various inspection tools (micrometers, height gages, calipers, optical/comparator equipment).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Location Details: United States - Remote

At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-events or offsites. This is a remote position, so you'll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or offsites.

Do you want to be an Information Security Leader at GoDaddy? GoDaddy's Product Security group is looking for a Principal Security Engineer to join our organization. Can you solve large scale and cross-company issues, while ensuring that partnership with the development and operational communities remains in front of mind?

GoDaddy is looking for a Principal Security Engineer to apply their hands-on technical skills, strong leadership abilities, and an eagerness to design solutions to complex problems. You must be comfortable with communicating to stakeholders, performing security assessments and prioritizing security risks, creating/presenting high-quality deliverables.

What you'll get to do...

• Identify security threats in applications and infrastructure and provide remediation mentorship to system owners.
• Join forces with SRE and development teams to find new and creative ways to reduce the occurrence of vulnerabilities at scale.
• Build repeatable/reusable security processes and frameworks.
• Review quality issues and work towards detecting security flaws both obvious and discrete.
• Assist with scoping prospective projects, participating in projects from kickoff through "definition of done" via end-to-end ownership.
• Use your industry experience to own and drive resolution and retest complex security events, policy questions and technical security risks.

Your experience should include...

• 7+ years of progressive security engineering experience across Security Architecture, Cryptography, Network, Cloud, Mobile, and Web Security.
• Skilled in Secure Development Lifecycle, Security by Design, and Shift Left methodologies.
• Proficient in Threat Modeling, Architecture Review, Penetration Testing, Code Review, SAST, and DAST.
• Strong scripting abilities in languages such as Python, C, C++, Java, Ruby, and PowerShell.
• Adept at applying security best practices for compliance, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

You might also have...

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
• Hosting industry and/or cloud Experience.
• Experience in hardware security.
